Welcome back and today I have another birthday card featuring the very beautiful Buttons and Blooms collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I love the panels that come with the paper collections as they make cardmaking very quick and easy.  Add foam tape to add dimension and then just add your embellishments and you are good to go.

Blue Crafter’s Companion Pearlescent card, iCraft Super White cardstock, Foam Tape

Cut a piece of white cardstock 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score at 4 ¼” along the long side and fold to create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” base card.  Die cut the decorative edge from the HCD1-7146 Festive Holiday Die set from blue cardstock.  Cut a piece of blue patterned paper 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and adhere the decorative edge behind the top of the paper and then adhere to the front of the card.  Cut the panel from the paper pattern and die cut the centre oval out with the second size straight edge die from the HCD1-7157 Eyelet Ovals and Basics – Large die set.  Adhere the frame to the front of the card using foam tape and then add the centre oval inside with Dries Clear glue.  Die cut the frame from the HCD1-7207 Handstitched Accents Die set in white cardstock and adhere to the card front with foam tape.

Stamp the rose vine images from the HCPC-3834 Leafy Accents Stamp set in Library Green ink on white cardstock and colour in with Leaf Green and Fern Green inks before die cutting with the coordinating die.  Shape using the coordinating mold.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the leaves using Dries Clear glue with a damp sponge.  Adhere the leaves to the right side of the oval.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3859 Buttons and Bloom Stamp set on the Super White cardstock in a variety of colours – Vibrant Pink, Forget-Me-Knot, and Buttercup.  Colour the pink flowers lightly with Vibrant Fuchsia, blue flowers with French Ultramarine and the yellow flowers with Buttercup inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour some of the blue flowers on the edges with Majestic Violet inks.  Shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and add Crystal Clear using Dries Clear on a damp sponge.

Stamp the button images from the HCPC-3859 Buttons and Bloom Stamp set on white cardstock cardstock in a variety of colours – Vibrant Pink, Forget-Me-Knot, and Buttercup.  Colour the pink buttons lightly with Vibrant Fuchsia, blue buttons with French Ultramarine and the yellow buttons with Buttercup ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Adhere the buttons to the centres of the flowers and add 3D Crystal Lacquer.

Die cut the tag from the paper collection using the HCS1-7202 Ticket and Tags die set and adhere to the left of the oval as shown.

A Pretty Feminine Happy Birthday Card

Welcome back to another Inspiration Wednesday and today I have a very pretty feminine birthday card with some delicate vellum flowers.

Instructions: Cut a piece of white cardstock 10″ x 7″, score at 5″ along the long side and fold to create a 5″ x 7″ base card. Cut a piece of blue patterned paper 5″ x 7″ and adhere to the front of the card. Cut the frame from the HCD2-7191 Intricate Swirls Frame Die in white cardstock and adhere to the front of the card with foam tape. Cut a 6″ x 4″ panel from the paper collection and adhere to the front of the frame. Add pearls to the edge of the paper.

Paint the mannequin with white gesso and then two coats of Pearl White paint. Add Frosting powder to the mannequin with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere the mannequin to the front of the card and finish with a pink bow.

Stamp the rose vine images from the HCPC-3834 Leafy Accents Stamp set in Library Green ink on white cardstock and colour in with Leaf Green and Fern Green inks before die cutting with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the leaves using Dries Clear glue with a damp sponge. Adhere the leaves around the base of the mannequin and the top right of the card.

Stamp the flower images in VersaMark ink on vellum and emboss with white embossing powder. Colour the images in a combination of Vibrant Fuchsia, Forget-Me-Knot and Buttercup inks before die cutting with the coordinating dies. Shape lightly and add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue and a damp sponge. Adhere over the leaves as shown.

Stamp the banner image and the Happy Birthday image from the HCPC-3851 Handstitched Accents Stamp set in Forget-Me-Knot ink on the zig zag patterned paper and die cut with the coordinating die. Nestle the dove tailed edge under the flowers on the top right of the card.

Windsor and Newton Artist Quality Watercolour, Schminke Watercolour, Watercolour paper, iCraft 27 g florist wire, Blue Crafter’s Companion Pearlescent card, iCraft Super White cardstock, Foam Dots

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 12” x 6”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create a 6” x 6” card.  Die cut the semi-circular medallion out of the blue pearlescent card and adhere to the left of the top of the card. Cut a piece of blue patterned paper 6”x 6 and adhere to the base card.   Cut a 6” x 6” panel and tear down about 1/3rd as shown to the left of the top.  Distress the edges and adhere to the blue patterned paper.  Roll the edges over and adhere down with Dries Clear glue.

Stamp the rose vine images from the HCPC-3834 Leafy Accents Stamp set in Library Green ink on white cardstock and colour in with Leaf Green and Fern Green inks before die cutting with the coordinating die.  Shape using the coordinating mold and when dry adhere around the opening of the paper and cascading down the card and to the bottom right.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms Stamp set in Fern Green ink on white cardstock.  Colour in with Leaf Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape lightly and adhere around the rose vine leaves.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3859 Buttons and Bloom Stamp set on the Super White cardstock in a variety of colours – Vibrant Pink, Forget-Me-Knot, and Buttercup.  Colour the pink flowers lightly with Vibrant Fuchsia, blue flowers with French Ultramarine and the yellow flowers with Buttercup inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour the blue flowers on the edges with Majestic Violet inks.  Shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and then adhere over the leaves as shown.

Stamp the button images from the HCPC-3859 Buttons and Bloom Stamp set on white cardstock in a variety of colours – Vibrant Pink, Forget-Me-Knot, and Buttercup, and Vermillion.  Colour the pink buttons lightly with Vibrant Fuchsia, blue buttons with French Ultramarine and the yellow buttons with Buttercup ink and the red buttons with Vermillion inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Adhere the buttons to the centres of the flowers and on the card around the flowers as shown.

Wind the florist wire around a small paintbrush and trim to adhere around the flowers with Dries Clear glue.

Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3851 Handstitched Accents Stamp set in Jet Black ink on watercolour paper.  Watercolour the image and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere to the card using foam dots.

This is such a fun collection and another must have for your craft collection.

Clear plastic pillow box, Hershey’s Chocolates, iCraft Flower Shaping Cardstock

Instructions:

Cut a piece of purple patterned paper 12” x 5” and using the lace edge die from the HCD1-7202 Album Tags and Accents Die set cut a lace edge on both edges of the paper.  Cut a piece of patterned paper 12” x 3” and adhere to the centre of the purple patterned paper.  Adhere around the pillow box.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms stamp set in Library Green ink on flower shaping cardstock, colour in with Fern Green, Leaf Green inks and Rose Madder inks before die cutting with the coordinating die.  Shape using the coordinating mold and assemble when dry and add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue.  Adhere on the band and the front of the card base as shown.

Stamp the flowers from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms stamp set in Majestic Violet and Rose Madder inks on white flower making cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Sponge the outer edges of the purple flowers with Majestic Violet ink and the middle of the flowers with Vivid Chartreuse ink and the pink flower edge with Rose Madder ink and the centres with Sunflower ink and shape using the coordinating mold.  Assemble when dry and add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers and the Lettuce Entertain You Prills to the centres of the purple flowers and Heart of Gold prills to the centres of the pink flowers.  Adhere the flowers to the leaves as shown.

Stamp the acorns from the HCPC-3840 Oakberry Cottage & Sentiments Stamp set in Coffee ink on white cardstock and colour with Coffee ink.  Die cut with the coordinating die, shape and adhere among the leaves and flowers as shown.

Die cut the small tag from the HCD1-7202 Album Tags and Accents Die set from the patterned paper and nestle it among the flowers.
