Cherished Courtyard Asters

Welcome back to my final post for Heartfelt Creations this week.  This time I have used the new Courtyard Elegance die that has just been released with some gorgeous vellum asters.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of white cardstock 6” x 12”, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 6” x 6”. Cut the 6” x 6” checked panel from the paper collection and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the light green paper using the inner square die from the HCD1-7283 Courtyard Elegance Die set. Die cut the decorative die from the HCD1-7283 Courtyard Elegance Die set out of white cardstock, add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and then adhere to the front of the green paper. Cut a piece of heavy cardstock 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and adhere behind the green paper and then adhere to the front of the card. Die cut an eyelet circle out of white cardstock from the HCD1-7154 Eyelet Circles & Basics- Small set and adhere to the front of the card using heavy cardboard. Die cut the eyelet circle die from the HCD1-7154 Eyelet Circles & Basics- Small set out of white cardstock and then using the inner decorative circle die from the HCD1-7283 Courtyard Elegance Die set die cut the centre out. Add Frosting Powder using spray adhesive and then adhere to the previously cut eyelet circle. Die cut the small square out of white cardstock and then die cut the square and the small decorative inner out of white cardstock. Spray the small decorative square and add Frosting Powder and adhere to the plain square. Adhere to the middle of the circle as shown.

Stamp the large aster spray from the HCPC-3888 Wild Aster Spray Stamp set in White Daisy ink on vellum and heat emboss with Bridal Tinsel embossing powder. Colour on the back with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover inks for the leaves and Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple inks for the flowers and die cut with the coordinating die. Spritz on the back lightly and shape using the large groove golf tool. Adhere to the bottom right of the circle.

Stamp the leaves from the HCPC-3887 Wild Aster Stamp set in White Daisy ink on vellum and heat emboss with Bridal Tinsel embossing powder. Colour on the back with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Spritz lightly on the back and shape using the large groove golf tool. Adhere around the aster spray.

Stamp the flowers from the HCPC-3887 Wild Aster Stamp set in White Daisy ink on vellum and heat emboss with Bridal Tinsel embossing powder. Colour on the back with Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple inks and also some with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover inks for the buds and die cut with the coordinating dies. Spritz lightly on the back and shape using the large groove golf tool. Adhere a couple of flowers to the aster spray and assemble the remainding flowers. Make the buds with a small green and pink petal. Adhere to the card as shown. Add Heart of Gold Prills to the centre of the flowers.

Stamp the small aster spray from the HCPC-3888 Wild Aster Spray Stamp set in White Daisy ink on vellum and heat emboss with Bridal Tinsel embossing powder. Die cut with the coordinating die and add Snow White flower pearls to the image. Trim and adhere around the flowers as shown.

Die cut the tag from the Calla Lily paper collection using the coordinating die from the HCD1-7201 Ticket & Tags Die set and nestle under the large flower as shown.

To finish, add pearls to the decorative dies.
