Instructions:
Cut a piece of white cardstock 12” x 6”, score at 6” on the long side and fold to create a base card 6” x 6”. Cut a piece of gold cardstock 6” x 6” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a 6” x 6” panel from the patterned paper and trim to 5 7/8” x 6 7/8”. Using the third size plain edge rectangle die from the HCD2-7189 Eyelet Rectangles & Basic Die set, die cut the aperture out of the middle of the paper on an angle. Die cut the eyelet frame using the larger eyelet rectangle die and the plain edge die and then adhere to the aperture as shown. Add to the front of the card using two layers of heavy cardboard.
Stamp two medium size pine cones and several small pine cone images from the HCPC-3917 Festive Pine Cones Stamp set in Back Onyx ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape and add the two larger pine cones to the top right of the rectangle with foam squares. Add the smaller pine cones around the larger pine cones with foam tape as shown.
Stamp the poinsettia images from the HCPC-3881 Christmas Poinsettia & Holly Stamp set in Vermillion ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping paper. Colour the centres with Vermillion ink and die cut with the coordinating dies. Assemble with two of the same size and add Frosting Powder using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add Heart of Gold Prills to the centres of the flowers and adhere to the top left over the pine cones and the bottom right of the rectangle.
Stamp the holly leaf images from the HCPC-3881 Christmas Poinsettia & Holly Stamp set in Library Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse and Fern Green inks and die cut with the coordinating dies. Add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere around the poinsettias as shown.
Add small pine cones around the poinsettias and holly with foam tape.
Add Crystal Clear glitter to the red stamens, trim and adhere as shown around the poinsettias, holly and pine cones.
Inside card – cut a 6” x 6” coordinating panel out of the paper collection and trim to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to the inside of the card with a piece of heavy cardboard 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″.
I hope I have inspired you to get started with your Christmas cards with the beautiful Snowy Pines collection.
