Cut a piece of gold cardstock 6” x 6” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a 6” x 6” panel from the pattern paper and trim to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut three outer decorative dies using the No. 2 die from the HCD1-7370 Simply Elegant Centerpiece Die – two from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and one from gold cardstock. Adhere the two white dies together and then add the gold die to the top of the white dies. Adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the inner decorative die using the No. die from the HCD1-7370 Simply Elegant Centerpiece Die and adhere to the centre of the decorative frame.

Die cut three wreaths using the No. 2 die from the HCD1-7375 Seasonal Wreath Die – two from dark green cardstock and one from medium green cardstock. Adhere together with the medium green wreath in the centre and slightly offset them. Adhere to the card as shown.

Stamp the berry, holly leaves, fir branches, pine cones, baubles and bells and rosehip images from the HCPC-3967 Winter Wreath Accents Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and colour pencils and die cut with the coordinating dies. Assemble the images around the bottom of the wreath as shown.

Colour the centres with Sunflower ink and the petals with Vermillion ink and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the backs of the flowers with Vermillion ink and die cut with the coordinating molds. Assemble using two petals of each size and insert yellow bead stamens through the centres. To finish the flowers, add Crystal Clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium. Add the poinsettia to the bottom of the wreath over the coloured images as shown.

Die cut the outer bow die from the HCD1-7375 Seasonal Wreath Die out of gold cardstock. Die cut three inner bow dies from the HCD1-7375 Seasonal Wreath Die out of gold cardstock. Adhere one detailed bow die to the outer bow die and then add three layers of the inner die cuts to the bow. Adhere to the top of the wreath as shown.

Amazing Paper Grace October Die of the Month Blog Hop – Flourished Fleurit

Elegance is our go-to style at Amazing Paper Grace.  We are always on the hunt for those elegant elements that you can add to a card that gives it just the right feel and appeal.  This month we’re head over heels for a year around a cascade of tendrils that can be snipped here and there to be used for top and bottom card decoration.  Say welcome to the Amazing Paper Grace October 2021 Die of the Month – Flourished Fleurit.

The inspiration for Flourished Fleurit comes from looking through our stashes for just the right Rectangle or just the right Square.  Guess what – Flourished Fleurit can be both.  A snip here or a snip there puts give is just the right proportion to be a rectangle or a square.  We cleverly added in sprigs of flowers so that you can cover your transitions.  Hunting for elegant corners for a slimline – look no further.  A slip or two has you covered.

Here are some ideas that might inspire you to create:

 1.  Snip between all four corners for slimline decoration
 2.  Snip between the connecting rod and cinch for a square
 3.  Cut as a rectangle for a beautiful A7 layout with many options.

**Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.**

There are 9 dies included in the Flourished Fleurit.

My Project Today using Flourished Fleurit.

For my shaped card I have kept to a simple white on white finish with just a hint of gold in the inner decorative die and the hot foiled sentiment. I finished with a pop of colour with the flowers and leaves.

The little basket was very quick and easy to create – just score a single die cut at the edges where the flourishes finish and fold up. Make a little box and add to the centre of the die, add flowers and finish with a ribbon boow. Just add chocolates and you have a beautiful gift basket.

Designer Tip:

Trim the gold inner decorative die in the centre and then adhere to each end slightly overlapping the dies. This allows the gold edge to overlap more evenly.
