Amazing Paper Grace Away in the Manger

I really love the versatility of the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes and I also love the beautiful vignette scenes as well where you can layer a 3D scene very quickly, including the sentiment for any occasion. Today’s Christmas card has a nativity scene made using the Amazing Paper Grace Grand Lattice Arch Dies with the Amazing Paper Grace Nativity. Layering Set Dies in a classic and elegant white and gold combination. I have made the nativity scene the focal point of the card by using foam strips to layer the vignette in the centre of the card and making it pop from the stunning background die. I have finished the card with some white and gold poinsettias from the Amazing Paper Grace November 2020 Die of the Month Pop up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh Dies.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

My finished card is 5″ x 5 1/2″ and the base is layered in gold and white card. I die cut a plain frame and a gold frame using the Amazing Paper Grace Grand Lattice Arch Dies and adhered them together.

I die cut two star ‘ray’ vigentte dies – one from gold card and one from white card and adhered them together with the gold slightly offset. I then die cut the nativity scene from white card and two sentiment vignettes from gold card. I adhered the two sentiment vignettes together and then layered all the vignettes together with foam strips.

I die cut a plain insert out of white card and ink blended yellow and green inks and added it behind all the vignettes.

I then added the frame to the front of the card with foam tape and then added the vignettes to the centre of the frame.

To finish I added some pearls to the star ‘rays’ and the white poinsettias and gold foliage to the top left of the card.

Amazing Paper Grace Christmas Village

It is the 1st July here in New Zealand and I have my first Christmas card to share with you today. I absolutely love the flexibility of the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes and how they can be made into a 3D vignette or can be added to a card front. For my card today I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month November 2018 3D Vignette – Christmas Village as a card front but still creating some dimension between the layers using foam tape. I love how the gorgeous decorative frame which I have done white on white really highlights the colourful scene inside the frame. To finish the Christmas theme I have put this frame on an embossed Christmas background using the Amazing Paper Grace Embossing folder Holly Flourish.

My Project

For my project I have made a top folding 5″ x 6″ card base out of white cardstock. I cut a piece of gold card 5″ x 6″ and added it to the front of the card. I cut a piece of white pearl cardstock 4 7/8″ x 5 7/8″ and embossed it with the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Flourish embossing folder and added it to the front of the gold card.

I die cut one shadow frame using the frame die from the Christmas Village die set out of white pearl cardstock and adhered it to the front of the card. I die cut one frame using one of the inner hill dies and the outer frame out of white pearl cardstock and added it to the shadow frame using foam tape. I die cut the inner panel out of white pearl cardstock and ink blended it with blue and yellow inks and adhered it to the centre of the frame. I die cut the Santa die three times – two out of white cardstock and one from gold cardstock. I stacked these dies together with the gold die on top and then added it to the frame.

I die cut all the village elements out of white pearl cardstock and coloured the tree with brown ink, the trees and ivy leaves with green ink and the church and house with pink inks. I added coloured sa piece of scrap white pearl cardstock with yellow ink and then added a small piece of coloured card behind the church and house to look light light shining out the windows and a gold cross at the top of the church steeple. I added the tree to the background and the houses and trees and white fence in front of and behind the hill with foam squares for more stability for the elements.

I die cut a frame using the sentiment inner die and the outer die out of white pearl cardstock. I die cut the sentiment out of gold cardstock and trimmed it to fit the base sentiment die. This layer was added to the frames using foam tape. I added the leaves around the sentiment.

To complete the vignette I die cut two plain outer frames – one with white pearl cardstock and one from pearlescent vellum and a decorative frame out of white pearl cardstock. I adhered these three frames together with the plain frame, vellum frame and the decorative frame as the sandwich. This was then added to the front of the vignette with foam tape.

To finish the card I added a small white bow out of seam binding at the base of the frame and pearls to the leaves, on the decorative frame and on the holly berries on the embossed background and drops of Crystal Stickles on ink blended background for some snowy sparkle.

Amazing Paper Grace Pop Up 3D Vignette Valentine Mailbox

You are in for a treat today with this stunning 3D Valentine’s Day card made using the Amazing Paper Grace Pop Up 3D Vignette Valentine Mailbox. I love how easy it is to put this card together and it took longer to decide on the embellishments from the Peony Garden collection from Mintay. The front opens up like a mailbox but I decided to leave the front closed and created a diorama scene instead using some pretty papers. The pink and gold combination is so pretty and very romantic with a shabby chic feel. This mailbox would be a gorgeous decoration to sit on the table for a romantic candlelight dinner with roses and chocolates. If you did want to send this in the post the card will lay flat for posting.

My Project

I have die cut the mailbox out of pink cardstock and assembled the mailbox according to the instructions from Amazing Paper Grace. To create the diorama I have added some scenic paper die cut using the inner plain die to the second panel from the front and I added a small butterfly using foam tape for some more depth and interest to the diorama. For the front door I have kept it shut and added some acetate behind the decorative front for stability and to add the gold glitter decorative die to the front. 

To decorate the mailbox I die cut two ‘MAIL’ sentiments – one from pink cardstock and one from gold glitter cardstock and adhered the gold sentiment behind the pink sentiment and slightly offset it for a peak of gold glitter. This was then added to the top of the mailbox.

The mailbox was embellished with die cuts from the Peony Garden collection from Mintay and I have added a small envelope made from a die in this Valentine’s Day die set and added some hearts made from pink and gold cardstock in the envelope and on the top behind the sentiment. 

To finish I have added some pink jewels to the gold decorative die on the front.

‘Say Cheese’ Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette – Twin Lens

I have another card to share with you featuring the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette – Twin Lens Etched Dies by Becca Feeken. This die is part of the 3D Vignette Collection that was released late last year and so retro! I love these dies as they can be used in so many different ways. You can make a 3D Vignette that is interactive and will fit in a standart 5″ x 7 envelope, or you can put them on a card front. I have used blues, black and silver in this 3D Vignette and the inside pull out cards are white and can be used to put photos or special notes and sentiments to personalise this very special gift. And a big bonus with this set is that it has a beautiful flower and leaf die so I did not need any other dies to complete this card.

My Project:

I have created a 3D vignette following the instructions with this die set using a black base to add pale blue and blue accents to bring the camera alive. I have used silver to highlight the lens, cord holder and the knobs. The flowers have been made using a 160 Ib flower shaping paper and the leaves are from green cardstock. I have die cut the words into the pull out cards and left them blank at this stage to personalise later.

Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month

The Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock is so elegant and reminded me of the beautiful and ornate French Ormulu clocks that often had beautiful hand painted floral images and sometimes flowers. For my projects today I have used pearlised cardstock and a pretty floral image in the centre of the clock combined with handcrafted flowers to replicate the look of a porcelain china antique clock.

Today’s creations were created with the dies supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 21 cutting dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock.

My Projects Today:

Today I have a card and a 3D vignette using the Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock. I have paired the clock with Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies Picot Petite Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Rectangles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken for an elegant card. Both projects have handcrafted flower embellishments.

I have used a transfer sheet with a pretty floral spray for the centre of the clocks and have coloured the flowers and leaves to coordinated with the floral image. To complete the porcelain china look I have painted the flowers with clear gloss gel and sprinkled some ultrafine crystal glitter over for a pretty shiny and sparkly finish.

The flowers have been created using the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers III and the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud.

I have die cut two layers of the clock hands to help create some dimension and allow the clock hands to stand out.

I have added a gold gem to the middle of the clock.

Amazing Paper Grace | The 3D Vignette Collection

Today I have a very sweet 3D Vignette Pet House and a card featuring the same die on a card using the 3D Vignette Collection – Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Pet House Etched Dies from 3D Vignette Collection by Becca Feeken. My pet houses are so pretty with flowers growing on either side of the house and a butterfly hovering over the animals with sparkly collars.

Dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace were used in today’s creations.

There are 22 dies in the 3D Vignette Pet House set.


My Projects for Today

For my 3D Vignette I have used different pink colours touched with gold for a delicate look. The flowers are from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken and the leaves are from the Amazing Paper Grace Spring Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken. The butterfly is from the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken set.

For my card I have added some texture with an embossing folder to the background and added some decorative corners from the Amazing Paper Grace A2 Filigree Marquis Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken. This time I have used the dog and cat dies together for a very special card for an animal loving person. Once again I have used flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken and the leaves are from the Amazing Paper Grace Spring Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken. The butterfly is from the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutters 5 x 7″ Card Base Etched Dies from the Garden Shutters Collection by Becca Feeken set.

I have added a sparkle to the collar with a pink iridescent gem.

I have used small flowers in keeping with the size of the vignette and the soft pastel colours work well with the pink and gold background.

The butterfly has been cut out of vellum and coloured with Fossilised Amber ink.

The dog and cat are very good friends and wear matcing collars with some blue sparkle.

The pink flowers are a lovely contrast to the blue pet house.

Amazing Paper Grace January 2022 Die of the Month Blog Hop – Pop Up 3D Vignette Coffee, Tea or Me

These gorgeous dies reminded me of a having high tea at the most amazing cafe which sadly has closed now. The waiting staff were dressed up in fifties style clothing and there were beautiful lace tablecloths and old china with beautiful floral patterns on them. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time there.

Dies for my creations today were supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 21 dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Coffee, Tea or Me.


For my card I have made a lace background with the Amazing Paper Grace Eyelet Lace Frame Etched die and then made a shaker element using the cup and lace dies from the Die of the Month set. I have then added some hearts and flowers to create a vase of flowers. To finish I added a small tea bag for the tea lover.

For my second project I have made a 3D vignette with the cup dies. I have used a pretty pattern paper for the cup to emulate the beautiful floral antique china cups. I have added some flowers and hearts to coordinate with the card. This would make a stunning Valentine’s Day gift for a special tea lover.

My Project Today using Pop Up 3D Vignette Christmas Tree.

I have made a 3D Vignette Christmas Tree card using a grey and silver colour combination and some hologram card for extra sparkle. For my other card I have created a base card using the Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies Picot Petite Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Twist Rectangles Etched Dies from the Elegant Twist Collection by Becca Feeken and some pretty silver foil paper to add my Christmas tree on to. I trimmed the bows from the present to add to the baubles on the trees. The small decoration at the top of the card are from the Amazing Paper Grace Wedded Bliss Scene Etched Dies from Make a Scene Collection by Becca Feeken. To finish I have used some iridescent gems on the Christmas tree.

Designer Tip: 

Trim the bows on the Christmas presents and add to the Christmas tree for more decorations.

A Country Cottage Card

Welcome back and today I have a lovely all occasion card that is positively smothered in lilacs.  I think this collection must be my all time favourite and I can’t get enough of the soft hues and the gorgeous papers.  The flowers are so easy to make.  Here I have used a Becca Feeken die – the Grand Cabinet  die and the cottage fitted inside this die so perfectly.  I have die cut three of the dies to add dimension.  I love adding the little birds from the Woodsy Wonderland collection as well.  They add life to the card.

I hope that I have inspired you to do something different with the lilacs.
