A Merry Santa Christmas

Kia Ora Koutou

Christmas has snuck up on me very fast this year and I have been busy making last minute Christmas cards using Spellbinders and Amazing Paper Grace products. I like to give my doctor and his practice some nice chocolates and a handcrafted card. It has been a very hard year for the doctors and I have always received excellent support and help and I wanted to show my appreciation for all that they have done. They were so happy with my gift.

I have been inspired by Bibiana Cameron who has created beautiful Christmas cards using Glimmer Hot Foil background plates and Amazing Paper Grace Seasonal Motifs. For my project today I have created a shaped card using the Amazing Paper Grace Rectangle Postage Edge dies and added a gorgeous background using the lovely Spellbinders Glimmering Swag hot foil plate. I created a label using the Amazing Paper Grace Winter Label Motif dies and then added a very cute Spellbinders Santa. I have finished the card using the sentiment dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Happy Occasions Dies and some glitter to Santa’s hat with some Bearly Art Glue.

I then created a separate label and added it to my wrapped gift.

Golden Anniversary

Kia Ora Koutou

Have you have die cut or hot foiled a project and missed a part! Well I did that with the beautiful Magnolia Glimmer Blooms Hot Foil Plate. I had cut off part of a leaf but rather than throw it away I decided to create a card with it. I have combined the magnolia image with the Geo Foliage Hot Plate and Foil Plate and Die set for a golden wedding anniversary card.

All products used in this card are from Spellbinders and purchased privately.

The diagonal foil is from the Diagonal Glimmer Stripes Hot Foil Plate. I love how it creates a gorgeous background.

The frame is from the Geo Foliage Hot Foil Plate and Die set.

The sentiment is from the Sentiments Everyday Hot Foil and Plate Set.

Please follow me on Instagram where I will be showing a short reel on how this card has come together.

Pretty in Silver and Pink

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I have a different sort of card to what I usually make.  I have used Spellbinders dies and the sentiment is a Glimmer Hot Foil plate  from Becca Feeken.  Hot foiling is fabulous for quick and easy sentiments and designs.  The flowers are from Tattered Lace and the background paper is from the local Warehouse Stationary.  The silver card has not photographed well but it does look a lot better in person.
