The Sweet Peonies are such a majestic flower and combines perfectly with the new Peony and Sunflower Banner set from Heartfelt Creations to create a special occasion card.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of gold card 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut a piece of pattern paper 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the outer decorative die out of gold cardstock using the No. 1 die from the HCD2-7308 Majestic Swirls Frames Die set and adhere to the front of the card using a piece of heavy cardstock 5 1/4″ x 3 1/4”. Cut a piece of pink pattern paper 5 1/4″ x 3 1/4” and adhere to the front of the decorative die. Die cut the middle decorative out of gold cardstock using the No. 2 die from the HCD2-7308 Majestic Swirls Frames Die and adhere to the front of the card as shown. Cut a piece of pattern paper 2” x 4” and adhere to the front of the gold decorative die. Die cut the tag from the HCD2-7308 Majestic Swirls Frames Die out of gold cardstock and adhere to the front of the card as shown. 

Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3843 Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set in Obsidian ink on light pattern paper and die cut with the No. 4 die from the HCD2-7308 Majestic Swirls Frames Die set and adhere to the front of the tag.
Stamp the peony images from the HCPC-3970 Peony & Sunflower Banner Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and colour pencils and die cut with the coordinating die. Cut the banner apart and add to the front of the card with foam squares.  Add Wink of Stella to the images and then add Lemon Chiffon Prills to the flowers as shown.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3965 Summer Wreath Accents Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and colour pencils and die cut with the coordinating dies. Add Crystal Clear glitter using clear glossy gel medium and adhere to the right of the card.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3820 Large Sweet Peonies Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres with Canteloupe and Dandelion inks and the outer petals with Magenta Hue and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the edges of the petals with Lilac Posies ink and the backs of the petals with Magenta Hue ink. Shape using the 3D Basic Flower Shaping Mold and assemble using two of one size and one smaller size. Pierce the centres and insert gold coloured pearl stamens. Trim the threads and add Crystal Clear glitter using glossy gel and adhere to the right of the card as shown.

Welcome to my second post for today and this time I have some more Sweet Peonies to share with you that I have created for Heartfelt Creations. Instructions: 

Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 12” x 6”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 6” x 6”. Cut a piece of gold cardstock 6” x 6” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of pattern paper 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to the front of the card. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just For You Sentiments Stamp Set in Lilac Posies ink on the bottom right of the card. Die cut the long scallop rectangle from the HCD1-7201 Ticket & Tag Die Set out of gold cardstock. Die cut the decorative circle die from the HCD1-7283 Courtyard Elegance Die out of gold cardstock. Cut in half and then adhere behind the scallop rectangle die and then adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the long rectangle strip from the HCD1-7201 Ticket & Tag Die Set from pattern paper and adhere to the scallop rectangle.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3820 Large Sweet Peonies Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres with Cantaloupe and Dandelion inks and the outer petals with Magenta Hue and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the edges of the petals with Lilac Posies ink and the backs of the petals with Magenta Hue ink. Shape using the 3D Basic Flower Shaping Mold and assemble using two of one size and one smaller size. Pierce the centres and insert gold coloured pearl stamens. Trim the threads and add Crystal Clear glitter using glossy gel and adhere across the card front as shown.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3820 Large Sweet Peonies Cling Stamp Set in Library Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Vivid Chartreuse and Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Colour the backs of the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse ink and shape using the Groove Golf Tools. Add Crystal Clear glitter using glossy gel and adhere around the peonies.

Welcome back to Inspiration Wednesday and today I am sharing a card made using the gorgeous Peony Bud and Blossoms stamp and die set from the Sweet Peony collection from Heartfelt Creations. This is a perfect set for colourists to play with and here I have used my favourite Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of gold cardstock 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of pattern paper 4 17/8” x 6 7/8” and adhere to the front of the gold card. Die cut the decorative frame using the No. 2 and No. 3 dies from the HCD2-7309 Elaborate Oval Frames die set out of gold cardstock and adhere to the front of the card with foam strips. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just For You Sentiments Cling Stamp set in Lilac Posies inside the frame as shown with a stamp positioner.

Stamp the peony and bud images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour the images with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape and adhere under and over the frame as shown with foam squares as shown.

A Sweet Peony Birthday Card

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10″ x 7″, score at 5″ along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5″ x 7″. Cut a piece of patterned paper including the Dream again sentiment 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and adhere to the base card. Cut a piece of peony patterned paper 5″ x 7″ and die cut the diamond out of the centre of the card using the second largest diamond die. Cut a diamond frame using the largest and second largest diamond die from teal paper. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the frame with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and then adhere to the diamond opening. Add this to the card base.

Stamp the images from the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Stamp set on vellum using White Daisy ink and emboss with white embossing powder. Colour on the back with Picked Raspberry, Broken China and Wild Honey inks and die cut with the coordinating dies. Trim the flowers and shape using a groove tool. Assemble using two larger and one smaller flower for the three small petals for the smaller flower, pierce the centre of the flowers and thread through the white fluffy stamens. Glue in place with Dries Clear glue and when dry trim the stamens and then adhere around the bottom right of the card around the diamond.

Stamp the leaf images from the Leafy Accents using White Daisy ink on vellum and emboss with white embossing powder. Colour on the back with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape with the groove golf tool and adhere around the peonies.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Stamp set in Library Green ink on flower shaping cardstock. Colour in with Leaf Green and Olive inks and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape and add Crystal Clear using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and then adhere around the flowers over the leaves.

Stamp three butterfly images from the HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Stamp set in White Daisy ink on vellum. Colour with Broken China, Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey and Black Soot inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Trim the last third of the wing off the end and the body off one of the butterflies, trim the wings and shape and adhere to a base butterfly. Trim two thirds off the wing and the body of the third butterfly, trim and shape the wings and adhere over the base butterfly. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the butterfly with Dries Clear glue on a fairly dry sponge and then adhere the butterfly to the to right of the diamond as shown.

Stamp the sentiment image from the HCPC-3845 Just for You Sentiments Stamp set in White Daisy in on vellum. Die cut the sentiment out using the second smallest banner die from the HCD1-7204 Arrows and Banner Dies and shape and adhere to the bottom right as shown.

Bristol Smooth cardstock, Zig Clean Colour Brush markers, Twine, Brilliance Lavender ink, Versamagic Sweet Petunia, Versamark ink

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 10 ½” x 6” and score at 4 ½” to create the base card of 6” x 6” with the front fold being 4 ½”.   Cut a 6” x 6” panel from the paper collection and cut it at 4 ½” for the front of the card and 1 ½” at the back of the card.  Sponge all the edges with Canteloupe ink and adhere the 4 ½” piece to the front and the 1 ½” piece to the right side of the back.  Cut a piece of coordinating paper 4 ½” x 6”, sponge with cantaloupe ink and adhere to the left of the back of the card.

Stamp the gate image from the HCPC-3746 Festive Gate Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and die cut with the coordinating die.  Sponge the edges lightly with Peanut Brittle, trim the right side of the gate and adhere to the back of the card with foam tape.  Adhere the rest of the gate to the front with foam tape.

Stamp the grass image twice from the HCPC-3769 Wildwood Florals Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock, sponge with Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape and adhere to the front of the gate in the front and back of the card.

Stamp the large (2) and small peony images (1) and the large and small bud images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Versamark ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and emboss with gold embossing powder and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour the images with the Zig Clean Colour Brush markers.  Cut the centre bud from one of the large peonies and adhere to the other image with foam tape.  Add Crystal Clear to the images using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.   Adhere the peony images on the front of the gate and the buds behind the gate.

Stamp the leaf images from the both the HCD1-7173 HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Bamboo Leaves ink, colour in with New Sprout ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Sponge the edges with Bamboo Leaves and then shape, trim and adhere around the peonies as shown.

To make the small leaves stamp the images from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms Stamp set in Bamboo Leaves on white cardstock.  Colour the images with Bamboo Leaves and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere behind the fence and up the left side of the card.

To make the lilac flowers stamp the images from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms Stamp set in Lavender ink and Bamboo Leaves ink on white cardstock and die cut using the coordinating die.  Colour the leaves with Bamboo Leaves ink and then colour the flowers with Sweet Petunia ink.  Shape and adhere over the leaves behind the fence.

Stamp the rabbit image from the HCPC-3768 Woodsy Critters Stamp in Jet Black ink on Bristol Smooth cardstock and die cut with the corresponding die.  Colour in with the Zig Clean Colour Brush markers and adhere on the grass as shown.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3769 Wildwood Florals Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock, colour with Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape and adhere over the fence around the peonies as shown on the front and back of the card.

Stamp the small flower images from the HCPC-3769 Wildwood Florals Stamp set in Lavender and Rose Coral inks on white cardstock.  Colour the Lavender flowers with Sweet Petunia ink and the Rose Coral flowers with Rose Coral ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit, add Heart of Gold prills to the centres and adhere to the card around the peonies and grass as shown.  Adhere Crystal Clear to the flowers with Dries Clear on a damp sponge.

Die cut the tag image using the die from the HCD1-745 Luggage and Tags die, shape lightly and adhere to the fence post at the back of the card.  Tie a bow from twine and adhere over the tag.

Sweet Blossoming Peony

Today I have two cards in two posts.  First up I am featuring a clean and simple card with no glitter!!!  I felt that the glitter did not mix with pearls and lace on this card.

Ultimate Crafts Ornate Frame embossing folder, Foam tape, Pearls, Crafter’s Companion Construction card, Craft Knife

Instructions:

Cut a piece of cardstock 14” x 7”, score along the long side and fold to make a 7” x 7” card.

Cut a piece of the patterned striped paper 7” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut four lace borders from the … die set.  Cut a piece of dark pink paper 6” x 6” and adhere the borders to the back of this paper and then adhere to the base card.  Cut the small 4” x 4” square patterned panel from the paper collection and adhere to the centre of the pink paper. Cut a piece of white cardstock 5” x 5” and emboss with the Ornate Frame embossing folder.  Using a craft knife trim the centre out.  Adhere to the front of the pink paper with foam strips.  Cut the sentiment from the patterned paper and adhere to the centre as shown.  Adhere pearls to the sides as shown.

Stamp the large and small peony images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Rouge ink on white cardstock and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour the images in with Rouge and Canteloupe inks with the Stack and Store daubers.  Stamp the large and small peony bud images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Rouge and Bamboo Leaves ink on white cardstock.  Colour the leaves with Bamboo Leaves ink and the buds with Rouge and Canteloupe inks.  Adhere the buds and peonies to the front of the card as shown.

To finish add pearls around the white embossed border.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to make a base card of 6” x 6”.  Die cut the centre out with the largest die from the HCD1-7155 Circle Basics Large Die.  Adhere the frame to the base card with foam tape and then adhere the centre in the middle with Dries Clear glue.  Die cut the eyelet edge with the eyelet die from the HCD1-7154 Eyelet Circle & Basics – Small Die and the largest die in the HCD1-7155 Circle Basics Large Die out of the pink patterned paper and adhere to the edge of the circle.

Stamp two large peony images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Rose Coral and Rouge inks and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour the images in with Rose Coral and Rouge inks on the corresponding stamped images using the HCDA2-45 Stack and Store Daubers and adhere to the front of the card.

Stamp the images from both the HCD1-7173 HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Rouge and Rose Coral inks on white cardstock.  Colour the Rose Coral images in Rose Coral ink and the Rouge images with the Rouge ink and then die cut with the corresponding dies.  Shape the flowers using the HCFB1-464 Basic Flower Shaping Mold, allow to dry and assemble with a combination of the large and small images to make the flowers.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.  Adhere over the stamped peony images as shown.

Stamp the bud images from the HCPC-3821 Peony Bud and Blossom Cling Stamp set in Rose Coral and Rouge inks and colour in with the Rose Coral and Rouge inks with a touch of Canteloupe ink on the corresponding images and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Shape and adhere around the large peonies.  Add Crystal Clear using Dries Clear on a damp sponge.

Stamp the leaf images from the both the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Bamboo Leaves ink and colour in with New Sprout ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Sponge the edges with Bamboo Leaves and then shape, trim and adhere around the peonies as shown.

To make the small leaves stamp the images from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms Stamp set in Bamboo Leaves on white cardstock.  Colour the images with Bamboo Leaves and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere around the peonies to the left and right of the card among the peonies.

To finish cut the sentiment out of the patterned paper and adhere to the top left of the card as shown.

Today for Inspiration Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations I have two projects to show you.  First is a card that features both the Lush Lilacs and the gorgeous  Sweet Peony.  I think the paper I have used on this card is my favourite from this set.  It is gorgeous and so subtle and beautiful in a background.

Other – iCraft wooden embellishment, Apple Blossom Swirly Flourish embossing folder, foam tape, Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender, Versamagic Sweet Petunia

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock at 10” x 7”, score at 5” to create a base card of 7” x 5”.  Cut a piece of white cardstock 6” x 6” and emboss using the Swirly Flourish embossing folder.  Cut each end of the embossed card 2” x 5” and adhere to the top and bottom of the card.  Cut a piece of the patterned paper 7” x 5” and cut each end using the plain cutting edge of the …  Die cut 2 pieces of the eyelet pattern trim in white cardstock and adhere to the edges of the cut paper.  Trim the edges and then adhere the paper to the base card with foam tape.

Die cut the largest eyelet oval from the HCD1-7157 Eyelet Oval & Basics Large in white cardstock.  Die cut the smallest eyelet oval from the HCD1-7156 Eyelet Oval & Basics Small in the pink patterned paper and adhere to the white oval.  Stamp the image from the HCPC-3815 Words of Comfort Stamp in Tuxedo Black on white cardstock and then die cut this out with the largest plain oval die from the HCD1-7156 Eyelet Oval & Basics Small die set.  Adhere to the eyelet oval stack and then adhere to the card.  Adhere the wooden flourish to the left of the oval.

Stamp the images from both the HCD1-7173 HCPC-3t9 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Rouge ink on white cardstock.  Colour the images in Rouge ink and then die cut with the corresponding dies.  Shape the flowers using the HCFB1-464 Basic Flower Shaping Mold, allow to dry and assemble with a combination of the large and small images to make large flowers and buds.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.  Adhere at the bottom of the card as shown.

Stamp the leaf images from the both the HCD1-7173 HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp in Bamboo Leaves ink on white cardstock.  Colour with New Sprout ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges and centres with Bamboo Leaves ink, shape and adhere around the peony as shown.

Stamp two large lilac spray from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and colour in with Lavender ink for the flowers and Bamboo Leaves ink for the leaves.  Trim and adhere above the peony – one behind the other.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Lavender ink, sponge with the Lavender ink and the Sweet Petunia ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry and adhere the lilacs l over the large lilac sprays.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Glue Gloss with Dries Clear Glue on a damp sponge.

To make the small leaves stamp the images from the HCPC-3811 Rain Boots and Blossoms Stamp set in Bamboo Leaves on white cardstock.  Colour the images with Bamboo Leaves and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere around the peonies to the left and right of the peony.

Stamp the dandelion images in Tuxedo Black ink, colour with Bamboo Leaves ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Add micro beads to the centre with Dries Clear glue and allow to dry.  Add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue and adhere the dandelions to the card around the lilacs at the top.

Other – Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender, Hot Glue Gun, Pink Ribbon, White Organza Ribbon, Bow maker, Florist Tape, Stazon Pink Cherry ink, Forest Green ink

Instructions:

Stamp the images from HCPC-3819 Small Sweet Peony Cling Stamp and HCPC-3820 Large Sweet Peony Cling Stamps in Cherry Pink ink on Art Foam Paper and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour with Rouge ink.  Heat, shape and assemble with a hot glue gun.  Insert three yellow stamens in the centre and set them with hot glue.

Stamp the leaves with Forest Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour in with Lime Pastel ink and the green stamp paint.  Heat and shape and adhere to the base of the peony with hot glue.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Cling Stamp in Pearlescent Lavender ink, sponge with the Lavender ink and die cut with the corresponding die.  Shape the lilacs with the HCFB1-466 Lush Lilac Mold, allow to dry and insert a stamen and set with hot glue.   Add Crystal Clear glitter to the lilacs with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.  Twist several lilac stems together to create a 3d lilac effect and add to the stamen stem of the peony to make a corsage.  Apply florist tape to the stem.

Die cut the tag dies and adhere them to the stem with hot glue.  Make a double bow with the organza and satin ribbons and adhere over the tags.
