My Project for Today
For my 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card I have layered pale blue and white for a simple classic background and labels and I then added flowers and leaves in some pretty colours. I have carried those colours through to the butterfly to give a cohesive look and balance to the card. The sentiment finishes the card nicely.

My Project for Today
I have created a 5″ x 7″ base card and used the Amazing Paper Grace Sweet Leaf Mini Slimline Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken to die cut the aperture. I then die cut another separate decorative leaf die out of gold cardstock and adhere it behind the white decorative die slightly offsetting it. I have cut a piece of acetate to fit behind these dies and made gold frames for both the front and the inside front of the card. The acetate helps to strengthen the card.
I have an exclusive step by step photo tutorial on how I have created the lilies for members of the Amazing Paper Grace – Creative Encouragement Group. Ask to join this wonderful community to view this tutorial and many other tutorials to inspire your creativity. (And don’t forget to answer the questions to get accepted. I look forward to seeing you there!).
I have used acetate behind the leafy die to help strengthen the card.
The gold decorative die just peeps out from behind the white leaves.
The gold frame front and back helps to finish the leafy die and anchor it into the card.
I have sponged the leaves with green ink for some depth and dimension.
These Amazing Paper Grace Dies are available from Spellbinders right now. Click here: Amazing Paper Grace.
I have added texture using the Spellbinders Forever Green embossing folder and die cut the label in the centre out using the smaller label die from the Amazing Paper Grace Winter Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken and then added the frame to the card front using foam tape. This has created a recess for the decorated inner label to fit into. I then die cut a frame using the outer and inner label die out of the blue cardstock to create a frame for the inner decorated scene.
I have ink blended the background for the centre to create a snowy background.
I have used two different colour greens to create some depth to the trees.
The small house has been die cut out of white and blue cardstock and I trimmed the smoke of the house of the blue die and added it to the white die. And adding the white windows and white roof has helped to give some dimension to the house and enabled it to stand out from the trees and fence.
This tag is great to add to a gift for Christmas or just because…
I have die cut the outside label using white cardstock and then die cut a frame using the outer and inner label die out of the blue cardstock to create a frame for the inner decorated scene.
For my second card I have added the blue decorative dies from the beautiful Amazing Paper Grace Anabelle’s Trousseau Layering Frame Medium die by Becca Feeken to the blue background and added some silver accents to create more interest.
I have adhered the blue sentiment to the silver sentiment and slightly offset the sentiments to create a shadow on the card.
Clear iridescent jewels add some sparkle to the card.
Butterflies are always welcome on a floral bouquet.
The labels are perfect to add to a pretty base and add the sentiment of your choices.
I have seen so many cards on Instagram and Pinterest using acetate windows and I was thrilled to see the Amazing Paper Grace August 2022 Die of the Month – Peekaboo Trellis Panels. There is something magical having a see through effect on a card and this die set is just fabulous for this finish.
My Projects
For my projects today I have made a very pretty card and a bookmark to coordinate. Once again I have used a white on white combination with a pop of pink and green. For my card I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Romantic Slimline Borders Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken to create a lace border to highlight the gorgeous insert die which I have placed horizontally on the card. I have used alcohol markers to colour the flowers and finished with green and gold leaves.
Today’s creations were created with the dies supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.
There are 13 cutting dies included in the Peekaboo Trellis Panels.
I have used a mix of green and gold leaves to help the pink pop on the white background.
To create the base card I have cut a piece of white cardstock 10′ x 7″, scored at 5″ along the long side and folded it to create a base card. I have then die cut the insert horizontally on the front of the card. I cut a piece of acetate to adhere on the back of the insert to provide some strength and after adding the lace strips I have added gold strips to tidy up the edges on the front and back.
The sentiment has been stacked with two white and one gold layer to help it stand out.
I have used the flick method to colour the flowers with alcohol markers.
I have die cut two leaf inserts – one out of gold and one out of white cardstock. I then adhered the white die over the gold die and slightly offset the gold to have a hint of gold.
For the flowers I have cut the outside layer from white cardstock and then die cut a white layer and coloured the small pieces before layering on the base. I die cut a white outside decorative flower to adhere over the top.

It has been a while since I made some beautiful flowers using Amazing Paper Grace flower dies and I was going through withdrawal symptoms! So today I have a beautiful birthday card full of pretty flowers to share with you. The birthday sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Happy Occasion Words Etched Dies from the Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken was perfect to go with these flowers. This die set is from the Amazing Paper Grace The Right Words Collection which has a number of different sentiments for so many different occasions. The sentiment really makes a statement on this card and who wouldn’t love to receive this card!
Today’s projects were used with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.
I have used a glitter paste for the stencil in the middle of the frame and this helps the sentiment to really stand out.
I have die cut three layers of the sentiment – two from white cardstock and one from gold cardstock. I then stacked the layers together before adhering them to the card. This helps the sentiment to really stand out.
I have added some yellow jewels to the centres of the pink flowers for a bit of sparkle.
Butterlies are the perfect accompaniment for a floral card.
I love using pastel colours for my flowers and try to have a range of different colours that coordinate for a harmonious finish.
I have sprinkled Crystal Ultrafine glitter to the flowers after painting the flowers with clear gloss gel medium.
These dies and plates are available from Spellbinders right now! Click here: The Right Words Collection.
