Best Wishes With Bursts of Spring

Kia Ora Koutou

I am so excited with the release of the new Bursts of Spring with gorgeous papers and pansies.

Celebrate the highly anticipated arrival of the upcoming spring season with the new Burst of Spring Collection from Heartfelt Creations! A favorite among flower enthusiasts, the delicate pansy flower is often one of the first florets to be added to the freshly worked soil as the glorious garden season arrives. The soft, velvety petals of these cheerful blossoms always invite a quick caress while being transplanted near the front of the garden bed, where they are sure to be admired by all! Awaken your senses dulled from the winter season with an enchanting and deeply hued decorative paper collection filled with sweet and amiable pansy flowers, along with whimsical fluttering butterflies! Beautiful blues, happy yellows and deep purples set the tone for charming pansy clusters and bouquets encompassed in finely illustrated details from lace like accents to intricate brocades! A wonderful compilation of beautifully detailed cling stamp sets and coordinating dies bring an assortment of sprightly pansy floral sprays, perky arrangements, as well as elegant pansy frames, perfect for adding a cheerful springtime feel to all of your handmade greeting cards, layouts and altered art pieces. The coordinating pansy flower stamp, die, and flower shaping mold come together to create several differing sized pansy flowers ideal for creating your very own dimensional pansy bouquets as realistic as those found in the flower bed! So, join together with us in craft rooms everywhere…before the frost is out of the ground and gardening season arrives…as we anticipate and create our very own version of the appearance of spring with the Burst of Spring Collection!

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”.  Cut a piece of patterned paper 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut two frames and one inner decorative die from the HCD2-7191 Intricate Swirls Die set in white cardstock.  Adhere the two outer frames together, add Frosting Powder to the frames and adhere to the card front with foam tape.  Adhere the inner decorative frame to the centre of the frame.  Stamp the ‘best wishes’ sentiment from the HCPC-3847 Celebrate Love Sentiments Stamp set in Archival Jet Black ink on white cardstock and die cut using the outer frame from the label die.  Die cut the inner decorative frame and add Frosting Powder to the frame and adhere to the outer frame as shown.  Adhere to the centre of the card.

Stamp two each of the images from the HCPC-3864 Delicate Pansy Spray Stamp set in Stazon Jet Black ink on watercolour card.  Colour in with the Gansai Tombi watercolour paints and die cut with the coordinating die.  Die cut the centre flower from one of the sets and adhere to the other set to create some dimension.  Add Minnie Pearl Prills to the white flowers with Dries Clear glue.  Shape and add Crystal Clear to the sprays with Dries Clear glue on a fairly dry sponge and Lemon Chiffon Prills to the centres of the pansies.  To finish, adhere the flourishes to the top left and bottom right of the card.
