I have another bright and cheerful card to share with you today with a real groovy feel. My card today showcases the fabulous Amazing Paper Grace 3D Retro TV Vignette Etched Dies by Becca Feeken from the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken. I love the attention to detail with this set and it reminds me of the television in the movie Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the original movie with Gene Wilder) where the little boy gets pulled into the television. This set is just so the 60’s and because I already had the flowers made this card came together very quickly which is always a bonus!
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
I had a few birthday cards to do at the end of last year and I was so pleased to have Amazing Paper Grace dies on hand to make very quick and easy cards. This card is for my brother-in-law who loves gardening and I was inspired by Becca Feeken’s beautiful blue flowers using the Amazing Paper Grace April 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Watering Can. This card is perfect for a masculine card that also features flowers. Men do like flowers and my brother-in-law loved the card which is the main thing.

I simply can’t get enough of the Amazing Paper Grace The Home Sweet Quilt Collection by Becca Feeken. They are fantastic to add decorative panels to cards and today I have another card for you featuring the Amazing Paper Grace Log Cabin and Flower Mini Quilts Etched Dies by Becca Feeken. I have been inspired for this card by Yasmin Diaz who is an influencer for Spellbinders. She does amazing cards using a white on white theme and I have carried this theme through to my card but of course I had to add my handcrafted flowers and butterflies to make this card my own.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my card today I have created a base card of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ out of Snowdrift cardstock. I have then embossed a piece of 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Snowdrift cardstock partially at the top and bottom using the Amazing Paper Grace Orange Peel Quilt Embossing Folder. I have heat embossed the sentiment in gold and then adhered the card to the front. I have created the quilted panel using a combination of Snowdrift and gold cardstock from the Amazing Paper Grace Log Cabin and Flower Mini Quilts Etched Dies and adhered the panel to the top of the card front as shown. To finish I have added some handcrafted flowers and leaves made from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud Etched Dies and a pretty butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies.
I die cut an extra outline for the quilted panel to create extra depth and dimension to the quilted panel.
I have scored two lines top and bottom of the embossing to finish the panel for the sentiment.
The butterfly base has been made from vellum coloured with Saltwater Taffy and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks to coordinate with the flowers.
I have added some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the flowers and leaves for a shiny finish.

I am learning so much about quilting patterns using the Amazing Paper Grace The Home Sweet Quilt Collection – I never realised that there were so many different combinations you can get with one pattern! I have been late to the ink blending party and I have admired all those that ink blend with ease. Today I have a pretty pink and feminine card to share with you featuring the gorgeous Amazing Paper Grace Filigree Eight Point Star Etched Dies from Home Sweet Quilt Collection by Becca Feeken. I have ink blended the background for a soft and romantic feel to the card and allow the quilted pattern to shine. Handcrafted flowers, a sweet butterfly and white satin bows add a shabby chic finish.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
I put all the base pieces into the pattern and taped them together so I could ink blend the pieces from the centre out. This way I was able to get an even blend.
I inked the centre background motif on vellum with picked Raspberry. I then layered the vellum onto white cardstock before adding to the centre of the card as shown.
I die cut 4 layers of the sentiment die and stacked them together for more dimension.
Designers Tip:
I would place the quilt bases on the card front first before adding the outline and decorative inlay dies to the front. I ended up adding a row of pearls to kept the outer edge straight.
