Amazing Paper Grace Holiday Medley Merry Filigree Card Builder Slimline Card

This magical menagerie of dies helps celebrate one of the most festive times of the year through paper crafting! The Holiday Medley Collection consists of eight die sets and a Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Set that coordinates with one of the die sets. The array of dies can be mixed within existing die sets to offer more creative options. These include the Make a Scene Card Base and 3D Vignettes. The versatile new Merry Filigree Card Builder, Celebrate Scrollwork Card Builder and Joy Crescent Card Builder sets create different card formats from A2, A7, Mini Slimline, to Slimline. In addition, you can remove the Christmas Motifs and use them year-round. Visit each of the designers’ blogs for inspiration and ideas from the Holiday Medley Collection!

Today’s projects were created with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

I am using the Amazing Paper Grace Merry Filigree Card Builder Etched Dies from the Holiday Medley Collection by Becca Feeken to create a very pretty and elegant slimline card.

I

Have you started your Christmas cards yet? I am really loving the new Holiday Medley dies that have just been released by Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken. This year I have decided to go with non-traditional colours for my cards and I absolutely love this blue and white combination of colours.

Here I have layered the white decorative dies over pale blue cardstock. I have added a narrow white panel using the inner dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Hemstitch Slimline Etched Dies from Sweet Cardlets II Collection by Becca Feeken before adding the central sentiment. I trimmed the outer circle from the silver die before offsetting behind the white sentiment. To complete my card I had added a pop of colour with the holly and ivy.

Designers Tip:

Mix and match Amazing Paper Grace dies to create beautiful layers on your cards.

These dies and plates are available from Spellbinders right now! Click here: Holiday Medley Collection.

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes I Heartfelt Thanks

Beautiful card front sentiments do the heavy lifting on a card and the recipient knows exactly what you are trying to say. In that spirit, today we are introducing a new collection called Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes. It spins beautiful, intertwined calligraphic words into a compact label shape, perfect for the front of your card.

Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Inspiration

Many Amazing Paper Grace followers were so thrilled when the first 3D Vignettes with word inserts came out. Over time, our followers have asked for a greater variety of words to fit into the 3D Vignette apertures. Your wish is our command!

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection

The Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection is made up of 7 different die sets and a stamp set. Most sets contain a sentiment and a filigree background layer. Each set makes it quite easy to produce a complete card. The bonus is the sentiment shapes each match an existing 3D Vignette. Along with being able to complete a card, the new sentiments will allow another sentiment to existing 3D Vignettes already in your stash. Romantic Chargeour works with all the sentiments.

Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection also contains an “inside” sentiment set that matches the thought on the outside of the card. To top off the collection we’ve included Petite Floral Potpourri. It’s a compilation of all the small flowers and leaves that are most requested by our community.

My Projects for Today

For my projects I’m using the Amazing Paper Grace Heartfelt Thanks Vignette Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken decorated with some pretty flowers made with the gorgeous flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken.

I love how you can mix and match Amazing Paper Grace dies to create beautiful cards. Here I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Annabelle’s Trousseau Layering Frame Medium Etched Dies Chantilly Paper Lace Collection by Becca Feeken as a background to the Amazing Paper Grace Heartfelt Thanks Vignette Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken. To finish I have added the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Twist Ovals Etched Dies from the Elegant Twist Collection by Becca Feeken to frame the sentiment.

I have used Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken to create some wisterias to finish the card. The leaves are from the Amazing Paper Grace Sweet Cottage Flowers Etched Dies 3D Vignette Mini Album Collection by Becca Feeken. There will be a tutorial on how I have made these flowers on the Amazing Paper Grace – Encouragement Group on Facebook here.

Designers Tip:

Have fun mixing and matching Amazing Paper Grace dies to create flowers to create your cards..

To make the berries stamp the smaller poinsettia images from the HCPC-3957 Large Festive Poinsettia Cling Stamp Set and the HCPC-3958 Small Festive Poinsettia Cling Stamp Set in Mulberry ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper.  Colour the stamens that come with the flowers with Vermillion ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape using the coordinating mold and add Red Berry Nuvo Drops to the images.  When dry add a small splash of Simply White Nuvo Drops to create a highlight.  Add to the bottom right and top left as shown with foam squares.
