To make the base card cut the base card at 14” x 8 ¾” score at 7” to make a base card of 7” x 8 ¾”.  Cut a piece of patterened paper from the Birds and Blooms paper collection 7” x 8 ¾”  and adhere to the front of the card.

Cut a 6’ x 6” panel of patterned paper.  To make the shadow box assemble and cut a piece of patterned paper and adhere to the back of the shadow box.  Cut a 6” x 6” panel with the flowers on the top left corner.  Die cut the square from the patterned paper using the die from the HCD2-751 Cut Mat Create 2A die set.  Using a stamp press stamp the image from the HCPC-3815 Words of Wisdom in Tuxedo Black and adhere to the back of the card.  Trim the remaining frame to 5” x 5” and adhere to the front of the shadow box.  Using the leftover ½” strips decorate the sides of the box.  Cut a piece of 6” x 6” panel and adhere the shadow box to this.  Cut 4 decorative edges from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders Die set and adhere to the sides of the panel as shown.  Adhere this all to the base card.

To make the leaves stamp the images from the HCPC-3545 Open Leaf stamp set with Tuxedo Black on white cardstock.  Sponge the images with Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit and add Crystal Clear to the leaves with Glue Gloss.  Adhere at the bottom right and over the left top corner of the shadow box.

To make the flowers stamp the images from the HCPC-3608 Arianna Blooms Stamp set in Pearlescent Coral ink on white cardstock.  Ink the centres with Canteloupe ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape the flowers using the new HCFB1-464 3D Floral Basics Shaping Mold.  Finish shaping into a cup shape with the shaping tools and allow to dry.  Add the yellow stamens to the centres of the flowers by trimming the tops and adding using Dries Clear glue.  Using Glue Gloss add Frosting Powder to the flower petals and heat using the heat gun.  Adhere to the leaves as shown around the bottom right and the top left corners.

To make the birds stamp the images from the HCPC-3644 Birds and Blooms Stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die.  Colour with Summer Sky and Canteloupe and shape lightly using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit.  Adhere to the flowers as shown.

I hope that you have a lot of fun creating with these amazing new molds.  You won’t regret buying them.

Happy Crafting
