I love being able to make quick and easy Christmas cards and today I managed to get two identical and yet not identical cards from the labels using the Amazing Paper Grace Holiday Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken from the Amazing Paper Grace Seasonal Motifs collection by Becca Feeken. This design is really easy to mass produce.
Today’s projects created were used with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.
My Project for Today
I have created two 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ cards with a pretty embossed background using the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Flourish 2D Embossing Folder from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken and framed using the Amazing Paper Grace A2 Filigree Marquis Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken. I have die cut the plain outer frame from the Amazing Paper Grace Holiday Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken from Snowdrift cardstock and ink blended the background using yellow inks. I then die cut it out using the inner decorative die. This ink blended motif ended up being used on the two cards by mixing and matching the pieces with pieces cut from gold cardstock. I have used thin foam strips to create dimension on the lantern to help it stand out from the background.
To finish the cards I have embellished the motifs using flowers and leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Holiday Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken and a gold cord bow.
For this card I have created the frame from gold cardstock and paper pierced the ink blended die cuts into the frame.
This card has the frame from the ink blended frame with the gold inserts on the gold outer frame.
The lantern has been die cut twice and I have added acetate to the lantern to create the effect of glass. I have then adhered one lantern over the other using fine foam strips.
