Kia Oa Koutou

We are in the middle of winter here in New Zealand and these bright and colourful clematis from Heartfelt Creeations adds a touch of summer to cold and dreary days. I just love the little birdies in this collection.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”. Cut a piece of gold cardstock 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of purple pattern paper 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” and adhere to the front of the gold card front. Cut a piece of gold cardstock 4 5/8” x 6 5/8” and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of green pattern paper 4 1/2”x 6 1/2″ and adhere to the front.

Die cut the frame using the No. 1 die and No. 2 from the HCD1-7339 Regal Lattice Gateway Die set out of gold cardstock and adhere to the front of the card with foam strips.

Stamp the trellis image from the HCPC-3956 Clematis Birdhouse & Trellis Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut out with the coordinating die. Adhere to the centre of the gold frame.

Stamp the birdhouse image and the birds from the HCPC-3956 Clematis Birdhouse & Trellis Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Adhere the birdhouse to the left side of the gold frame with 3D foam circles.

Stamp the large clematis floral spray from the HCPC-3955 Clematis Spray Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die. Adhere to the top of the frame with 3D foam circles.

Stamp the leaves from the Die HCPC-3954 Clematis Cling Stamp Set in Library Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Vivid Chartreuse and Leaf Green inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Colour the back of the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse and shape using the coordinating mold. Add Crystal Clear glitter with clear gloss gel medium and add to the bottom right of the gold frame.

Stamp the flower images from the Die HCPC-3954 Clematis Cling Stamp Set in Violet and Lilac Posies inks on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the purple flowers with Violet ink and the pink flowers with the Lilac Posies ink using the Stack and store daubers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Shape using the coordinating mold and add Crystal Clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium. Die cut two stamens using the small and medium stamen dies from the HCD1-748 Arianna Blooms Die set out of yellow cardstock. Cut down the centres of the stamen spikes with sharp scissors and then adhere two stamens of the same size together and adhere to the centres of the flowers. Use the medium size for the large flowers and the small size for the small flower. Pierce the centres of the flowers and insert a bead wire stamen – yellow for the pink flowers and light purple for the purple flowers. Trim the wires and adhere to the bottom right over the leaves as shown. Adhere the birds.

Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3844 For My Friend Sentiments Cling Stamp in Jet Black ink on light purple pattern paper. Die cut with the tag die from the HCD1-7202 Album Tags & Accents Die set and adhere to the right on the gold frame. Add a twine bow as shown.
