Welcome back to Inspiration Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations and today I am excited to show you my latest card featuring the new Black Friday dies.  My favourite style is layering decorative dies with some handcrafted flowers that pop on the all white base.  The new Rounded Window Frame die is just stunning and I could not resist the challenge of layering the dies together for these gorgeous vellum flowers.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 12” x 6”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 6” x

Cut a piece of white cardstock 12” x 6”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 6” x 6”.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 6” x 6” and emboss using the Ornate Frames embossing folder and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the large eyelet circle die from the HCD1-7273 Rounded Eyelet Window Die set out of white cardstock and adhere to the front of the card with foam tape.  Die cut the outer decorative die from the HCD1-7271 Rounded Window Frame Die set out of white cardstock.  Add Frosting Powder to the die using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the eyelet circle.  Die cut an eyelet circle out of white cut using the eyelet circle die from the D1-7154 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small die set.  Die cut the centre out using the third largest plain edge die from the D1-7154 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small set.  Die cut a circle using the third largest plain edge die from the D1-7154 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small set out of white cardstock, and then die cut the inner decorative die from the HCD1-7271 Rounded Window Frame Die set outside this circle.  Add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and then adhere to the eyelet circle.  Adhere this to the card front with foam tape.  Die cut the inner lattice using the lattice die and the third largest die from the third largest plain edge die from the D1-7154 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small set.  Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and then adhere to the centre recess.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3533 Sun Kissed Fleur Cling Stamp Set in Frost White ink on the vellum and heat emboss with the white Opaque embossing powder.  Colour the flowers with Pink Flambe embellishment mousse and the leaves with Olive Pastel inks on the front of the embossed vellum.  Die cut with the coordinating die, spritz with water on the back and shape using groove golf tools.  Assemble with a hot glue gun when dry and pierce a hole in the centres of the flowers.  Insert one yellow bead stamen and light yellow rock candy stamens and set with a hot glue gun.  Add Diamond glitter to the flowers with Dries Clear glitter on a dry sponge.  Adhere the flowers and leaves around the circle as shown with a hot glue gun.

Stamp the birthday image from the HCPC-3843 Special Birthday Sentiments Stamp set in Versamark ink on white cardstock and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.  Die cut the sentiment using the third smallest arrow die from the HCD1-7204 Arrows & Banner Die set.  Trim the dove tail end and tuck under the flowers on the left.  Adhere the arrow side to the right of the decorative dies as shown.

A Delicate Best Wishes Card

Welcome back and today I am sharing a delicate best wishes card made using beautiful vellum Sun Kissed Fleur flowers.

Ranger Distress Oxide ink – Spun Sugar, Dress My Craft Crystal Clear Sequins, Bazzill Smoothie card – Blush, Couture Creations Embossing Folder – Swiss Dots, Reeves Clear Gloss Gel, White cardstock, Pale pink narrow ribbon, iCraft stencil, Glue gun, Foam tape, Colorbox inks – Frost White, Olive Pastel, Spray Adhesive

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”.  Cut a piece of blush cardstock 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.    Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 15/16” x 6 15/16” and die cut the circle slightly off centre at the top of the card as shown using the largest plain die from the HCD1-7153 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small Die set.  Emboss partially with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and score the bottom half every 1/16” using the ScorPal board.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 ¾” x 5”.  Add Ultrafine Crystal glitter to some gloss gel and then stencil on the white card.  When dry add to the back of the embossed card with foam tape.  Die cut a circle frame using the eyelet and largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7153 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small Die set out of white cardstock.  Add Frosting Powder to the frame using spray adhesive and adhere the frame to the circle opening.  Adhere this to the front of the card using foam tape.

Die cut the long eyelet tag from the HCD1-7201 Ticket and Tags Die set out of Blush cardstock.  Die cut the inner long tag out of white cardstock from the HCD1-7201 Ticket and Tags Die set and adhere to the blush eyelet tag.  Die cut the lace edge from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders set out of white cardstock and add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive. Adhere under one edge of the long eyelet tag and then adhere the entire tag over the join of the embossing on the card.

Die cut the outer round tag die from the HCD1-7203 Ornamental Tags Die set out of Blush cardstock.  Die cut the inner Best Wishes sentiment from the HCD1-7203 Ornamental Tags Die set out of white cardstock.  Add Frosting Powder to the die using spray adhesive and then adhere to the pink base.  Adhere to the centre of the long eyelet border as shown.  Add a pale pink ribbon bow to the top of the tag.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3533 Sun Kissed Fleur Cling Stamp Set in Frost White ink on the vellum and heat emboss with the white Opaque embossing powder.  Colour the flowers with Spun Sugar ink and the leaves with Olive Pastel inks on the front of the embossed vellum.  Die cut with the coordinating die, spritz with water on the back and shape using groove golf tools.  Assemble with a hot glue gun when dry and pierce a hole in the centres of the flowers.  Insert one white bead stamen and white rock candy stamens and set with a hot glue gun.  Add Ultrafine Crystal Glitter to the flowers with Dries Clear glitter on a dry sponge.  Adhere around the circle as shown with a hot glue gun.

To finish, add translucent sparkling sequins to the centre of the circle as shown.

Oakberry Lane Vellum Flowers Just For You

Welcome back and today we have some new dies being released by Heartfelt Creations that will lift your creativity to a new level.

Here I have created a card using the HCD1-7229 Diamond & Lace die that is the perfect background to the beautiful vellum Oakberry Lane flowers and leaves.  I wish you could see the card in person.  It is just so beautiful with the glitter and fine delicate flowers and leaves.

Ranger Embossing Powder – Silver, Versamark ink, Distress Oxide inks – Lucky Clover, Twisted Citron, Picked Raspberry, Nuvo Crystal Drops – Simply White, Creative Expressions Aurora Crystal Sparke Embossing Powder, Close to my Close White Daisy Pigment ink

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white card stock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of aqua patterned paper from the Butterfly Dreams Collection 4 ¾” x 6 ¾” and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the diamond die from white card stock and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut three inner frames from white card stock and adhere together. Add Crystal Clear to the frame using Dries Clear on a damp sponge and adhere to the base die. Die cut the centre of the die out of white card stock and adhere to the centre of the frame.

Stamp the leaves from the stamp set using White Daisy ink on vellum, heat emboss with the Aurora Crystal Sprinkle embossing powder. Colour on the back of the leaves with the Twisted Citrus and Lucky Clover inks before die cutting with the coordinating die. Shape the leaves with a paintbrush and adhere around the diamond.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3842 Oak berry Lane ‘Blossoms Stamp set using the White Daisy ink on the vellum, heat emboss with Aurora Crystal Sprinkle embossing powder. Colour on the back of the flowers with Picked Raspberry ink and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape using a paintbrush and assemble using two of each size.  Adhere over the leaves as shown.

Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just For you Sentiment Stamp set in Versamark ink on vellum. Heat emboss with the silver embossing powder and die cut with the second smallest banner die and adhere as shown.
