This week I am featuring some sympathy cards that I have made with a white on white theme. I struggle to put sentiments on some of my cards as I find the sentiments detract from the artwork and these cards were no exception. I do think sometimes no words are needed though.
I have used a combination of Spellbinders dies embellished with Heartfelt Classic Roses to make these cards.
Cardstock – Timbrels White Cardstock, Bazzill Smooth White Cardstock
Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black, New Sprout
Stamps – Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose, CTMH Just Sayin’
Dies – Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose, Spellbinders Sue Wilson Pine Leaf,
Use a misting spray bottle lightly spray the back of the die cuts with water.
I used my stylus from the Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Shaping Kit to shape the petals over and squeeze the ends. It is hard to show what I did with a still photo but I did not use the slot in the stylus – I bent the petals over the stylus. For the very small flowers I just squeezed each petal.
I then pressed in the middle to create a bowl shape.
I then let the flowers dry thoroughly before putting them together.
