Rose Accent Card

Welcome back to my second post for Inspiration Wednesday and I am sharing a card using the new accent dies from Heartfelt Creations.

Instructions: 

Cut a piece of Centura Pearl cardstock 12” x 6 “, score at 6” along the long side and fold to create the base card. Cut a piece Antique Gold card 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” and adhere to the inside back of the card. Trim a 6” x 6” panel from the patterned paper to 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4” and adhere over the Antique Gold card.

Using the outer plain edge die from the HCD1-7263 Swirly Accents Die set die cut the shaped edge of the right front of the card. Cut a piece of Antique Gold card 5 14/16” x  6 2/16” and using the inner plain edge die from the HCD1-7263 Swirly Accents Die set die cut the right edge and adhere to the front of the card. Cut a piece of patterned paper from the Floral Fashionista paper 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ and using the inner edge die from the HCD1-7263 Swirly Accents Die set and adhere to the front over the gold card.  Die cut the outer frame using the inner and outer edge dies from the CD1-7263 Swirly Accents Die set out of Centura Pearl cardstock and adhere to the right front as shown. Die cut the inner decorative die from the CD1-7263 Swirly Accents Die set out of Antique Gold cardstock and adhere to the frame.

Die cut the outer eyelet edge oval from the HCD1-7156 Eyelet Ovals & Basics – Small Die set out of Antique Gold cardstock and adhere to the front of the card. Die cut the outer frame using the outer eyelet edge oval die and the largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7156 Eyelet Ovals & Basics – Small Die set and adhere to the previously cut frame. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just For You Sentiment Stamp set in Jet Black ink on the patterned paper and die cut using the largest plain edge die from the HCD1-7156 Eyelet Ovals & Basics – Small Die set and adhere to the middle of the oval frame.

Stamp the long leaf image from the HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Stamp set in Library Green ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper.  Colour the leaves with Magenta Hue and Leaf Green inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Add Crystal Clear glitter to the leaves with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Adhere to the top left of the oval.

Stamp the rose images from the HCPC- 3752 Classic Rose Stamp set in Magenta Hue ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour the centres with Buttercup ink and the outside with Magenta Hue ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges with Magenta Hue ink and sponge Pure Platinum Nuvo Embellishment Mousse on the flowers and shape using the coordinating mold. Assemble when dry and add Crystal Clear glitter with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge. Add to the leaves as shown.

Stamp the lilac spray images from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Stamp in Jet Black ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper. Colour with Magenta Hue and Leaf Green inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape, trim and adhere around the roses.

Stamp the lilac images from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Stamp set in Versamark ink on vellum and emboss with white embossing powder. Colour the back of the flowers with Picked Raspberry ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using coordinating mold after spritzing lightly with water.  Pierce the centres of the flowers and insert small gold stamens and affix with Dries Clear glue. Add Diamond Sprinkles with Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge, trim the stamens and add around the roses as shown.

To finish, die cut two decorative corners from the HCD1-7263 Swirly Accents Die set out of Antique Gold cardstock and adhere to the bottom left corner of the front and the bottom right corner of the inside of the card.
