Kia Ora and Welcome Back

Today I am featuring another 2 cards made using the gorgeous Butterfly Dreams and the new decorative dies.  I had so much fun with this collection and these dies.

Materials Used:

Stampin Up Wild Wasabi cardstock, foam tape

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 5”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to make a 5” x 7” base card.  Using the largest die from the HCD2-7189 Eyelet Rectangles & Basics Die set die cut the green cardstock and adhere to the front of the card.  Die cut the patterned paper using the next size down die from the HCD2-7189 Eyelet Rectangles & Basics Die set and mat onto the green cardstock.

Die cut the frame from the HCD1-7179 Butterfly Kisses Die set out of white cardstock and trim the corners.  Sponge the edges with Vibrant Fuchsia and Garden Patina inks.  Add Crystal Clear using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.  Adhere to each corner.

Cut a piece of green cardstock 6 ¼” x 4 ¼” and adhere to the front of the card using foam tape. Cut the 6” x 4” panel from the patterned paper, sponge the edges with Vibrant Fuchsia and adhere to the front of the green card.

Die cut the centre from the HCD2-7191 Intricate Swirls & Frames Die set out of white cardstock and colour with Vibrant Fuchsia on the outside and Garden Patina on the inside.  Add Crystal Clear with Dries Clear Glue on a damp sponge.  Adhere to the front of the card as shown.  Cut the sentiment out of the patterned paper, sponge the edge with Vibrant Fuchsia, shape and adhere to the front as shown.

Stamp the butterfly from the HCPC-3825 Butterfly Kisses Stamp set in Vibrant Fuchsia on white cardstock.  Colour with the Buttercup and Vibrant Fuchsia inks and die cut with the coordinating die.  Add Crystal Clear to the butterfly using Dries Clear glue on a sponge and adhere to the left of the sentiment as shown.

To finish, add Ultrafine Crystal glitter to the flowers around the edge of the paper with Dries Clear glue.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock 10” x 5”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to make a 5” x 7” base card.  Cut a piece of patterned paper 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut the outer decorative die from the HCD2-7191 Intricate Swirls & Frames Die set out of white cardstock and adhere to the front of the card with foam tape.  Cut the 6” x 4” panel from the patterned paper and adhere to the frame.

Cut three inner decorative dies from the HCD2-7192 Eyelet Lace Frames Die and adhere together and add to the top of the card as shown.  Die cut the Thank You sentiment from the HCD1-7179 Butterfly Kisses Die from white cardstock and adhere to the centre of the frame.

Stamp the large lilac image from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Stamp in Jet Black ink on white cardstock.  Colour the leaves with Fern Green ink and the flower with the Vibrant Fuchsia ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Shape and adhere to the front of the card as shown.

Stamp the lilacs from the HCPC-3816 Lush Lilac Stamp with Vibrant Fuchsia on white cardstock and colour the centres with the Vibrant Fuchsia ink and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape using the Lilac Shaping Mold and allow to dry.  Add to the front of the lilac flower as shown.  Add Crystal Clear to the flowers with Dries Clear Glue on a damp sponge. Add Lavender & Lace Prills to the centre of the flowers.

Stamp the butterfly image from the HCPC-3824 Fluttering Butterfly Stamp in Manganese Blue ink on white cardstock.  Colour the image in with Garden Patina and Paradise Teal, Jet Black inks and die cut with the coordinating die.  Add Crystal Clear to the butterfly using Dries Clear glue on a damp sponge.  Add drops of … Nuvo drops to the butterfly. Add Black Nuvo Drops to the antenna of the butterfly.  Add the butterfly to the front of the card as shown.
