Introducing Amazing Paper Grace Garden Shutters Collection

Don’t you love interactive cards? Amazing Paper Grace has added the Garden Shutters Collection for another fun element of motion. It creates a beautiful card and with one pull of a tab, the shutters open to reveal a delightful surprise sentiment on the other side! There are two card base sizes, A2 and 5 x 7-inch, to choose from. Each card base set has all the elements you need to assemble and embellish a card! Which catches your eye?

Today’s projects were created with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

Today I am using the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken and decorated with flowers and leaves made from the Amazing Paper Grace Primrose Heart Façade Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken

For my interactive card I have used a pretty decorative paper on the front and then added the flowers and leaves to create a spray of flowers across the card. The butterflies have gorgeous holographic wings to add some sparkle and shine to the card.

Designers Tip:

I found that it was better to have a heavier weight cardstock for the interactive base.

Amazing Paper Grace Birthday Daisies

Daisy Daisy Give Me a Daisy Do

I love making three dimensional flowers to add to my cards and I take a lot of inspiration from nature. Today I am sharing a very pretty card made with daisies. Daisies are just delightful flowers to have in the garden. They grow so easily and come in a wide range of colours but I do prefer the white daisies. I am using Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go V flower dies to make three dimensional daisies to add to my card. For a tutorial on how I have made these flowers and dressed the card please go to the Amazing Paper Grace Encouragement Group.

Shh there might be a sneak peak of what is coming shortly to Amazing Paper Grace…

The Fluted Classics Collection is another wonderful layering shape set with ticking designs reminiscent of the blanket stitch on its edges! Amazing Paper Grace December Die of the Month Blog Hop – Enchanting Pocket Card, Tag and Envelope

The Enchanting Pocket Card, Tag and Envelope set has many different options to make your creations stand out! It is a sweet gift card-sized envelope that doubles as a card front pocket. The bonus is that there is a tag too that doubles as a label. The inspiration for this set comes from Becca’s love of giving gift cards! It can be used year-round, dressed up or dressed down, and themed for any occasion. Using the different inlay and insert designs, you can cut and make unique variations to keep the design fresh!

**Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.**

There are 14 dies included in the Enchanting Pocket Card, Tag and Envelope.

My Project Today using Enchanting Pocket Card, Tag and Envelope.

Today I have made a thank you pocket card and a coordinating box made with the lacy rectangle dies. For the card I have laid the pocket over the beautiful Amazing Paper Grace Mosaic Bracket Card Builder Etched Dies from the Holiday Medley Collection by Becca Feeken. I have finished the card with a pink ribbon, some sweet flowers and some iridescent gems.

For the box I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Rectangles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken to create a simple box and on the top of I have die cut two lacy rectangles to decorate the top. I have finished with a pink bow and some gorgeous flowers.

Designer Tip:

For the pocket on the card I die cut another piece of cream card to give a nice finish to the back of the pocket as when I die cut the pocket and folded over the bottom the top showed the rough side of the die cut.
