Celebrate with Honey Bee Stamps Magnolia Honey Cuts

Kia ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I have a sweet celebration card to share with you that would be perfect for any occasion for celebration be it a wedding, birthday or a special milestone. For my card I have used the gorgeous Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers – Dogwood Honey Cuts dies to create a pretty floral accent to the embossed background and beautiful layering dies from Marianne Designs. I have been enjoying mixing and matching different products from different companies to create my cards.

My Project

For my card today I have created a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card and added an embossed layer using the Honey Bee Stamps Dogwood Blooms 3D embossing folder. I am so impressed with the embossing on this folder! I have then layered the gorgeous dies from the Marianne Designs LR0376 to create a frame for the beautiful layered dogwood blooms. I have die cut two bases for the flowers out of white cardstock and after stacking them together I have used Copic markers to colour the stems. I then die cut the flowers and leaves and coloured them with green and pink inks.

To finish the card I have added a hot foiled sentiment using the Pink Fresh Studio Perfect Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and coordinating die. And then I added some iridescent gems from Taylored Expressions.

Such a quick and easy card that took longer to decide what products to use than actually make the card.

A Clean and Simple Easel Card

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I am sharing a very clean and simple easel card featuring the very beautiful Anja’s Oval Die – LR0376 from Marianne Designs.

This die set is so versatile and so easy to create stunning cards.  I love the beautiful embossing that you get with the dies and how these dies can be layered in so many ways.  I have also kept this card very simple with the use of some pearls for the easel to sit against rather than adding an extra raised layer on the base of the card.  And of course I have to finish the card with Heartfelt Creations flowers and leaves.  I have used the following products:

Marianne Designs – LR0376 Anja’s Oval Die

Heartfelt Creations – Oakberry Lane Blossoms stamp, die and mold, Leafy Accents stamp, die and mold

Ranger Archival inks – Buttercup, Vibrant Fuchsia, Magenta Hue, Leaf Green, Fern Green, Library Green
