Amazing Paper Grace Pretty in Pink Birthday Daisies

I love playing with Amazing Paper Grace flower dies as there are so many options to choose from. The Layered Fleur Bouquet collection is such a fun collection as the flowers are so easy to make and you can choose so many different colour options. Today I have made a card using the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Daisies and coloured them in shades of pink and yellow to complement the ink blended background. The reverse gold hot foiled sentiment works well with the pink flowers and green leaves and to finish the card I have added some sweet butterflies.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my project today I have created a top folding 5″ x 7″ card. I have added a mat of gold cardstock and then ink blended a slightly smaller card with Distress Oxide inks – Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry. I splattered some gold paint on it and than adhered it to the gold card front.

I die cut the all the layers of the Amazing Paper Grace Cascading Grace dies out of white cardstock and made sure that I also embossed the dies for an extra decorative finish. I layered all the dies over the pink base.

I die cut all the flowers and leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Daisies dies out of white cardstock and coloured the daisies in shades of pink with a touch of yellow, and the leaves in shades of green – inks listed below. I assembled the daisies and added some Go Man Go Prills to the centre of the open flowers for more dimension to the flowers. Once everything was dry I added the flowers and leaves to the front of the card leaving room for the sentiment.

I reverse hot foiled the sentiment using matte gold foil using the birthday sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Occasions Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and die cut it out with the coordinating die before adding it to the centre of the card with foam tape.

To finish the card I made two butterflies out of vellum using the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motif dies. These butterflies were coloured with Distress Oxide inks – Squeezed Lemonade, Saltwater Taffy and Kitsch Flamingo and I have dabbed some gold glitter Lunar Paste for some glittery shine. The butterflies were added to the top right and the bottom left of the card.

Pink Fresh Studio Garden Roses Pocket Card

Kia ora Koutou

Today I am sharing a card that has a pocket inside that is just right for a gift voucher to give to someone special to say thank you. This card design could also be used for birthday and Christmas as well and is very easy to make. I was inspired for this card by a card that Pink Fresh Studio Influencer Yasmin Diaz created on Instagram. I have switched it up and turned it around and made the pocket for the gift voucher rather than for another smaller card like Yasmin has done.

My project

I have created a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ base card that is side folding. I have created three layers of lacey edges for the front using the lacey edge die from the Lacey Edges 1 die on the front of the card. I then added a panel in the front of the card and embossed it with the Stained Glass Die for more texture. For the inside of the card. I have cut a piece of white cardstock 5 3/8″ x 4 5/8″, scored at 2 1/2″ aong the long side and folded it to create a pocket. I have glued down the edges and then adhered the pocket to the inside of the card. I then added an embossed panel 2 3/8″ x 5 1/4″ to the front of the pocket.

I stamped the image from the Garden Rose Stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I coloured the images with pink and green inks using the coordinating stencils and then die cut with the matching die. I also cut another plain die to adhere the coloured image on top. I trimmed the roses to fit the front and inside back of the card as shown.

I hot foiled the sentiments from the Perfect Sentiment Hot Foil plate and die cut them out with the coordinating die. I also die cut another plain die to add the foiled sentiment on top. I then adhered the ‘Just a note’ sentiment to the top left of the card and the ‘thank you’ sentiment to the bottom right of the inside back.

To finish I have added some gold pearls around the sentiments.

Amazing Paper Grace Birthday Roses

I have another birthday card to share with you today featuring some fabulous old and new Amazing Paper Grace dies. Becca’s dies have such a timeless elegance to them and I love to mix and match them to create beautiful and elegant cards. Today I have mixed a gorgeous filigree border die from the Amazing Paper Grace Bella Clair Border Dies with the Amazing Paper Grace Hemstitch Rectanges Dies and the stunning floral frame from the Amazing Paper Grace Tallulah Frill Dies to create a beautiful base card for a handcrafted floral bouquet. The elegant sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Occasions Hot Foil Sentiments was perfect to finish the card.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

I have created a base card of 5 1/2″ x 6″ and layered some pearlised white card. I have then added the decorative borders to the side of the card before adding the rectangles from the Hemstitch Rectanges Dies to the centre of the card. To finish the card base I have die cut three pretty floral borders from the Tallulah Frill Dies, stacked them together and then added them to the centre of the rectangle.

I have made the ferns from using the stems from the Primrose Heart Facade Dies and the leaves from the Layered Cherry Blossoms Dies which I have cooured using Copic markers. I have handcrafted the roses and leaves using special flower shaping paper using dies from the Candlewick Rosebuds Dies and the sepals are from the Cinch and Go Flowers III Dies. The blue flowers are from the Petite Floral Potpourri Dies and

To finish I added a silver hot foiled sentiment from the Elegant Occasions Hot Foil Sentiments and some pearls to the centres of the flowers on the decorative die.

A video tutorial is coming shortly to my YouTube channel.

Amazing Paper Grace Floral Garden Birthday

I am getting low on birthday cards and I was inspired to create this birthday day from a card I saw on Instagram. I loved that it was all white with a pop of colour in a circle with sweet birds on an ink blended background. My family are big cat lovers and today I have mixed and matched different flower and leaf dies with the sweet little cat from the Amazing Paper Grace Make a Scene collection by Becca Feeken to create a lovely garden scene of flowers with a cute little cat amongst them. This card is quite easy to make and you could use so many different motifs to personalise the card to your tastes. I am fairly new to ink blending and I had so much fun with it and was really pleased with the result.

I will have a video tutorial on my YouTube channel shortly and will link it here when done.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card today I have created a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ top hinged base card from white cardstock. I have added a frame using the Amazing Paper Grace Rectangle Fluted Classics Dies with foam tape. I then die cut a circle using the circle die from the Amazing Paper Grace Circle Fluted Classics Dies out of masking paper and then added this to some spare white cardstock. I ink blended the circle using light blue, yellow and green inks and then die cut the panel out using the inner die from the frame and inserted inside the frame. I die cut three circle frames using the small circle dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Circle Fluted Classics Dies from white cardstock. I added one frame to the ink blended circle then stacked two circle frames together before adding them to the frame on the card with foam squares.

I then die cut all the flowers from coloured cardstock as well as the leaves and flower stalks and the cat using dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Rolling Along Scene Dies and the Picture Perfect Windows Scene Dies I added the stalks and leaves to the inside of the circle with the leaves flowing over the edge. I added the flowers and popped the little cat among the flowers with a foam square.

I die cut three sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace Celebrations Scene Dies, stacked them together and adhered them under the circle.

To finish I have made a vellum butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motifs Dies and added it to the frame of the circle as shown.

Amazing Paper Grace Hugs and Lilies

Today is Mother’s Day and today I want to acknowledge all those people who do not have a mother or maternal figure in their lives, the women who are unable to have children or those who have lost children and/or whose children are no longer in their lives for any reason. I am sending hugs to you all with this card made using the beautiful, elegant and timeless Amazing Paper Grace dies. I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Braided Grace Square dies as a base for stunning handcrafted lilies from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms and some sweet butterflies.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card I have created a base card of 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ out of white cardstock. I have layered the base with gold and ivory pearl cardstock with the top ivory layer being embossed with the Amazing Paper Grace Orange Peel 3D Embossing Folder. I have then die cut a frame out of the ivory pearl cardstock from the Amaz0–12-0)uyq. I die cut three decorative frames – two from ivory pearl cardstock and one from gold cardstock. I adhered them together with the gold layer slightly offset and added this to the plain frame and added it to the cardfront. I then adhered three inner pieces together and added them to the front as shown. I die cut two braided accents from pearl cardstock, adhered them together and then added them to the front. I die cut four sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace August 2022 Die of the Month – Peekaboo Trellis – three from ivory pearl cardstock and one from gold cardstock. I stacked these together with the gold on top and adhered them to the centre of the frame.

I die cut the leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Sweet Cottage Flowers die, coloured and shaped them and added them to the top left and bottom right of the frame. I handcrafted the flowers using the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Grand Cinch and Go Flowers Dies and adhered them over the leaves. I added gold accents from the Amazing Paper Grace August 2022 Die of the Month – Peekaboo Trellis and to finish I added two vellum butterflies from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motif Dies.

I have a video on how I have made this card and flowers on my YouTube channel here:
