I have another card inspired by the Altenew Academy (All About Layering 4). This class has so many techniques being shown with lots of different flower stamp sets. I loved the use of the black background to make the coloured images pop and I have used a different stamp set to what was shown in the class. I loved this technique and will be using it again as it was so quick and easy to make stunning cards.
Instructions:
I have stamped the images from the Altenew Forever in Love stamp set in Obsidian Pigment ink on Iris cardstock. I coloured the image with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and then die cut with the coordinating die. I coloured the edges of the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then placed this on a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of black cardstock. This was then matted with a piece of gold cardstock 4 3/16″ x 5 6/16″. I then adhere this to the front of a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base with a piece of heavy cardboard 4″ x 5 1/4″.
I die cut three Fancy Hello die cuts from black cardstock and adhered them together. I then die cut the die from gold cardstock and adhere to the black die cut slightly offsetting it to create a shadow and then adhere the sentiment to the card as shown.
I hope you like this card and I really encourage you to look at the Altenew classes. There is always something new to learn!
