Welcome back and today I have three elegant cards that I have made for a custom order. A few weeks back I made three small thank you cards for a bride to give to her bridesmaids and she was very happy with them and came back to request three thank you cards for her parents and family. I was very happy to have a play with lots of products and some new Creative Expressions Pearl Ivory cardstock. Here are the three cards:
And this is the card that I made three off for the bride:
Today I have a quick post showing a card I have just completed for a custom order. I have just received the new Becca Feeken range of Spellbinders dies and I just had to have a play with the Victoriana Crest and it is just gorgeous! It paired beautifully with the Flowering Dogwood paper and flowers from Heartfelt Creations of course!
I also took a photo of the difference Rajni Chawla’s Frosting Powder and Crystal Clear makes to the finish of a card.

Die cut the numbers from the Victorian Numbers die set on white cardstock and adhere to the centre of the frame as shown. Add Nuvo drops to the sides of the numbers.
To make the flowers stamp the largest and second largest flowers from the Flowering Dogwood stamp set in Pearlescent Coral. Sponge the centres with New Sprout and die cut the flowers using the coordinating die. Sponge the edges of the flowers with the Pearlescent Coral and shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Adhere the petals together as shown. Using the Glue Gloss add Rajni Chawla’s Frosting Powder to the petals and heat for a frosted finish. Die cut the stamens from the green cardstock and roll up and adhere to the centre of the larger flowers. Using Dries Clear glue adhere the prills to the centres of the stamens and the smaller flowers. Adhere to the card as shown.
To make the leaves stamp the leaves from the Flowering Dogwood stamp set in Bamboo Leaves. Sponge the leaves in New Sprout and then die cut using the coordinating die. Shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit. Sponge the leaves with the Glue Gloss and sprinkle the Crystal Clear and allow to dry before adhering to the card as shown.
Stamp the sentiment from the Small Classic Petunia stamp set in Pearlescent Coral on white cardstock and die cut the shape from the Everyday Heroes die. Adhere to the card on the lower right as shown.
I love making layered cards with lots different nesting dies and this card features that technique. This time I have gone with white and pink cardstock for the base dies to combine with pink Flowering Dogwood flowers and green leaves. If you have flowers already made up then it won’t take long to put this card together. Just change the sentiments to suit the occasion.

When I make new designs I often make several cards using the same theme and flowers and this one is another card I made using the lovely lace edge die from Spellbinders, and I have teamed it with a beautiful embossing folder from Anna Griffin. The lovely sparkle on the roses comes from Rajni Chawla’s Frosting Powder. It is an amazing product that totally transforms your flowers and is currently being released worldwide.
Materials Used:
Cardstock – Shimmer cardstock, White cardstock, Purchased base card 7” x 5”
Dies – Spellbinders A2 Devine Eloquence, Graceful Floral Lace, Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose, Classic Rose Vines

I have used a pre-cut 7” x 5” card base but you can cut your own using a piece of white 10” x 7” cardstock and scoring at 5” along the long side and fold in half for your card.
Die cut the lace edge out from the shimmer cardstock and then emboss using the instructions for your die cut machine. Adhere to the bottom edge of the card. Cut a piece of shimmer cardstock at 7” x 2 ½” and adhere to the top of the card. Cut a strip of shimmer card 7” x ¾” and emboss using the lattice embossing folder. Adhere to the card as shown and line each edge with a pearl strip.
To make the sentiment frame die cut the small frame from the Devine Eloquence set and then emboss the die for a textured finish. Adhere to the centre of the card using a double layer of foam squares to give height to go over the pearls. Add the peelcraft sentiment.
To make the flowers stamp with Coral Rose ink, sponge the colour over the stamped images and then die cut. Shape the roses using the Deluxe Shaping kit. Once flowers are completed spray with spray adhesive and sprinkle Crystal glitter over them for a sparkly finish.

Trim the leaves and add to the top right corner and bottom left corner using a combination of Dries Clear adhesive and foam squares. Add the flowers as shown.

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 5” x 7” and then using the leafy edge from the Delicate Border Basic set die cut each end of the cardstock. Cut a piece of patterned paper 5” x 6” and using the plain cutting edge and the stitch edge from the Classic Border Basics die cut the edges. Cut an oval out of the centre of the patterned paper.

Adhere the patterned paper oval into the centre and then adhere the entire frame to the base card.
To make the flowers and branches I have stamped the images from the Flowering Dogwood and Flowering Dogwood & Doves sets with Colorbox Frost White ink and embossed with Ranger Bridal Tinsel on vellum. Colour the back of the images with Bamboo Leaves and Angel Pink. Die cut and using the Deluxe Shaping Kit shape the flowers and leaves. Add the Lettuce Entertain You Prills to the centre of the flowers.Cut the fronds of the branches in half and arrange around the oval frame. Place the flowers as shown in the card.

Colour the back of the image with the white ink and then die cut. Shape using the Deluxe shaping kit and adhere to the centre of the frame with Art Glitter Dries Clear adhesive. Add the second dove over top and fold the wings until they stand out for depth and dimension.
Paint all the flowers and dove with the Spectum Noir Clear Sparkle Overlay for a lovely sparkly finish.
Finally die cut the tag using the Luggage, Tags and Labels die and adhere to the card.
I have been meaning to do this triple easel card for sometime as it has intrigued me in how it was done. I got very good instructions on how to make a triple easel card from Creative Expressions and this is my version of the card. I can’t find the original post but here is another post with a triple easel card featuring different dies here. It will give you the general idea about constructing a triple easel card.
The original easel card just featured the Fleur de Lis Squares from Spellbinders but I decided to use the Labels 22 from Spellbinders more prominently and was happy with the result as the card was much stronger as well. Of course I had to put some flowers on the card and the vellum flowers from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp and die set was perfect for the soft romantic finish to the card.
I have used Bridal Tinsel embossing powder on vellum for a sparkly effect and it paired up well with the Angel Pink ink from Memento for just the softest of romantic touches to the white card. The pearls on the Tied Together embossing folder from Couture Creations just finished off the card. It is a small card and when folded up should fit in a standard A2 envelope and should be reasonably easy to post.
Here are the side views of the card:
Materials used:
Cardstock – Timbrels White Cardstock
Vellum
Stamps – CTMH Just Sayin’ Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose
Dies – Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose, Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares, Labels 22, Fancy Frames Tags Two
Today I am featuring some cards that I have just made. I know that foil card has been around for a while, but I have only just discovered it and I LOVE the effects and contrasts you can get with it. I love the elegance combining gold and cream and they work well with a 50th anniversary card. And of course I had to use the Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp and die sets to add the flowers and embellishments.
This first card has been inspired by Jeannie Donnolly I had seen on Pinterest.
I find it difficult making two cards the same and this one is no exception. I had actually cut one of the Maggie dies incorrectly but ended up layering the dies under the main die image and used the Classic Border Basics cutting die from Heartfelt Creations to cut a strip to cover the gap and I was happy how it turned out.
The Gold Majestic Circle die from Spellbinders is a very interesting die with lots of lovely embossed textures on it and once again it is lovely for numbers for a milestone card.
Finally, here is a card that I made that has no sentiment for any occasion but I think it looks very elegant for a special occasion. I often get requests for plain unadorned cards.
This week I have got two cards for you. I have been playing with the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms stamp and die and glitter.
I was really pleased with how these flowers turned out and used these cards as practice. I am looking forward to my order coming on Monday with the new edge dies and fold out cards where I have an idea for using them so watch this space…
Flower Making Tutorial:
I have stamped the flowers with Memento Lilac Posies and sponged the centres with Memento New Sprout before cutting out.
I then die cut the flowers out and sponged the edges with the Memento Lilac Posies.
I spritzed the back with some water and shaped the flowers using my Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
After leaving the layers to dry I then glued the flowers together with Art Glitter Dries Clear Glue.
I then used the glue on the edges of the petal and applied prisma glitter on the glue when I then left to dry.
To finish the flowers I have put some more glue in the centres of the flowers and sprinkled some Lettuce Entertain You Prills.
For the leaves I have stamped with Memento Northern Pine. I then used a sponge dauber to colour the leaves with Memento New Sprout. I then used a sponge to sponge Memento Bamboo Leaves on the edges to create some dimension.
Materials used:
Cardstock – CTMH White Daisy, American Crafts Patterned cardstock – lilac (I think)
