Soft Elegant Birthday Card – Green, White & Gold with Delicate Florals

Kia ora Koutou Crafting Friends

There’s something timeless about a soft colour palette paired with elegant details, and today’s birthday card combines all of those beautiful elements together. Featuring gentle shades of soft green, white, and touches of gold, this design has a delicate, feminine feel with layers of texture and dimension.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

Design Inspiration

The background begins with a beautiful intricate lacy background die adding softness and that delicate detail that always makes a card feel extra special. Layered over the top is a quilting die over a gold lacy edged die that creates subtle texture and interest while keeping the overall design clean and refined.

The floral arrangement brings in soft blue blooms that create a lovely contrast against the green and white tones. The flowers add a feminine touch and gives added depth and dimension. Small pearl embellishments are added to the background die and the front quilted panel allowing the card to come together and also highlight the geometric design.

Hints of gold throughout the card add warmth and sophistication without overpowering the soft colour palette. The combination of the quilted texture, intricate lace details, delicate florals, and pearls creates a design that feels classic and graceful.

For this card, I wanted to create something soft and elegant that would work beautifully for a birthday celebration while still feeling timeless. Combining texture with delicate details helps create interest while keeping the overall look light and balanced.

Finishing Touches

  • Soft blue flowers for dimension and a feminine touch
  • Pearl accents that highlight the geometric design
  • Gold details for warmth and elegance
  • Quilted texture panel that brings to focus to the die cut sentiment
  • Intricate lacy die cut to add interest to the background
  • Elegant gold die cut sentiment is the focal point of the card
  • A touch of sparkle with blue irridescent gems in the centre of the flowers and highlighting the sentiment.

Final Thoughts

Sometimes a soft colour palette says everything. The combination of gentle greens, delicate blues, elegant gold accents, and textured layers creates a birthday card that feels both sophisticated and heartfelt — perfect for celebrating a special day.

All The Best Card – Elegant White-on-White with Purple & Pink Florals

Kia ora Koutou Crafty Friends

Today I’m sharing an All The Best card featuring one of my favourite combinations — elegant white-on-white layers with soft pops of colour from handmade flowers. White-on-white designs always have a timeless feel, and adding texture and dimension creates interest while keeping the overall look clean and sophisticated.

For this card, I wanted the florals to be the focal point, so I kept the base soft and neutral while building texture through layered die cuts and embossing details.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

Design Inspiration

White-on-white designs are a wonderful way to showcase texture. By combining embossed details, layered elements, and dimensional florals, you can create visual interest without needing lots of colour or pattern.

Adding a soft colour palette through flowers allows the design to stay elegant while introducing warmth and personality.

Design Details

  • Crisp white layers create a clean and classic backdrop
  • Use a a decorative die to emboss the backround to add interest without overwhelming the design. The added texture gives beautiful depth and catches the light, creating subtle detail while maintaining the elegant monochromatic style.
  • A decorative frame allows the focus to be on the sentiment and also creates the structure for placement of the flowers.
  • The addition of an oval vellum backing to the decorative frame grounds the frame without overwhelming the embossed background
  • The handmade flowers in shades of purple and pink become the star of the design. The soft colour palette creates a lovely contrast against the white background while still feeling delicate and cohesive. Layering the flowers adds fullness and dimension, helping the arrangement feel natural and balanced. The floral cluster was arranged to frame the sentiment and guide the eye across the card design. Finishing details help bring everything together and add those special touches that make handmade cards unique.
  • A stamped sentiment on a beautiful decorative label die in the centre of the frame adds a touch of elegance to the card
  • Some pearls to highlight the decorative dies and some small gems around the flowers are the perfect finishing touches to this card.

Final Thoughts

I love how this card feels both classic and feminine. The combination of textured white layers and soft purple and pink florals creates a design that would be perfect for celebrating new adventures, achievements, or simply sending encouraging wishes.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope this project inspires you to experiment with white-on-white backgrounds and add pops of colour with beautiful floral details in your own creations.

Mother’s Day Mason Jar Shaker Card

Kia ora Koutou

There’s something so timeless about a soft blue and white palette with hints of silver —especially when paired with delicate florals and a touch of shimmer. Today’s Mother’s Day card combines all of those elements with a charming mason jar shaker feature, creating a design that feels both elegant and full of life.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

💡 Design Inspiration

This card was inspired by the idea of capturing flowers in a keepsake jar—like a little moment preserved just for Mum. The shaker element adds a playful twist, while the soft colours keep everything feeling gentle and meaningful.

The focal point of this card is a sweet mason jar filled with handcrafted flowers, brought to life with a shaker element that adds movement and sparkle. Tiny sequins float inside, catching the light beautifully and giving the card a soft, celebratory feel—perfect for honouring someone special.

The background is kept clean and classic with layers of silver and an embossed soft blue background while a white intricate decorative die cut frame allows the flowers in the jar and the die cut sentiment to shine. These background layers add depth and texture, framing the shaker jar while keeping the overall look refined and balanced. A scattering of pearls across the card ties everything together and adds that extra hint of elegance.

✂️ Design Highlights

  • Soft blue and white colour palette with silver accents for a classic, calming look
  • Mason jar shaker element filled with sequins and delicate sparkle
  • Handcrafted floral arrangement for a feminine, heartfelt touch
  • Decorative die cuts to add layers and dimension
  • Subtle embellishing with pearls for a polished finish
  • A simple die cut sentiment on a band of vellum ties the whole card together
  • A pretty blue ribbon bow with a pearl accent gives the card a feminine finishing touch

Final Thoughts

Shaker cards always bring a little extra joy, and pairing that with soft florals and elegant details makes this design perfect for Mother’s Day. It’s a lovely way to create something interactive while still keeping a timeless, graceful style.
