Other – Bronze metallic cardstock, Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender ink, Bitty Sparkles, Art Glitter micro beads, Versamgaic Sweet Petunia, Perfect Plumeria

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make a base card of 6” x 6”.  Cut the 6” x 6” panel from the paper collection and adhere over the front of the card.  Die cut the cage die from the HCD1-7172 Lush Lilac Scroll & Cage Die

In bronze metallic card and adhere at the top of the card.  Die cut the border from the HCD1-799 Regal Borders and Pockets Die in the bronze metallic cardstock and adhere to the top of the card.

Stamp the images from both the HCD1-7173 HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Rhubarb Stalk and Rose Coral inks on white cardstock.  Colour the Rose Coral images in Rose Coral ink and the Rhubarb Stalk images with the Perfect Plumeria ink and then die cut with the corresponding dies.  Shape the flowers using the HCFB1-464 Basic Flower Shaping Mold, allow to dry and assemble with a combination of the large and small images to make large flowers and buds.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.  Adhere around the bottom of the card as shown.

Stamp the images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Rose Coral ink and colour in with the Rose Coral and Canteloupe ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape and adhere around the large peonies.  Add Crystal Clear using Dries Clear on a damp sponge.

Stamp the leaf images from the both the HCD1-7173 HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Bamboo Leaves ink and colour in with New Sprout ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Sponge the edges with Bamboo Leaves and then shape, trim and adhere around the peonies as shown.

To make the small leaves stamp the images from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms Stamp set in Bamboo Leaves on white cardstock.  Colour the images with Bamboo Leaves and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere around the peonies to the left and right of the card among the peonies.

Stamp the dandelion images in Bamboo Leaves ink, colour with Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Add micro beads to the centre with Dries Clear glue and allow to dry.  Add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue and adhere the dandelions to the card around the peonies.

Stamp the small lilac spray image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Colour the leaves with Bamboo Leaves ink and the lilacs in Lavender ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape and adhere over the top of the bird cage.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Lavender ink, sponge with the Lavender ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry and adhere the lilacs l over the small lilac spray over the cage.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss and small bitty sparkles to the centres of the flowers.

To make the rose leaves stamp the images from the HCPC-3752 Classic Rose Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Colour the image with Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape the flowers using the Rose Shaping Mold, allow to dry and adhere to the top left of the card as shown.  To make the roses stamp the images from the HCPC-3752 Classic Rose Cling Stamp set in Pearlescent Coral, sponge the centres with Canteloupe inks and die cut.  Sponge the edges with the Pearlescent oralShape the flowers using the Rose Shaping Mold, allow to dry and assemble and adhere to the leaves as shown.

Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Shape lightly and adhere to the bottom right over the peony and top left on the birdcage.

Die cut the tag using the Luggage and Tags die, shape and adhere it just under the bird as shown.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 10” x 5 ¼” and score at 4 ½” and 5 ¾” to create the base of the purse.

Adhere the magnet to the front of the card as shown.  Cut a piece of patterned paper at 5 2/16” and 4 2/16” and adhere it over the front of the purse.

 

 

Cut two pieces of white cardstock at 4 ¼” x 4 ½” and score every ¾” along the 4 ½” side to create the sides.

Adhere these pieces to the sides of the purse as shown.

Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 ½” x 5 ¼” and score at 3/4” x 1 ¼” along the shorter edge to create the top.  Using the edge die from the semi-circular medallion set die cut the edge of the top as shown.

Using the edge die cut from the Decorative Medallion die along the edge as shown.

Cut two strips of patterned paper 6/16” x 5 2/16” and ¾” x 5 2/16” and adhere at the top and front of the top.  Die cut the edge and decorative dies out of white cardstock and adhere together before adhering to the front as shown.

Adhere top to the back of the purse.

Cut two strips of patterned paper 3/8” x 12” and adhere together to create the handle.

Score at 1” at each end and then adhere to the top as shown.  Cut a piece of patterned paper at 3/8” x 5 2/16 and adhere over the top.

 

Take a small washer and place it over the magnet on the front.  Add some glue on it and close the top over the purse.  Lift the top and the glue will leave a mark on the back of the top.  Adhere the washer over this mark with Dries Clear Glue.

Cut a piece of patterned paper 3” x 5 ¼”. Die cut the edge with the edge die from the Medallion set and then adhere to the back of the top as shown.

Stamp the image from HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die.   Sponge the leaves with Fern Green ink and colour the flowers with the Purple and Lavender inks using the Dove Blender pen.  Add Ultrafine glitter to the image with the Dries Clear Glue, shape and adhere to the front of the purse.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple and Lavender inks, sponge with the coordinating inks, and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry, shape and adhere the lilacs to lilac spray. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with a damp sponge and add Lavender & Lace prills to the centres of the flowers with Dries Clear Glue.

To finish, add Ultrafine Crystal glitter to the images with Dries Clear glue. Add pearls on the handle.

These purses take 3 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ cards for ease for a lovely gift idea.

Foam tape, Brilliance Pearlescent Purple, Versamagic Sweet Petunia, Glue Gloss, Creative Expressions Iris cardstock, Zig Colour Brush Markers, Bristol Smooth cardstock.

Instructions:

Fold out card base – Die cut the lace border from the HCD1-7120 Fleur Border Basics die set and adhere to the edges of the fold out card from the Iris cardstock.   Die cut the patterned paper to fit the fold out panels using the plain border edge die from the Fleur Border Basics dies and adhere to the panels.  Die cut the scallop border from the HCD1-7120 Fleur Border Basics die set from the Iris cardstock and adhere to the backs of the panels.

Front – Stamp the ‘For My Friend’ image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on the scroll image of the paper before die cutting.  To make the flowers stamp the lilacs and buds from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Lavender and Purple inks, sponge with the corresponding inks, and Bamboo Leaves ink on the stems of the buds and die cut with the corresponding dies.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs around the scroll and lilac spray as shown.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre. Stamp the butterfly image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour with the Zig markers and add Crystal Ultrafine glitter with Dries Clear glue before adhering to the front as depicted.

Inside front – Stamp the large lilac spray from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set and the small lilac spray from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp sets in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape and adhere to the top right side as shown.  To make the flowers stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Lavender and Purple inks, sponge with the corresponding inks, and die cut with the corresponding dies  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs to the sprays on the right and also the small spray on the paper on the left.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.  Fussy cut two butterflies out and add Crystal Ultrafine glitter to the wings before adhering to the panels as shown.  Cut the small strips from the patterned paper and adhere to the bottom of the panels.

Inside panels – Stamp the umbrella image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die. Colour in with Zig brush markers and shape lightly and adhere to the top left of the page.  Stamp the large lilac spray from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black in on Bristol Smooth paper and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour with the Zig markers, shape and adhere to the top of the right-hand panel as shown.  Stamp the lilacs and buds from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp Lavender and Purple inks, sponge with the corresponding inks, and Bamboo Leaves ink on the stems of the buds and die cut with the corresponding dies.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs to the umbrella and over the large lilac spray as shown.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.  Cut the strip from the patterned paper and adhere to the bottom of the card as shown.

Back left panel – Stamp two large lilac images from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set in Jet Black ink on white cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour with the Zig markers, shape and adhere to the panel as shown.  Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp Lavender and Purple inks, sponge with the corresponding inks, and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs to the lilacs as shown. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre. Cut the patterned edge from the patterned paper and adhere to the bottom of the panel as shown

Back panel Cut a piece of Iris cardstock 8” x 5 ¾” and die cut the lacy border from the HCD1-7119 Classic Border Basics die and adhere to the base of the card.  Cut a piece of the patterned paper 8” x 5 ¾” and die cut the edge using the edge die from the HCD1-7119 Classic Border Basics die set.  Die cut the cage die from HCD1-7172 Lush Lilac Scroll & Cage Die set from white cardstock and adhere to the paper as shown.  Cut the sentiment from the patterned paper, dove tail the end and adhere below the cage as shown.  Stamp the long lilac spray image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set, and the small lilac spray from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp sets in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour in with Zig markers and shape lightly and adhere the images to the top right of the bird cage coming down the right side of the cage and under the sentiment as shown.  Stamp the lilacs and buds from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Purple and Lavender inks and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere around the cage and and over the long lilac spray and around the sentiment as shown. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre. Cut a strip of patterned paper to the bottom of the panel.  Cut the birds from another sheet of patterned paper and adhere around the cage as shown.

To finish add Crystal Ultrafine glitter to the images on the card with Dries Clear glue.

A Lilac Garden

Today for Inspiration Wednesday I am featuring two cards using the stunning Lush Lilac collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I love how the paper collection makes it so easy to do quick and easy cards that look fabulous.

 

Materials Used:

Zig brush markers, Versamagic Sweet Petunia, Foam Tape, Bristol Smooth

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score along the long side at 4 ¼” and fold to create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” base card.  Cut a piece of purple paper 4 ¼” x 5 ½” and adhere to the front of the card.

Cut the panel out from the patterned paper and die cut the inner using the Cut Mat Create 1A die.  Using the frame as a template adhere the centre to the card using Dries Clear glue.  Cut a piece of clear cardstock 4 ¼” x 3 ¼” and adhere behind the frame.  Adhere the frame to the front of the card with foam tape.

Cut the cage image out in white cardstock and adhere to the front of the aperture over the clear cardstock.

Stamp the image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth paper and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour with Zig brush markers and adhere to the front of the card.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the image with Dries Clear glue.

Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Shape lightly and adhere above the lilac spray as shown.

Finish with a ribbon bow in purple.

My second card is a quick and simple card letting the beautiful papers speak for themselves.

Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers, Bristol Smooth Card, Foam Tape

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make a base card of 6” x 6”.  Take a 6” x 6” panel featuring the window and flowers and die cut the square out using the coordinating die from the HCD2-751 Cut Mat Create 2A Die. Adhere the frame to the card base using foam tape.  Adhere the centre panel inside the frame with Dries Clear glue.

Stamp the scroll image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth card and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour in with Zig Clean Colour Brush markers and adhere to the bottom left of the frame.

Stamp the small lilac spray from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set twice in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth card and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour in with the Zig Clean Colour Brush markers and adhere one above the scroll and the other on the bottom right of the scroll.

Stamp the lilac spray image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Spray Stamp in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth card and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere to the bottom right of the card as shown.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Lavender ink, sponge with the Lavender ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry and adhere the lilacs to around the scroll over the small lilac sprays. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centres of the flowers.

Brilliance Pearlescent Purple Ink, Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender ink, Pearls SVGcuts file, Cricut Explore Air, American Crafts cardstock – purple. White organza ribbon, light purple ribbon, Bow Maker, Glue Gloss

Instructions:

Die cut the umbrella using the SVG file on the machine using the American Crafts purple cardstock and the patterned paper.  Assemble according to the instructions.  An extra layer was added for more strength to the umbrella handle.

Stamp two large lilac spray image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves inks and use the Dove Blender pen to colour the flowers with the Purple and Lavender inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape lightly and adhere to the back of the umbrella on either side of the handle.

Stamp several small lilac spray images from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves inks and use the Dove Blender pen to colour the flowers with the Purple and Lavender inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Adhere to the umbrella handle (leaving room for the ribbon bow) and around the larger lilac spray images on the back of the umbrella.

Stamp three large lilac spray images from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves and colour the flowers with Purple and Lavender inks with the Dove Blender Pen.  Die cut with the coordinating dies, shape and adhere to the top of the front of the umbrella as shown.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold kit and adhere the lilacs to large sprays on the front of the umbrella, the long and small lilac sprays on the inside of the umbrella and up the umbrella handle.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss

Cut the tags from the patterned paper and adhere to the umbrella handle with twine.  To finish make a double bow with organza and purple ribbon using the bow maker and adhere to the handle as shown.  Add pearls around the front as shown.

Foam tape, Brilliance Pearlescent Purple, Versamagic Sweet Petunia, Glue Gloss, Creative Expressions Iris cardstock, Zig Colour Brush Markers

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make a base card of 6” x 6”.  Cut a piece of Iris cardstock at 6” x 7” and die cut the lace edge from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders die on both sides of the card.  Die cut 3 cages from Iris cardstock and adhere to the top of the card on the back, with the centre cage slightly higher.

Take the 6” x 6” patterned panel and die cut the inner square using the Cut Mat Create 2A die.  Using the frame as a template adhere the centre to the front of the Iris card.  Die cut a cage from white cardstock and adhere to the front of the panel.  Stamp the small lilac spray image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth paper and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour the image in with Zig brush markers and adhere to the bottom of the cage.  Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink, and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilac to the lilac spray.  Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.  Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Add a bird to the top of the lilac spray.

Cut a piece of clear cardstock 3 ¾” x 5 ½” and score ½” in from each end on the long side. Bend slightly and adhere on the sides of the frame.  Adhere the frame to the card base with foam tape.  Die cut another cage out of white cardstock and adhere over the clear cardstock over the previous cage image.  Cut 3 cages out of the Iris cardstock and adhere to the back of this panel with the centre one being slightly higher.  Adhere the card front to the card base.  Cut the sentiment from the patterned paper and adhere to the top of the card as shown.

Stamp the umbrella image from the HCPC-3817 Lush Lilac & Umbrella Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die. Colour in with Zig brush markers and shape lightly and adhere to the bottom left of the card.

Stamp the long lilac spray image from the HCPC-3818 Lush Lilac Scroll & Notes Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour in with Zig markers and shape lightly and adhere to the top right of the bird cage coming down the right side of the cage.

Stamp the lilacs and buds from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink, and Bamboo Leaves ink on the stems of the buds and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and adhere the lilacs to the umbrella and over the long lilac spray and around the sentiment as shown. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilac with Glue Gloss and Lettuce Entertain You prills to the centre.

Stamp the bird images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and cut out with the corresponding die.  Colour with Canteloupe, Summer Sky and Sweet Petunia inks and add Ultrafine Crystal glitter with glue gloss.  Shape lightly and adhere above the umbrella and on the right as shown.

Clean and Simple Lush Lilac Card

This is my second post featuring the stunning Lush Lilac Collection from Heartfelt Creations.  I love doing a wide range of cards and today I am featuring a clean and simple card that also has some foiling for a touch of elegance.

Spellbinders Hemstitch Rectangles, Go Press and Foil, Brilliance Pearlescent Purple, Itty Bitty Clear Sparkles, Foam dots

Instructions

Cut a piece of white cardstock 8 ½” x 5 ½”, score along the long side at 4 ¼” and fold to create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” base card.  Using the Largest edge die, hemstitch die and the second largest edge die from the Hemstitch Rectangles die set foil with gold using the Go Press and Foil machine.  Using a sharp knife and ruler trim the edges before adhering to the front of the card.  Using the second largest edge die cut a piece of white cardstock and adhere to the base card with foam tape.  Die cut the house image using the third largest edge die from the Hemstitch Rectangles die set and adhere to the front of the card as shown.

Cut the sentiment out from the paper collection, shape and adhere to the front of the image as shown.

Stamp the small lilac spray image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock.  Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves ink and the lilacs with Purple ink.  Shape and adhere on the top left of the patterned image over the sentiment.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Purple ink, sponge with the Purple ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry and adhere the lilacs to small lilac spray. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss and little bitty sparkles to the centres.

Stamp the small bird images from the HCPC-3768 Woodsy Critters Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and die cut with the corresponding dies.  Colour the birds with Peanut Brittle and Danube Blue inks, shape and adhere around the lilacs and sentiment as shown with foam dots.

To finish, add Ultrafine Glitter to the house image with Dries Clear Glue.
