Amazing Paper Grace Make A Scene Rolling Along

Kia ora Koutou

I was asked to make a card for a workmate of my husband who was leaving his job for another position. I struggle to make masculine cards but Amazing Paper Grace came to the rescue. I had done a similar card to this when the Amazing Paper Grace Make A Scene collection came out so I thought I would change the colour combinations to a white and blue and make a scene with the Make a Scene Rolling Along Scene dies. The bicycle was symbolic of his workmate moving onto the next job with best wishes from the team. Apparently he was quite a keen gardener so I made lot of different flowers to decorate the card. He came up to my husband to say thank you for the card and he loved it so I was very happy.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project:

I have made a 5″ x 7″ card and added some pretty background paper to fit on the front. I die cut the frame using the outline die and the outer frame dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Filigree Facade Frame dies from white and blue cardstock. I die cut the fence from the Amazing Paper Grace Cozy Home dies in white and adhered it behind the frame as shown. I then added the frame to the front of the card with foam tape. I die cut the house out of blue cardstock and all the accessories out of white cardstock, assembled them and adhered to the centre of the card behind the fence. I die cut an extra house out of white cardstock and trimmed the hedge and base and inked them with green ink and adhered to the base house.

I decorated the ‘garden’ using flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Cozy Home Scene, Rolling Along Scene and Perfect Picture Window Scene dies and added them to the front of the house and behind the fence.

I used the bicycle from the Amazing Paper Grace Rolling Along Scene dies and added it to the bottom right with foam squares. I decorated this with leaves and flowers from the same set. I added a little dog in front of the house and a rabbit on the bottom right of the card.

To finish the card I have added the sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace Bold Greetings set. I die cut two sets – one from silver and one from grey and stacked them together with the grey set behind the silver set to add a shadow and allow the sentiment to stand out more. I then added some flowers around the sentiment.

Amazing Paper Grace | Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection Intro Blog Hop

I love the calm serenity of white lilies – they are so beautiful as a wedding bouquet or equally stunning to express your sympathy. Today I have a card that is perfect for a beloved friend for all occasions and I have also created a coordinating basket to fill with special treats. (Here I have filled the basket with small chocolate Easter Eggs). These flowers are so easy to create and look so stunning as a single flower or as a bunch of flowers.

Projects for today’s post were used with dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace.

My Projects for Today

For my card I have used the S4-1198 Amazing Paper Grace Half Slimline Oval Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken to create a white on white decorative background.

I have decorated the card with the S4-1192 Amazing Paper Grace Layered Lilies Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken.

I have used stacked three layers of the sentiment together to create more depth and allow the sentiment to ‘pop’.

The green leaves really stand out from the white background and help to accentuate the white flowers.

This card is quite flat and will be easy to post – always a bonus.

The butterfly from the S6-183 Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken adds a gorgeous finishing touch.

I have added pearls to accentuate the gorgeous background die.

The S4-1198 Amazing Paper Grace Half Slimline Oval Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken also contains some pretty little flowers and leaves and here I have attempted to have pretty blue flowers cascading out of the oval and decorating the sentiment.

For my basket I have created a basic 4″ x 4 x 1 3/4″ box and embellished the box with the dies from the S4-1198 Amazing Paper Grace Half Slimline Oval Etched Dies from the Layered Fleur Bouquet Slimlines Collection by Becca Feeken. I have covered the joins with lilies and the tiny flowers from the same die set. The decorative handle has been created using the S4-1165 Amazing Paper Grace Romantic Slimline Borders Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken. I have finished the box with some gorgeous butterflies from the S6-183 Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken.

Kia Ora Koutou

I have made it using a combination of products as Heartfelt Creations do not have a baby collection.

Pretty in Silver and Pink

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I have a different sort of card to what I usually make.  I have used Spellbinders dies and the sentiment is a Glimmer Hot Foil plate  from Becca Feeken.  Hot foiling is fabulous for quick and easy sentiments and designs.  The flowers are from Tattered Lace and the background paper is from the local Warehouse Stationary.  The silver card has not photographed well but it does look a lot better in person.

Roses for Mother’s Day

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I would like to share another Mother’s Day card that I have made with Heartfelt Creations Classic Roses and some Spellbinders dies.

I was inspired by Sabrina from Aspiring to Creativity for the lacy background but of course I had to add some Classic Roses.  I was really happy with how it turned out with all the texture and the combination of gold and ivory which makes the flowers and leaves to pop.

Merry Christmas

Kia Ora Koutou Meri Kirihimete

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2019.  There are going to be some major changes for me and I will be able to stretch and challenge myself on my artistic journey.  I am really looking forward to be able to spend more time on my art.

For my last post before Christmas I have a Christmas card I have made for a dear friend who has had a very challenging year and I hope that next year will be a much better year for her.

I have used Becca Feeken’s Grand Arch dies along with Heartfelt Creations flowers and images.  They make a perfect combination.

Once again I wish you all the best for the holiday season and I hope that you get some crafty time for yourself.
