Amazing Paper Grace Garden Shutters Collection – You’re Are In My Heart

Don’t you love interactive cards? Amazing Paper Grace has added the Garden Shutters Collection for another fun element of motion. It creates a beautiful card and with one pull of a tab, the shutters open to reveal a delightful surprise sentiment on the other side! There are two card base sizes, A2 and 5 x 7-inch, to choose from. Each card base set has all the elements you need to assemble and embellish a card! Which catches your eye? Also, as a bonus there is a beautiful decorative die set that works with shutter dies and a fabulous flower die set.

Today’s projects were created with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

Today I am using the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Eyelet Lace Frame Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken. I have decorated the card with flowers and leaves made from the Amazing Paper Grace Primrose Heart Façade Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken. There is a tutorial on how I have created these flowers at the Amazing Paper Grace – Encouragement Group on Facebook.

To create the ethereal sparkling butterflies I have die cut the base butterfly out of clear acetate and then use holographic paper to create the wings.

With Valentine’s Day coming up I have added the sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace Primrose Heart Façade Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken. What a lovely card to give to someone very special.

Designers Tip:

Experiment with different colour cardstocks and inks to create beautiful flowers the easy way.

Amazing Paper Grace | Classically Becca Collection Intro Blog Hop

I am so excited for the release of the Amazing Paper Grace Classically Becca collection by Becca Feeken. These dies are just well so classic Becca… Lots of lace, flowers and different shapes for layering and building up cards.

Today I have three cards to share with you in three different styles to show you how versatile these dies are.

Today’s projects were created with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

I have used the Amazing Paper Grace With Love Regalia Card Builder Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken. I love making wedding cards and first up I have made a clean and simple card with some very simple flowers to embellish the card. This card is A2 – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. The lace background is so beautiful and so versatile. I have added some glitter to the sentiment over 3D Crystal Lacquer for a sparkly finish.

My second card is a slimline card. I have added a touch of silver peeking through and used two of my favourite layering dies to create some interest in the card. These sweet little flowers remind me of trumpet flowers flowing over a fence.

And my final card is a dimensional card made with handcrafted flowers on a base of all over lace. So beautiful for a wedding card. I have added a gorgeous lacy edge on each side of the card that highlights the pretty lace panel in the middle of the card. I have made the flowers using the new Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken and I love the stamen dies that come with this set. I think the flowers look like peonies and are such a pretty colour. Once again I have used silver accents to make this card extra special. This card is an A7 5″ x 7″

A Happy Birthday with Pink Fresh Studio

Kia Ora Koutou

I have long admired Pink Fresh Studio and their gorgeous images, fabulous layering stencils, hot foil plates and dies and have been following them on Instagram. I particularly enjoy Yasmin Diaz and Yana Smakula for their beautiful clean and fresh cards with pops of colourful blooms and images.

Now that I have finally purchased some Pink Fresh Products I am participating in the January 2022 Challenge at Pink Fresh Studio. I really love my flowers so I am using the flower prompt from March last year. My favourite flowers are roses and I just had to purchase this Garden Roses set including the stamp, die and stencils. The Perfect Sentiments hot foil plate and coordinating die is just amazing and I have already foiled sentiments in lots of different colours!

For my slimline card I have used Amazing Paper Grace Slimline Fluted Classics By Becca Feeken as a base for the card. I have used the Spellbinders Diagonal Stripe Slimline Embossing Folder on a smaller piece of card and adhered to the centre of the card for a clean and classic base.

I have heat embossed the images with gold embossing powder and added the colour with stencils. I have created multi-coloured roses using the three lightest colours from the Indian Summer and Fairy Dust collections and the leaves have been coloured with the three lightest colours from the Garden Stroll Set.

I have trimmed the flowers and added a small spray at the top of the card and the rest of the flowers at the base of the card with foam tape.

To finish I have hot foiled the Happy Birthday sentiment using Spellbinders gold foil and stacked the sentiment with three plain sentiments and added it to the centre of the card. Finally I have added some gold pearls from Spellbinders.

I think it is so important to keep exploring different products and techniques to improve your crafting skills and grow as an artist!

Amazing Paper Grace Garden Shutters Collection – Daisy Delight

Don’t you love interactive cards? Amazing Paper Grace has added the Garden Shutters Collection for another fun element of motion. It creates a beautiful card and with one pull of a tab, the shutters open to reveal a delightful surprise sentiment on the other side! There are two card base sizes, A2 and 5 x 7-inch, to choose from. Each card base set has all the elements you need to assemble and embellish a card! Which catches your eye?

Today’s projects were created with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Project for Today

I have made a pretty interactive card using the new Amazing Paper Grace Daisy Delight Garden Shutters A2 Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken.

I have created a frame using the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Rectangles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies Picot Petite Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken and then added the interactive mechanism to create the shutter card.

I really love the lattice inserts and thought they would be gorgeous as a back drop to handmade daisies using the dies that come with the set combined with Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go V flowers. Can you spot a sweet little bee from the Amazing Paper Grace Sweet Cardlets set? I really love making wings by hot foiling the wings on clear acetate and then die cutting them before adding them to the bee.

For a tutorial on how I have made these three dimensional flowers please go to the Amazing Paper Grace Encouragement Group.

Designers Tip:

In order to fit the birthday sentiments I angled the sentiments on the shutters and trimmed between ‘birth’ and ‘day’ in order to fit them on the shutters.
