Instructions:
Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 7” x 5”. Cut a piece of light green patterned paper 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” and adhere to the front of the card using a piece of 4 3/4” x 6 3/4″ heavy cardboard. Die cut the decorative frame using the die from the HCD2-7192 Eyelet Lace Frames Die out of white cardstock. Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and then adhere to the front of the card.
Stamp three images from the HCPC-3919 Snowy Pines Cabin Cling Stamp Set in Black Onyx ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut one image using the outer die only, one using the inner and outer dies only and the final image using the die around the cabin and the outer die. Adhere the cabin die to the background image. Add Ultrafine Crystal glitter to the background by dotting Dries Clear glue over the sky and around the snow. Add Ultrafine Crystal glitter to the roof of the cabins and on the mailbox using Dries White glue. While this is drying die cut clear cardstock using the outer die. Adhere behind the pine leaves die. Die cut the foam frame out of the adhesive foam using the inner and outer frame dies. Adhere to the pine leaf frame. Add some Frosting Powder to the centre of the background image and then adhere the frame to the background image to create the shaker element and adhere to the front of the card. Add glittery snow effects by adding Ultrafine Crystal glitter using Dries White glue.
Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-2907 Wild Rose – Large Stamp set in Leaf Green on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse ink and Leaf Green inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges of the leaves with Leaf Green ink and then shape using the coordinating mold. Add Crystal Clear glitter and adhere to the left of the decorative dies as shown.
Stamp the small rose images from the HCPC-2906 Wild Rose – Small Stamp set in Viridian ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper. Colour the centres with Viridian ink and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape using the coordinating mold with the patterned side up to create a cup shape and assemble using two of each size petal. Pierce the centres and add the pearl coloured Rose Hip stamens and the small pearl stamens. Add Frosting Powder to the stamens and flowers using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Trim the wires and threads and adhere to the left side of the card as shown over the leaves.
Stamp the holly leaf images from the HCPC-3881 Christmas Poinsettia & Holly Stamp set in Library Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse and Fern Green inks and die cut with the coordinating dies. Add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere around the roses as shown.
Trim the ends of the red bead stamens and then add around the flowers and leaves as shown to create holly berries.
Inside card – add a piece of 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” light green patterned paper to the card inside using a piece of heavy cardboard 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4”.
I hope that I have inspired you to get started on your Christmas cards.
Happy crafting.
