Happy Anniversary

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I am sharing a card that shows the versatility of the new Tender Moments collection from Heartfelt Creations. The little rose images are perfect to add as fillers for other flowers or as a feature on their own. I have made a shaped easel card and decorated it with painted roses.

Instructions:

Click here to view another photo of this project. Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7” and score at 5” along the long side and fold in half. Die cut the shaped card by using the outer frame die from the HCD2-7307 Royal Elegance Frames Die set slightly over the folded edge. Score one half of the base card and fold to create an easel card. Die cut one outer frame out of white cardstock and adhere to the bottom half of the top of the card. Die cut a decorative die using the larger outer decorative die from white cardstock, add Frosting Powder using Dries Clear glue on a dry sponge on the outer decorative edge and then adhere to the card front.

Die cut three inner oval frames using the middle sized decorative frame and the plain edge oval die out of white cardstock and adhere together. Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and adhere to the middle of the decorative die.

Stamp the Happy Anniversary image from the HCPC3847 Celebrate Love Sentiment Stamp in Black Onyx ink on white cardstock. Using the second smallest decorative die, die cut the sentiment out and then adhere this to the centre of the frames.

Die cut a decorative die using the larger outer decorative die from the HCD2-7307 Royal Elegance Frames Die set out of white cardstock. Happy Anniversary

Kia Ora and Welcome Back

Today I am featuring a card that I have made to be part of a collaboration with some other New Zealand business owners celebrating the first wedding anniversary which is paper.   Gift Hutt has a range of paper crafting supplies from Heartfelt Creations to make memorable keepsakes as well as anniversary cards.  We have amazing albums with inserts to personalise your album as well as beautiful papers to decorate.  Use the stamp and die sets to add stunning embellishments to create albums to keep forever.    You can check them out here: Gift Hutt or here Heartfelt Creations.

Instructions:

Base Card:  Cut a piece of white cardstock at 10″ x 7″, score at 5″ along the long side and fold to make a card 5″ x 7″.  Die cut the large frame from the Elegant Labe 4 set in white cardstock and add to the base card.  Die cut the second largest frame and adhere to the frame.  Die cut the frame and inner image from the Anja’s Vintage Frame.  Glue the inner image onto the back image and adhere to the base frame with foam squares. To make the sentiment label stamp the Happy Anniversary image on some spare white cardstock and die cut using the rectangle die from the Fancy Frames 2 die set.  Adhere to the centre of the frame as shown.  Die cut the number 1 from white cardstock from the Victorian Numbers and adhere to the tag as shown.  I have used a light tack tape on this in case I need to remove it for another anniversary.

To make the leaves ink the images from the Classic Rose set with the Tea Leaves ink and sponge the leaves with Aloe Vera before die cutting with the coordinating die.  Sponge the edges of the leaves with Tea Leaves and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Add the leaves to the card along the lower left side of the Anja’s Vintage Frame dies as shown with foam square and Dries Clear Glue.

To make the roses stamp the images from the Classic Rose set with the Coral ink.  Sponge the centres with Canteloupe ink and die cut.  Sponge the edges with the Coral ink and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit.  Assemble and adhere to the card as shown.  For further information on how I make my roses please visit here: http://wp.me/p2MuRN-VF

To make the small flowers die cut the smallest flowers from the Wildwood Floral set in white cardstock.  Sponge the edges softly with the Canteloupe, New Sprout and Summer Sky inks and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Pierce a hole in the centre of the flowers and add the stamens.  Use some glue to keep the stamens in place . I would like to acknowledge Rajni Chawla and Anita Kejriwal from the Heartfelt Creations Design Team for there inspiration for these flowers.  Add the flowers around the roses as shown using Dries Clear Glue.

To finish add pearls as desired.
