Amazing Paper Grace Circle Postage Edges – Happy Birthday with Love

I love mixing and matching new and old Amazing Paper Grace dies to create classic and elegant cards. I especially love a white on white background creating texture and dimension with decorative dies and adding a pop of colour with hand crafted flowers and a pretty butterfly. Today I am sharing a shaped easel card featuring the new Amazing Paper Grace Postage Edge Circles from the Postage Edge Shapes Collection by Becca Feeken from the fabulous Amazing Paper Grace The Postage Edge Shapes Collection. I have paired the new Postage edge dies with the older but very beautiful Amazing Paper Grace Doily Round die and added some handcrafted frilly sweet peas for a very sweet birthday card for someone special.

Today’s creations were made with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Project for Today

I have created a shaped easel card by die cutting the large postage edge circle die slightly over the edge of a folded card to create a hinge. I scored the top in half and then added another large postage edge circle. I have added the decorative die from the Amazing Paper Grace Doily Round die. I have layered smaller postage edge and plain dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Postage Edge Circles from the Postage Edge Shapes Collection by Becca Feeken before adding a decorative medallion from the Amazing Paper Grace Richelieu Squaare dies.

The sweet pea flowers have been made using the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go IV flowers and Cinch
the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go III flowers dies and the leaves are from the Candlewick Rosebud die set.

The sweet butterfly is from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken.

The die cut sentiment is from the Amazing Paper Grace With Love Regalia Card Builder Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken and the foiled sentiment is from Spellbinders.

The butterfly has been made with vellum and I have added some Precious Platinum Nuvo Mousse to the edges and some glitter to the wings for some extra sparkle.

The sentiment has been die cut three times – twice with Snowdrift cardstock and one with iridescent cardstock. I have stacked the dies together with the iridescent cardstock at the top for extra depth and dimension.

For some extra sparkle I have added some fine crystal glitter to the flowers with clear gloss gel medium on a paintbrush. For a more realistic sweet pea look I have added tendrils to the flowers using some fine florist wire that I have wrapped around a paintbrush to create the curly ends.

The dies from the Circle Postage Edges, Round Doily, and Richelieu Square coordinated perfectly together to create beautiful layers.

Amazing Paper Grace | The Postage Edge Shapes Collection Intro Blog Hop

I love making handcrafted flowers and the new Amazing Paper Grace Postage Edge Ovals from the Postage Edge Shapes Collection by Becca Feeken provided a gorgeous base for creating frames for my flowers. Especially when combined with other Amazing Paper Grace collections such as the Petite Picot and Fluted Classic collections.

Today’s creations were made with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

Today I am using the Amazing Paper Grace Postage Edge Ovals from the Postage Edge Shapes Collection by Becca Feeken

I have created two very different cards showing the versatility of these dies. For my Mother’s Day card I have created an outer frame using the largest postage oval from the Amazing Paper Grace Postage Edge Ovals from the Postage Edge Shapes Collection by Becca Feeken and created an inner frame using the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Ovals Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken. Inside the frame I have added used a floral transfer to the centre of the plain oval and then crackled the image and distressed it lightly before adding the gold fluted frame with foam strips for more dimension. I have finished the card with handcrafted roses from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud die and a butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken and a foiled sentiment from Spellbinders.

For my Thank You card I have gone for soft colours and flowers. I have created a base for the card using the Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies Picot Petite Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken, the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Rectangles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace You’re Amazing Etched Dies from the Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken. I have used the two smaller postage ovals and layered them differently for something different. I have decorated the card with flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Spring Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken. The sweet butterfly is from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken. To complete the card I have foiled the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Heartfelt Sentiments from the Sweet Cardlets collection by Becca Feeken.

I have added some gold to the edges of the flowers to create a more vintage look that ties in with the gold trims on the base card.

The butterfly is made out of vellum and I have coloured it with Spun Sugar and Pickled Raspberry inks. To finish the butterfly I have added some Nuvo Indian Gold Mousse to the edges to coordinate with the vintage look I was wanting to achieve.

I have added some glitter to the flowers using clear gloss gel medium with a paintbrush for a sparkly finish.

Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month

The Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock is so elegant and reminded me of the beautiful and ornate French Ormulu clocks that often had beautiful hand painted floral images and sometimes flowers. For my projects today I have used pearlised cardstock and a pretty floral image in the centre of the clock combined with handcrafted flowers to replicate the look of a porcelain china antique clock.

Today’s creations were created with the dies supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 21 cutting dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock.

My Projects Today:

Today I have a card and a 3D vignette using the Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock. I have paired the clock with Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies Picot Petite Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Rectangles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken for an elegant card. Both projects have handcrafted flower embellishments.

I have used a transfer sheet with a pretty floral spray for the centre of the clocks and have coloured the flowers and leaves to coordinated with the floral image. To complete the porcelain china look I have painted the flowers with clear gloss gel and sprinkled some ultrafine crystal glitter over for a pretty shiny and sparkly finish.

The flowers have been created using the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers III and the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud.

I have die cut two layers of the clock hands to help create some dimension and allow the clock hands to stand out.

I have added a gold gem to the middle of the clock.

Amazing Paper Grace – 3D Hot Air Balloon

As soon as I saw the new Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Hot Air Balloon Etched Dies from 3D Vignette Collection by Becca Feeken from the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Collection I instantly thought of creating a sweet baby card. This design would be perfect done in so many colour combinations to suit all tastes. I used this as an opportunity to make some gorgeous flowers to decorate the balloon for a pretty and feminine finish to the card.

Dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace were used in today’s creations.

There are 21 dies in the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Hot Air Balloon

My Projects for Today

For my 4″ x 6″ card I have added a pretty embossed base for my hot air balloon. I have added a pink and white balloon with silver trims to the card front and popped some clouds behind the balloon. The sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace My Sweet Friend Etched Dies from the Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken. I have handcrafted roses from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud die and the small flowers are from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken. To finish the baby card I have added a foiled sentiment from a Spellbinders Sentiments for Everyday Glimmer Plate and Die set.

This sentiment from the Spellbinders Sentiments for Everyday Glimmer Plate and Die set is perfect for this card.

I have die cut three ‘Baby Girl’ sentiment out of pink cardstock three times and stacked them together to create more dimension and help the sentiment to pop from the background.

I sponged the basket with Sepia ink for a more dimensional look.

The roses have been coloured with pink and yellow inks to create a two toned effect.

I have angled the balloon on the card to enable me to add the sentiment to the base of the card.

I have used the same yellow in the rose for the smaller flowers and the small blue flowers are the same colour as the clouds to help create a harmonious colour palette.

The flowers have been painted with a clear gloss medium and sprinkled lightly with ultrafine crystal glitter for some sparkle.

Kia Ora Koutou

I have a simple card to share with you today featuring the beautiful new Filigree Frames & Border Dies and the Elegant Rose Frames collection from Heartfelt Creations. Sometimes less is more and I have kept the background and flowers to a minimum to really showcase the beautiful border dies and let the floral images and sentiment shine.

For more information on the products I have used please visit here: https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/gallery/charming-classic-roses
