Welcome back and today I am really excited to share my project for the debut of the fabulous Spring Garden Collection from Heartfelt Creations. Whilst we are going in Autumn here the northern hemisphere is just coming out of a long hard winter and the bright daffodils are so cheerful that I can’t wait for our spring to arrive.

Instructions:
Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper cardstock 3” x 11 1/2”, score at 3”, 7 3/4″ and 10 3/4″.

Mark at 1” and 2” on the 3” sides to mark for the strips to be added.


Cut a piece of card 3 1/2″ x 3”, score at 1/2″ on one side and then adhere both pieces together to create the box.




Cut 4 strips 1” x 3/4″, score at 1/2” on either side and adhere to the inside of the box which has been marked to create the panels to add the flowers.




Cut two pieces of patterned paper 3” x 3” and adhere to the sides of the box. Cut a piece of patterned paper 3” x 4 3/4″ and adhere to the front of the box.
Die cut the outer frame from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using the No. 1 die from the HCD2-7338 Lattice Flourish Gateway Die and then die cut another frame from patterned paper and adhere to the background frame. Die cut the decorative frame out of gold card using all the dies except for the sentiment and adhere to the front of the frame. Adhere to the inside back of the box approximately 1 1/2″ from the bottom of the box.
Stamp the large hyacinth images from the HCPC-3948 Fragrant Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set
with Magenta Hue, Violet, Vivid Chartreuse and Library Green inks on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the pink flowers with Pink Peony ink, the green flowers with Pearlescent Yellow and the purple flowers with Shaded Lilac ink and the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse and Library Green inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Stamp the small flower images from the HCPC-3948 Fragrant Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Hue ink, Violet and Vivid Chartreuse inks. Colour the pink images with Pink Peony ink, the green images with Pearlescent Yellow inks and Vivid Chartreuse ink and the purple flowers with Shaded Lilac and Violet inks. Colour the centres of the pink flowers with Magenta Hue ink, the purple flowers with Violet ink and the green flowers with Vivid Chartreuse ink and then die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the backs of the pink flowers with Pink Peony ink, the green flowers with Pearlescent Yellow and the purple flowers with Shaded Lilac ink. Shape using the coordinating mold and adhere to the larger flower. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the flowers using gloss gel medium and add Hot Mamma Prills to the centres of the pink flowers and Lettuce Entertain You Prills to the purple and green flowers. Add a large green hyacinth flower to the back of the box on the right side. Add a large purple hyacinth to the second panel from the back and a small purple flower to the left of the box on the third panel. Add a large pink hyacinth to the middle of the box in the fourth panel and a small green hyacinth to the right of the box on the front panel as shown.
Stamp the daffodil images from the HCPC-3947 Spring Daffodil Cling Stamp Set in Vivid Chartreuse ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the inners with Vivid Chartreuse ink and the outers with Pearlescent Yellow ink and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the backs of the trumpets with Pearlescent Yellow ink and the leaves with Vivid Chartreuse ink and finish colouring with Tiger Lily ink on the edges of the trumpets. Shape using the coordinating mold and assemble the trumpet and adhere to a double layer of leaves. Pierce the centres of the flowers and insert one green stamen and several white fluffy stamens and secure with Dries Clear glue. Finish the flowers by adding floral tape to the stamen stems. Add Crystal Clear glitter with gloss gel medium. For the buds crease the trumpets and add the leaf around the folded trumpet. Add the stamens and glitter as with the open flowers. Add two open flowers and two buds to the back of the card with hot glue. Add another open flower and bud to the right of the box as shown with a hot glue gun.
Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3930 Floral Shoppe Fillers Cling Stamp Set in Vivid Chartreuse ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the stems with Vivid Chartreuse ink and add Snow White Flower Pearls to the outer leaves and add to the panels to cover gaps in the box.
Front of box.
Die cut the gate image out of gold cardstock using the gate die only from the HCD2-7338 Lattice Flourish Gateway Die set and adhere to the front of the box card as shown. Die cut the outer eyelet tag die from the HCD1-7202 Album Tags & Accents Die and then die cut the coordinating inner image from the pattern paper using the inner die. Adhere the paper to the gold tag. Die cut two sentiments from the HCD2-7338 Lattice Flourish Gateway Die – one from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and one from gold card. Adhere the gold sentiment to the white sentiment and then adhere to the middle of the tag as shown. Adhere the tag to the front of the box card as shown.
Add a small pink hyacinth to the left of the tag and some extra flowers to the base of the flower.
Stamp the butterfly images from the HCPC-3947 Spring Daffodil Cling Stamp Set and the HCPC-3943 Delightful Daffodil & Butterfly Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock. Colour with Zig Clean Colour Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating dies. Add Crystal Clear glitter with gloss gel medium and then adhere the small butterflies on the label and the large butterfly to the top right at the back of the card as shown.
