It is never too early to start thinking about Christmas cards and today I am sharing the Christmas card I made last year for Heartfelt Creations. This card came together very quickly as I used coloured cardstock for the embellishments.

Today’s project was created with products provided by Heartfelt Creations.

Instructions:
Die cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 10 1/2” x 7 1/2″, score at 5 1/4″ along the long side and fold. Die cut the shaped base card by using the No. 1 die from the HCD2-7402 Filigree Companion die slightly over the edge of the fold.
Die cut the outer frame from the pattern paper using the No. 1 and No. 3 dies from the HCD2-7402 Filigree Companion die. Adhere the printed image frame to the white frame and then adhere to the front of the card with foam tape. Die cut the house image from the pattern paper using the No. 3 die from the HCD2-7402 Filigree Companion die and adhere to the centre of the frame.

Stamp the large spray and small leaf images from the HCPC-3959 Holly Berry Spray Cling Stamp, the small spray image from the HCPC-3958 Small Festive Poinsettia Cling Stamp on green cardstock with embossing ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Die cut with the coordinating dies and shape using the coordinating molds. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the leaves with clear gloss gel medium and adhere a large spray to the top left of the card and another to the bottom right of the card. Add the small sprays and leaves around the larger sprays to create a base for the flowers.
Stamp the poinsettia images from the HCPC-3958 Small Festive Poinsettia Cling Stamp and the HCPC-3957 Large Poinsettia Cling Stamp on red cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Die cut with the coordinating dies and shape using the coordinating molds. Assemble the flowers and pierce the centres. Insert the gold pearl stamens and set with Dries Clear glue. Add Crystal Clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium, trim the threads and adhere to front of the card over the leaves – one large and one small to the top left of the card, and one medium flower to the bottom right of the card.
