Lush Lilac Umbrella

Today for Inspiration Wednesday for Heartfelt Creations I have two projects in two posts.  First up is this umbrella that I have created using an SVG file from svgcuts.com.

Brilliance Pearlescent Purple Ink, Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender ink, Pearls SVGcuts file, Cricut Explore Air, American Crafts cardstock – purple. White organza ribbon, light purple ribbon, Bow Maker, Glue Gloss

Instructions:

Die cut the umbrella using the SVG file on the machine using the American Crafts purple cardstock and the patterned paper.  Assemble according to the instructions.  An extra layer was added for more strength to the umbrella handle.

Stamp two large lilac spray image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves inks and use the Dove Blender pen to colour the flowers with the Purple and Lavender inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape lightly and adhere to the back of the umbrella on either side of the handle.

Stamp several small lilac spray images from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves inks and use the Dove Blender pen to colour the flowers with the Purple and Lavender inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Adhere to the umbrella handle (leaving room for the ribbon bow) and around the larger lilac spray images on the back of the umbrella.

Stamp three large lilac spray images from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves and colour the flowers with Purple and Lavender inks with the Dove Blender Pen.  Die cut with the coordinating dies, shape and adhere to the top of the front of the umbrella as shown.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold kit and adhere the lilacs to large sprays on the front of the umbrella, the long and small lilac sprays on the inside of the umbrella and up the umbrella handle.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss

Cut the tags from the patterned paper and adhere to the umbrella handle with twine.  To finish make a double bow with organza and purple ribbon using the bow maker and adhere to the handle as shown.  Add pearls around the front as shown.

Foam tape, Brilliance Pearlescent Purple, Versamagic Sweet Petunia, Glue Gloss, Creative Expressions Iris cardstock, Zig Colour Brush Markers

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make a base card of 6” x 6”.  Cut a piece of Iris cardstock at 6” x 7” and die cut the lace edge from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders die on both sides of the card.  Die cut 3 cages from Iris cardstock and adhere to the top of the card on the back, with the centre cage slightly higher.

Take the 6” x 6” patterned panel and die cut the inner square using the Cut Mat Create 2A die.  Using the frame as a template adhere the centre to the front of the Iris card.  Die cut a cage from white cardstock and adhere to the front of the panel.  Stamp the small lilac spray image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth paper and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour the image in with Zig brush markers and adhere to the bottom of the cage.  Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink, and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilac to the lilac spray.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.  Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Add a bird to the top of the lilac spray.

Cut a piece of clear cardstock 3 ¾” x 5 ½” and score ½” in from each end on the long side. Bend slightly and adhere on the sides of the frame.  Adhere the frame to the card base with foam tape.  Die cut another cage out of white cardstock and adhere over the clear cardstock over the previous cage image.  Cut 3 cages out of the Iris cardstock and adhere to the back of this panel with the centre one being slightly higher.  Adhere the card front to the card base.  Cut the sentiment from the patterned paper and adhere to the top of the card as shown.

Stamp the umbrella image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die. Colour in with Zig brush markers and shape lightly and adhere to the bottom left of the card.

Stamp the long lilac spray image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour in with Zig markers and shape lightly and adhere to the top right of the bird cage coming down the right side of the cage.

Stamp the lilacs and buds from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink, and Bamboo Leaves ink on the stems of the buds and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs to the umbrella and over the long lilac spray and around the sentiment as shown. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.

Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Shape lightly and adhere above the umbrella and on the right as shown.

Clean and Simple Lush Lilac Card

This is my second post featuring the stunning Lush Lilac Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I love doing a wide range of cards and today I am featuring a clean and simple card that also has some foiling for a touch of elegance.

Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangles, Go Press and Foil, Brilliance Pearlescent Purple, Itty Bitty Clear Sparkles, Foam dots

Instructions

Cut a piece of white cardstock 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score along the long side at 4 ¼” and fold to create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” base card.  Using the Largest edge die, hemstitch die and the second largest edge die from the Hemstitch Rectangles die set foil with gold using the Go Press and Foil machine.  Using a sharp knife and ruler trim the edges before adhering to the front of the card.  Using the second largest edge die cut a piece of white cardstock and adhere to the base card with foam tape.  Die cut the house image using the third largest edge die from the Hemstitch Rectangles die set and adhere to the front of the card as shown.

Cut the sentiment out from the paper collection, shape and adhere to the front of the image as shown.

Stamp the small lilac spray image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves ink and the lilacs with Purple ink.  Shape and adhere on the top left of the patterned image over the sentiment.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry and adhere the lilacs to small lilac spray. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss and little bitty sparkles to the centres.

Stamp the small bird images from the HCPC-3768 Woodsy Critters Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and die cut with the corresponding dies.  Colour the birds with Peanut Brittle and Danube Blue inks, shape and adhere around the lilacs and sentiment as shown with foam dots.

To finish, add Ultrafine Glitter to the house image with Dries Clear Glue.

Other – Bristol Smooth paper,  Zig Markers, Heart of Gold Prills Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender, Versamagic Spring Pansy, Creative Expressions Iris cardstock

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 12” x 7 ½”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make the base card of 6” x 7 ½”.  Using the edge die from the Basic Border Basics die set die cut the top of the card base.  Cut a piece of the lighter orange patterned paper 2” x 6” and adhere to the bottom of the card front.  Cut a piece of orange patterned paper 7 ½” x 6” and die cut the edges using the edge die and the long stitch die as shown.  Die cut two eyelet edges from the Iris cardstock and adhere to the edges of the orange paper.  Adhere to the front of the card as shown.

Die cut the circle with a partial image of the fairy out of the 6” x 6” panelled paper with the largest edge die from the HCD1-7154 Circle Basics – Small set.  Die cut the eyelet circle out of Iris cardstock from the HCD1-7155 Circle Basics – Large and adhere to the back of the circle.  Die cut 4 decorative shapes from the Festive Holiday die set out of Iris cardstock and adhere around the circle and then adhere to the front of the card.

Stamp the fairy and umbrella images from the HCPPC-3809 Singing in the Rain Stamp with Jet Black ink on Bristol smooth cardstock.  Colour in with Zig markers and die cut using the coordinating dies.  Add 3D Crystal Lacquer to the wings of the fairy and sprinkle with Ultrafine Crystal glitter.  Adhere the fairy and umbrella to the card as shown.

Stamp the dog image from the HCPC-3759 Pampered Pooch Pals Stamp set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth paper and die cut with the coordinating die.  Using Zig markers colour the image, shape lightly and adhere to the bottom of the circle image next to the fairy.

Cut the sentiment from the patterned paper and sponge the edges with Pretty Petunia ink and adhere to the bottom of the oval.

Stamp the floral image from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms stamp with Lavender, Rose Coral and Bamboo Leaves inks on white cardstock, colour the leaves with Bamboo Leaves and the flowers with Rose Coral for the coral flowers and Pretty Petunia for the Lavender flowers.  Die cut with the coordinating dies, shape and adhere around the base of the oval and the sentiment.  Add Crystal Clear to the flowers with a Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.

Stamp the leaf image from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms stamp in Bamboo Leaves ink on white cardstock, sponge with Bamboo Leaves and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape and adhere around the back of the flowers.

To make the flowers stamp the images from the HCPC-3769 Wildwood Florals Stamp set in Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender, and Rose Coral inks on white cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Sponge the edges with the corresponding inks and shape.  Add Heart of Gold prills to the centres and Crystal Clear Glitter with Dries Clear glue.  Add the flowers at the ends of the sentiment as shown and on the fairy’s hair.

To finish, add Ultrafine Glitter to rain drops and randomly over the image.
