Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of dark green patterned paper from the Calla Lily paper collection and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the outer frame from the green and yellow checked paper using the outer plain edge frame die from the HCD2-7309 Elaborate Oval Frames Die set, sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the front of the card.

Die cut three decorative frames from white cardstock using the outer decorative die and the outer plain edge die, adhere all three together and add Frosting Powder with spray adhesive before adding to the front of the card as shown. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3846 Thank You Sentiment Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on light green/yellow patterned paper and die cut out using the middle plain edge die, sponge with Firefly ink and adhere to the centre of the frame. Die cut two decorative frames using the inner decorative frame and the inner oval plain edge die, adhere together and add Frosting Powder with spray adhesive and adhere to the centre of the card as shown.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Firefly ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold and when dry, add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere on the bottom right around the oval as shown.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres of the flowers with Tiger Lily ink and the outer petals with Magenta Hue ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges with Cactus Lily ink and the backs of the flowers with Magenta Hue ink and then shape using the coordinating mold. Assemble the flowers with two layers and then add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add the flowers over the leaves. Add Go Man Go Prills to the centres with Dries Clear glue.

My first post features the Decorative Circles Frame die set decorated with some Oakberry Lane flowers and the gorgeous Wild Aster Spray.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of dark green patterned paper from the Calla Lily paper collection and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the outer frame die from the HCD2-7306 Decorative Circle Frames Die set from the light green patterned paper and sponge the edges with Firefly ink. Die cut a piece of heavy cardboard using the same die and then adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the decorative outer die out of white cardstock using the outer decorative die and add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and then adhere to the outer frame as shown. Cut a circle out of light green patterned paper using the largest circle die from the HCD1-7155 Circle Basics – Large Die set, sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the middle of the decorative die. Die cut the eyelet circle out of dark green paper using the largest eyelet circle die from the HCD2-7306 Decorative Circle Frames Die set and adhere to the middle of the plain green patterned paper circle. Die cut a plain circle from light green patterned paper using the second largest die from the HCD1-7155 Circle Basics – Large Die set, sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the centre of the eyelet circle. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just for You Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on the bottom right of the circle as shown with a stamp positioner. Die cut three eyelet frames out of white cardstock using the second largest eyelet circle die and the third largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7154 Eyelet Circle Basics – Small Die set and adhere together. Die cut another frame out of dark green paper and adhere to the top of the frame and adhere to the circle as shown.

Stamp the spray image from the HCPC-3888 Wild Aster Spray Stamp set in Hero Arts Embossing ink on the vellum and heat emboss with the white embossing powder before die cutting with the coordinating die. Add Snow White Flower Pearls to the spray and Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue before adhering to the left of the circle as shown.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Firefly ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold and when dry, add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere over and around the Aster Spray as shown.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres of the flowers with Tiger Lily ink and the outer petals with Magenta Hue ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges with Cactus Lily ink and the backs of the flowers with Magenta Hue ink and then shape using the coordinating mold. Assemble the flowers with two layers as well as some buds with single layers and then add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add the flowers and buds over and around the leaves and the Aster spray. Add Go Man Go Prills to the centres with Dries Clear glue.

A Quiet Elegance

Welcome back to my final post and for this card I have once again used the Royal Elegance Frame dies in a very understated way.  This card is perfect for posting.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” x 7” and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of white cardstock 4 15/16” x 6 15/16” and adhere to the front of the card with a piece of 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ heavy cardboard.

Die cut the base die out of white cardstock using the outer plain edge die from the HCD2-7307 Royal Elegance Frames Die set and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut a decorative die from white cardstock using the outer decorative die and the inner decorative die. Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive. Repeat with gold cardstock and adhere the white decorative die to the gold decorative die offsetting the dies to have a gold edge. Adhere to the front of the card.

Die cut the inner frame die from the HCD2-7307 Royal Elegance Frames Die set out of gold cardstock. Die cut a frame out of gold cardstock using the inner frame die and the plain edge oval die and adhere to the previously cut gold frame. Adhere this frame to the front of the card with foam tape.

Die cut the inner oval using the plain edge oval die and adhere to the centre of the frame. Die cut the middle decorative die out of gold cardstock and white cardstock. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3847 Celebrate Love Sentiments Stamp set in the Hero Arts Embossing ink using a stamp positioner and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Adhere the white decorative die to the gold decorative die and slightly offset the dies to have a gold edge and adhere to the centre of the white oval. Die cut the inner decorative die from the HCD2-7307 Royal Elegance Frames Die set out of gold cardstock and adhere to the front framing the sentiment.

Die cut the outer decorative frame die from white cardstock, add Frosting Powder with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the front of the card with a piece of heavy cardboard 3 1/4″ x 5 1/4″. Cut a piece of light green patterned paper 3 1/4” x 5 1/4″, sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the white decorative frame. Die cut the middle decorative frame from white cardstock, add Frosting Powder to the decorative edge with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and then adhere to the centre of the decorative frame with a piece of heavy cardboard 2” x 4”. Cut a piece of light green patterned paper 2” x 4”, sponge the edges with Firefly ink and adhere to the middle of the middle decorative frame. Die cut the inner decorative tag from white cardstock, add Frosting Powder to the ends with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the centre of the card with a piece of heavy cardboard as shown. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just for You Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on green patterned paper and die cut out using the smallest die . Sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the centre of the inner tag.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Firefly ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold and when dry add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere on the top and bottom of the tag as shown.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres of the flowers with Tiger Lily ink and the outer petals with Magenta Hue ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges with Cactus Lily ink and the backs of the flowers with Magenta Hue ink and then shape using the coordinating mold. Assemble the flowers with two layers and then add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add the flowers over the leaves. Add Go Man Go Prills to the centres with Dries Clear glue.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold. Place the outer Royal Elegance Frames Die over the folded card with one edge slightly over the folded side and die cut to create the shaped card. Die cut an outer frame from white cardstock and adhere to the front of the shaped card. Die cut an outer frame from light green patterned paper, sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the card front. Die cut the outer decorative frame from white cardstock using the largest and second largest decorative dies, add Frosting Powder with spray adhesive and then adhere to the front of the card. Die cut two decorative dies from white cardstock using the second largest decorative die and the outer plain edge oval die and adhere together. Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and adhere to the card front as shown. Die cut the inner oval from checked patterned paper using the outer plain edge oval die, sponge the edge with Firefly ink and adhere to the centre of the card. Die cut the inner decorative frame from white cardstock and adhere to the centre of the oval. Die cut two frames using the inner decorative frame and smallest plain edge oval die from white cardstock. Adhere together and add Frosting Powder with spray adhesive and adhere to the inner frame. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3846 Thank You Sentiment Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on green and yellow patterned paper and die cut using the inner oval frame die, sponge with Firefly ink and adhere to the centre of the oval.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Mountain Pine ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Firefly ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold and when dry add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere on the top left and bottom right around the oval as shown.

Stamp the flower images from the HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Stamp set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres of the flowers with Tiger Lily ink and the outer petals with Magenta Hue ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges with Cactus Lily ink and the backs of the flowers with Magenta Hue ink and then shape using the coordinating mold. Assemble the flowers with two layers and then add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add the flowers over and around the leaves. Add Go Man Go Prills to the centres with Dries Clear glue.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of patterned paper 5” x 7” and adhere to the card front. Die cut two outer frames using the dies from the HCD1-7191 Intricate Swirls Frames Die set out of Wisteria card. Adhere one frame to the card front and add Crystal Clear glitter to the other frame with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere to the other frame with foam tape. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the inner decorative die and then adhere to the centre of the frame.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3897 Calla Lily Stamp Set in Library Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Leaf Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die and sponge the edges with Library Green ink. Shape using the coordinating mold, add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the right front of the card.

Stamp the calla lily images from the HCPC-3897 Calla Lily Stamp Set in Leaf Green and Lavender inks on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the tips and ends of the green flowers with Leaf Green ink and the base with Sunflower ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Colour the purple flowers with Lavender and Leaf Green inks and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape using the coordinating mold and add green stamens. Trim the wire ends and adhere among the leaves.

Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3848 Cheerful Note Sentiment Stamp set in Library ink on the patterned paper and die cut out using the 2nd smallest die from the HCD1-7204 Arrows and Banner Die set. Mat with Wisteria cardstock and shape a little and add to the card as shown.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of patterned paper 5” x 7” and adhere to the card front. Die cut two decorative dies from the HCD1-7192 Eyelet Lace Frame Die set out of white cardstock and adhere together. Add Frosting Powder to the decorative die using spray adhesive. Adhere to the card front using foam tape.

Stamp the flower and leaf images from the HCPC-3898 Feathery Swan Cling Stamp Set and HCPC-3899 Swan Lake Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour the images with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape and add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a dry sponge. Adhere to the centre of the decorative die.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3897 Calla Lily Stamp Set in Fern Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Leaf Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold, add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the front of the card.

Stamp the calla lily images from the HCPC-3897 Calla Lily Stamp Set in Sunflower ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the tips and ends with Sunflower ink and the base with Buttercup ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold and add the yellow stamens. Add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge, trim the wires and nestle between the leaves.

Stamp the swan with baby cygnets’ image from the HCPC-3899 Swan Lake Cling Stamp Set using Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Add Sparkling Dust using Dries Clear glue on a dry sponge, shape and adhere to the bottom of the card as shown with foam tape.

Die cut the small tag out of the paper collection using the coordinating die from the HCD1-7201 Ticket & Tags Die set and adhere to the top of the card as shown. To finish, add pearls to the tag and to the decorative die.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” and fold to create a base card 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of patterned paper 4 15/16” x 6 15/16”. Using the middle plain edge die from the HCD1-7248 Regal Frame & Accents Die set die cut the middle out. Die cut the outer decorative die with the centre die cut from the HCD1-7248 Regal Frame & Accents Die set out of white cardstock. Sponge with Leaf Green ink and add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive. Adhere to the front of the paper. Adhere the paper to the front of the card using foam tape. Die cut the inner lattice die out of white cardstock, sponge with Leaf Green ink and add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive. Adhere this frame to the front of the previously cut inner paper and then adhere to the centre recess as shown.

Stamp the flower and leaf images from the HCPC-3898 Feathery Swan Cling Stamp Set and HCPC-3899 Swan Lake Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour the images with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape and add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a dry sponge. Adhere up the right side of the card as shown using foam tape.

Die cut the ticket from the paper collection using the coordinating die from the HCD1-7201 Ticket & Tags Die set and adhere to the left of the card as shown.

Stamp the swan image out of the HCPC-3898 Feathery Swan Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour the image with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Add Sparkling Dust to the image using Dries Clear on a dry sponge. Adhere to the bottom of the frame as shown with foam tape.

Welcome back for Inspiration Wednesday at Heartfelt Creations and today I have two projects for you.

I love the subtle colours of the Calla Lily Paper collection and the gorgeous swans and for my first project I have combined the two to create a card that is perfect for a wedding card.  I have used the lovely heart dies, the Sweetheart Borders die and the swans themselves to create a heart motif that any bride and groom would love in a wedding card.  Don’t you just love the gorgeous cottage in this paper?

Instructions:

 Cut a piece of white cardstock 12” x 6”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 6” x 6”. Cut a piece of patterned paper 6” x 6” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of yellow cardstock 5 3/4” x 5 3/4″ and the cut a piece of light green patterned paper 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to the yellow card. Die cut the heart out of the centre of the card using the largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7162 Eyelet Hearts Die. Die cut a heart frame out of white cardstock using the largest eyelet heart die and the largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7162 Eyelet Hearts Die set. Add Frosting Powder to the frame using adhesive spray and adhere to the previously cut heart. Die cut another smaller eyelet heart frame out of white cardstock using the second largest eyelet heart die and the largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7162 Eyelet Hearts Die set. Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive to the frame and then adhere to the bigger heart frame. Adhere this panel to the card front with foam tape. Die cut the cottage image out of a 6” x 6” panel and add Diamond glitter to the image before adding to the heart aperture.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3898 Feathery Swan Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris Cardstock. Colour the images with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape and add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a dry sponge. Adhere to the sides of the heart.

Die cut the decorative die from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders Die set out of white cardstock. Add Frosting Powder with spray adhesive and adhere to the bottom of the top layer.

Stamp the swans from the HCPC-3898 Feathery Swan Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour the images with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Add Sparkling Dust to the swans and then adhere to the front of the decorative die and leaves.

Stamp the swan with calla lily flowers and leaves from the HCPC-3899 Swan Lake Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour the image with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape the calla lily flowers and leaves images and add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a dry sponge. Adhere to either side of the swans as shown.

Trim the sentiment from the paper collection and mat with patterned paper from the paper collection and adhere to the front of the card as shown.

Cut a piece of yellow cardstock 5 15/16” x 5 15/16” and adhere to the inside of the card. Cut a piece of checked paper 5 3/4” x 5 3/4″ and adhere to the inside over the yellow card.

To finish, add Diamond glitter to the front of the card with Dries Clear glue.

Heartfelt Sympathy Booklet Card

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of patterned paper 5” x 7”, sponge the edge with Sunflower ink and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the outer decorative die from the HCD1-7261 Booklet Frame Dies out of white cardstock. Add Frosting Powder to the decorative edge with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the card front. Die cut the next page using the largest die from the HCD1-7260 Booklet Basics Die set out of green patterned paper, sponge the edge with Sunflower ink and adhere to the front of the decorative die. Die cut the middle decorative die from the HCD1-7261 Booklet Frame Dies out of white cardstock. Add Frosting Powder to the decorative edge with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the front of the green patterned paper. Die cut the next page using the third largest die from the HCD1-7260 Booklet Basics Die set out of green patterned paper, sponge the edge with Sunflower ink and adhere to the front of the decorative die.

Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3848 Cheerful Note Sentiment Stamp set in Versamark ink on white cardstock and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Die cut this out with the fourth largest plain die from the HCD1-7260 Booklet Basics Die set and adhere to the front of the card.

Die cut the bookmark out of white cardstock and adhere down the middle of book as shown.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3897 Calla Lily Stamp Set in Fern Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Leaf Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold, add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the right side of the book.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3897 Calla Lily Stamp Set in Fern Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Leaf Green ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the coordinating mold, add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge and adhere to the right side of the book.

Add a white satin bow to the base of the flowers.
