I have another Kiwi Christmas card to share with you today that features a gorgeous Tui using a stamp from Montarga Rubber Stamps. The Tui looks black but the colours when up close are purple/blue, green and bronze iridescent colours but as I am still learning about Copic markers I have stuck to blues and purple colours. You can find more on the Tui here.
I have used a range of Heartfelt Creations, Amazing Paper Grace and Honey Bee Stamps products to make this card and I was very happy with the result. I love how the tui on the flax branch just organically rises up from the poinsettia and Christmas foliage. I have die cut the leaf image from the Amazing Paper Grace Grand Cinch and Go Flowers in silver to represent the silver fern and make it uniquely New Zealand.

I have another soft and romantic card full of pearls and lace to share with you today featuring the beautiful Amazing Paper Grace March 2022 Die of the Month – Bella Ovalette. I have been going through my stash of papers and dies and found this absolutely beautiful pearl embossed paper that my daughter had bought for me from Sydney many years ago. It is such a soft and pretty silver/blue colour and was perfect as the background to the stunning dies. Everything is included in this Bella Ovalette die set including the flowers and leaves and all I needed to add extra was the sentiment from Beccy’s Place. Lots of different layers on top of the embossed paper makes this card so ‘amazing’ in real life.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my card I have made a top folding 5″ x 7″ card out of white cardstock. I trimmed the blue/silver paper to 4 7/8″ x 6 7/8″ and added it to the front of the card.
I die cut the one decorative base out of white cardstock using the large decorative frame and then die cut two decorative frames using the decorative frame and the inner rectangle frame from white cardstock. These were stacked together and then added to the card front. I then die cut 4 decorative rectangles using the plain rectangle die, the middle decorative die and the inner plain die out of white cardstock. I stacked these together and added them inside the larger decorative frame.
I die cut two inner decorative accents using the small accent die and the circle die and adhered them together.
Using the decorative accent as a guide for placement I stamped the sentiment from Beccy’s Place on one of the discarded inner panels from the rectangle dies using Tuxedo Black ink. This stamped inner panel was then added to the inside of the rectangle frames.
I die cut the flowers out of soft flower shaping paper and coloured one set with light blue ink and the other set with light yellow inks. After spritzing the petals with water I shaped them using a small and medium ball stylus on foam mats. Once dry these were arranged on the bottom right and the top left of the rectangle frame as shown.
I die cut the leaves from the light green cardstock and added them around the flowers as shown.
To finish I added pearls to the flower centres and on the die cuts.
Today I have a masculine card that is perfect for those who love BMW cars. I was asked to do a BMW themed card for my husband’s colleague and I ended up making two cards for her to choose from with a BMW theme and this was one of the cards. I have used the BMW colours Black, Blue and White (although the blue is not exact) to create this card and the Heartfelt Creations French Courtyard Dies was perfect to frame an approximation of the BMW Logo. I added some more shine and sophistication to the card with a silver hot foiled sentiment from Spellbinders and I also added a sentiment to the inside of the card to make this an extra special card. The BMW logo has been made using a combination of the Heartfelt Creations Basic Circle Dies – Large and Small and the Heartfelt Creations Letters and Numbers Dies and I was very happy with how it turned out. This card is really quite dramatic and perfect for anyone men or women who are into this brand of car.

I have a cute birthday card to share with you today that I made for someone special. They have this lovely dog so I thought that I would make a card with a fence with lots of flowers and a dog kennel and dog in front of it. I had a lot of fun doing all the layered flowers and foliage and it turned out rather lovely I thought and it was well received which is good.

Today I am sharing a card that I have created for a challenge in a Facebook group I belong to and the challenge is to create a card featuring a snow globe from any company’s designs. Of course I had to go to Amazing Paper Grace and the Let It Snowman dies from the Christmas Flourishes Collection by Becca Feeken. The colour combination on this card has been inspired by a card I saw on Instagram. I don’t normally put gold accents with soft blue and white but this combination really does work. This die set is an A2 set by I have made this A5 to really show up the embossed background I have created.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
To make my card I have created a side opening 5″ x 7″ card from white cardstock. I have added a piece of 5″ x 7″ Snowdrift card to the front of the card to coordinate with my die cuts. I then cut a piece of soft blue cardstock 4 7/8″ x 6 7/8″ and added it to the front. I cut a piece of vellum the same size and embossed it with the Holly Flourish Embossing Folder. Before adding the vellum to the front of the card I die cut three frames from the Amazing Paper Grace Let it Snowman A2 Card Front Dies out of Snowdrift cardstock and some snow flakes from some white glitter paper I had in my stash. I stacked the three frames together and added them to the embossed vellum. I added some snowflakes above the frame. I then added some glue behind the snowflakes and frame and added the vellum to the front of the card.
I die cut the main body of the snowman out of Snowdrift cardstock and then added gold to the back of the body and trimmed it to fit. I hot foiled Opal foil to some blue cardstock and then die cut the hat and some snowflakes out of the lovely shiny blue card. The accents were die cut from gold cardstock and the nose from orange cardstock. I assembled the snowman and added it inside the frame.
I die cut the sentiment from Snowdrift and gold cardstocks, assembled them and added them to the base of the frame.
I added the blue snowflakes to the frame and more white glitter snowflakes to the centre of the frame around the snowman as shown.
To finish I added gold pearls to the frame, snowflakes and the snowman.
Today I am sharing a card I made for my brother-in-law for his birthday. He is a keen sailor and loves the ocean so I made a special card for him using a combination of Heartfelt Creations Sea Breeze and Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers dies. The Heartfelt Creations Ornate Window Cling stamp and coordinating die set is one I use a lot and here I have created an ornate window frame looking out onto a seascape with a light house and finished it with dogwood flowers and a cute bird.
My Project
I have made a side folding 5″ x 7″ base card out of white cardstock. I then layered gold and light green paper on the front.
I stamped the light house image from the Heartfelt Creations Sea Breeze Harbour cling stamp set on X-Press It card and coloured it with Copic markers. I stamped a plain image of Magic Masking Paper and trimmed it to cover the image I had coloured. I then ink blended some sky in the background using the Waffle Flower Cloud Stencil and ink blended the sea with pale yellow and blue inks. I then die cut it out with the plain window die from the Heartfelt Creations Ornate Window Frame cling stamp set and adhered it to the front of the card.
I then stamped the window frame image twice from the Heartfelt Creations Ornate Window Frame Cling stamp on gold cardstock and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I die cut one full frame including the window panes and the window, and one ornate heading from these images. I glued the window to some acetate and then trimmed to fit the window. I added the outside decorative frame to the front of the coloured image with foam tape and then added the window inside the frame.
I die cut the bird from the Honey Bee Stamps: Lovely Layers – Spring Birds Honey Cuts using grey, black and white colours to represent seagulls and added it to the top right of the window frame. I then die cut the dogwood flowers from the Honey Bee Stamps: Lovely Layers – Dogwood Honey Cuts and assembled them and added them to the bottom left of the window frame.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamps Mini Sentiments Stamp set in Jet Black ink on white cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die. This was added to the window frame as shown.

I have been going through my considerable stash of dies that I have and I decided it was time to start using them in my cards. I have also been going through my cardstock stash and discovered some very pretty cardstock that I have forgotten about. Once again my card has been inspired by one that Becca Feeken has done but I have put my own twist in it by using slightly different dies and cardstock. I love the bright and summery colours I have used and that this card can be mailed easily as it is flat.
My project
I have created a top folding 6″ x 6″ base card out of heavy pearlescent cardstock. I then layered yellow and pearlescent cardstock to create the base for the decorative dies. I die cut layers out of pearlescent and yellow cardstock using the dies from the A2 Scalloped Borders One Dies from Spellbinders. I have slightly decreased the size of the top two layers to create some interest.
I die cut a large and medium label from the Amazing Paper Grace Francesca Labels – the larger label from yellow cardstock and the smaller from pearlescent card stock and these were added to the top of the card. I then die cut the band using the die from the Spellbinders Romantic Agenda set out of pearlescent card stock and then added some yellow cardstock behind it. I die cut two small ovals from the Spellbinders Floral Ovals die – one from pearlescent cardstock and one from yellow. I removed the little stars from the pearlescent oval and added the yellow oval behind so the yellow stars would show. I then added this oval behind the embossed oval on the band. This was then added to the card over the base of the labels as shown.
I reverse hot foiled the sentiment from the Spellbinders Be Bold Glimmer Sentiment in gold and die cut with the coordinating die. I die cut two extra plain dies and stacked them together with the foiled sentiment on top. This was added to the top of the card as shown.
I die cut flowers and leaves from the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms from blue, yellow and green cardstock. I die cut the leaf accents out of gold cardstock and then added the flowers and leaves to the top left of the card and peeking out of the bottom right of the band.
I die cut two butterflies from the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters Dies out of pearlescent, yellow and gold cardstock, assembled them and adhered them to the card as shown.
To finish I added pearls to the centre of the band, around the sentiment and the top corners.

Today I am channeling my inner Becca Feeken with a beautiful wedding card made by layering gorgeous Amazing Paper Grace dies. I have always been a big fan of Becca’s designs and how she has used different dies together and added gold accents and this card has been inspired by one of her designs using the Amazing Paper Grace Hannah Elise Layering Frame dies from the Chantilly Lace collection. I have added a decorative tone on tone background to the card with the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month September 2020 Lattice Quadrangle and then added a pretty romantic rose, a pearl encrusted bow, some foliage, a sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace All Occasions Sentiments and lots of pearls to finish with a stunning wedding card that is a gift in itself. I also wanted the floral embellishments to look like a rose with seed pearl decorations adorning the bride’s hair and to me I feel I have achieved this.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
I have made a top folding 6″ x 6″ card base out of white cardstock. I layered gold and cream cardstock to the front to make the base for the embellishments. I die cut two decorative background dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month September 2020 out of cream cardstock, adhered them together and then added it to the front of the card.
I die cut a base from cream cardstock and two decorative dies using the Amazing Paper Grace Hannah Elise Layering Frame dies – one from gold cardstock and one from cream cardstock. I stacked these together and added the decorative frame to the cream base using foam strips. I added the gold centre decorative die to the inside of the frame.
I die cut two frames from the Amazing Paper Grace All Occasions Sentiments – one from gold and one from cream cardstocks. I trimmed the gold die down the centre lengthways and adhered both sides behind the cream die ensuring the gold is slightly offset behind the cream die. I then adhered this to the centre of the gold decorative frame. I stamped the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace All Occasions Sentiments in Wow embossing ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I then die cut the sentiment out using the small rectangle die from the Amazing Paper Grace All Occasions Sentiments. This was matted with gold cardstock and adhered to the front of the sentiment frame.
I die cut the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Double Bow and Flowers dies from cream cardstock and assembled the dies to create a bow. I added pearls to the centre of the bow and then added the bow to the top of the sentiment die.
I die cut, coloured, shaped and assembled a single rose from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud dies. I used Peachy Keen, Rosey Posey and Magenta Hues to colour the rose. I die cut two leaves from the same die set and adhered them to the bottom of the sentiment die as shown. I then adhered the rose over the leaves in the centre.
I die cut several small sprays from the Amazing Paper Grace Fall Label Motifs Dies out of gold cardstock. I added small pearls to some of the sprays and added them around the green leaves along with some plain gold sprays.
To finish I added some pearls to the corners and on the dies as shown.

I have been having so much fun making New Zealand themed Christmas cards using a wide range of different products and I am so happy with how they turned out. My card today features the New Zealand native bird the Fantail or the Piwakwaka in Te Reo. This is a very cute little bird and we have a lot around where I live by native bush and they are almost impossible to photograph as they are always flitting around without stopping. You can find out more about the birds here. This is another stamp that I purchased from Montarga Rubber Stamps in Christchurch which I have coloured with Copic Markers. I thinks this card was my favourite as I just loved how all the colours came together.

I have another birthday card to share with you using more of the clematis flowers that I made last week for my YouTube channel. Once again I have used a die that I have had in my stash for many years. I love dies that have ornate decorative features and lots of lattice and this die from Sue Wilson – Striplets – Lattice Window is one that I will never give away. I love making layers to create dimension and depth and here I have die cut several times to get the dimension I wanted and was able to use all the die cuts with no waste. Another bonus. I have also started going through my cardstock stash and begun using my old stock up. Another bonus! Overall I was really happy with how this card turned out.
My Project
For my card I have created a side folding 5″ x 7″ card out of white cardstock. I then layered up white pearlescent cardstock to create the base for the decorative dies. I die cut three lattice windows out of the pearlescent card. I stacked three outer frames together and added it to the centre of the card. I die cut the lattice inner using the left over inner panels and adhered them to the centre and sides of the decorative lattice window.
I die cut three ‘hello’ dies – two from scrap pearlescent card and one from silver card. I stacked the sentiments together with the silver on top and then adhered it to the bottom right of the decorative windows.
I hot foiled the sentiment using silver holographic foil on pearlescent card and die cut it with the coordinating die. I matted the sentiment using silver metallic cardstock and added it below the ‘hello’ sentiment with some foam tape.
I then made the leaves and flowers (see video below my list of products I have used) and adhered them to the card as shown.
