Amazing Paper Grace | The Christmas Flourishes Collection Intro Blog Hop

I love decorative dies that can be trimmed to create a totally different look and I also love mixing and matching past Amazing Paper Grace dies for an elegant and timeless look. The Amazing Paper Grace Merry Flourish Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken was perfect for trimming to create an elegant Christmas card and also to create a sparkling Christmas decoration that can be personalised or use as a tag for a Christmas present

Today’s projects created were used with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

Today I am sharing a Christmas card and coordinating Christmas decoration made using the Amazing Paper Grace Merry Flourish Etched Dies from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken and with the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Flourish 2D Embossing Folder from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken. I have used the Fluted Classics Ovals Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken to create a base for the decorative dies and embellishments. The card has been decorated with poinsettias from the Amazing Paper Grace Shapeabilities Cinch and Go Poinsettia Etched Dies Etched Dies A Charming Christmas Collection by Becca Feeken, birds and holly from the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Frame Gala Etched Dies Christmas Cascade Collection by Becca Feeken.

I have used the Fluted Classics Ovals Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken as a base for the flourishes and sentiment to sit on.

I have die cut four flourishes – two from silver and two from light blue cardstock. I then adhered the silver flourish under the blue flourish before trimming the flourishes and adding to each end of the oval base.

I have I have added the band using Pearlescent vellum to the centre of the card for the Christmas sentiment on.

To finish the card I have made some poinsettias from the Amazing Paper Grace Shapeabilities Cinch and Go Poinsettia Etched Dies Etched Dies A Charming Christmas Collection by Becca Feeken to compliment the holly and birds from the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Frame Gala Etched Dies Christmas Cascade Collection by Becca Feeken.

I have created a shaker element by stacking 5 layers of the decorative die and trimming out the sentiment and the band to allow me to add the sequins. The back is plain to add the sequins to. I have die cut the sentiment for the top layer and adhered it to acetate before adding it to the front of the decoration. You can personalise the decoration on the back of the decoration. I have added some iridescent jewels for a sparkly finish.
