Amazing Paper Grace Vellum Layered Cherry Blossoms

I am always looking for different ways to make flowers for my cards. I had made this pretty card using the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Classics Collection by Becca Feeken as a demonstration on how you can emboss these dies for an elegant finish for the Amazing Paper Grace – Encouragement Community on Facebook. I needed some delicate flowers to match the pretty background so I looked at the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Cherry Blossoms Dies and they were the perfect size for this card. This time I made the flowers from vellum and there is a tutorial in the Amazing Paper Grace – Encouragement Community. Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

I have made a base card of 5″ x 5″ out of white cardstock. I have layered the Square Candlewick Classic die with the Round Doily and Circle Candlewick Classic dies to create the base for the flowers, sentiment and butterfly. I also put some pearlescent vellum behind the Round Doily to help this die stand out from the background.

I added the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Occasions Sentiments Hot Foil Plate which had been reverse foiled with gold foil with some foam squares. I then added the flowers, leaves and branches to the right of the centre and sentiment. To finish I added a pretty butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motif Dies that has been made from vellum and given some sparkle with glitter. Finally I added some pink iridescent jewels to the centre of the flowers and around the sentiment.
