Welcome back.
This week I have been having a play with using the Stick It adhesive sheets from Ken Oliver. These sheets make it so easy to adhere fine and delicate dies to your projects but they have other uses including adding glitter to the card. Here is a card that I have made using the Stick It sheets to add glitter to the background of the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval.
To add the glitter to the background I adhered a sheet of the Stick It sheet to the mauve cardstock and then using the plain oval die cut from the Heartfelt Creations Eyelet Oval dies I cut out the oval. I removed the backing to the paper and added the Decorative Oval die cut to the sticky oval. I then sprinkled the glitter over the whole piece.
The result is a lovely glittery background to the piece. This photo does show a little of the lovely sparkle.
After adding the oval to the background mats that I have die cut using the Sue Wilson Lattice Frame die set, I then added beautiful vellum flowers from the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms set.
I have used the same principle as last weeks post and sponged the back with Memento Lulu Lavender and New Sprout inks to make the flowers coordinate with the mauve pearlescent cardstock.
Here is the finished card again.
Materials used:
Dies – Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms, Decorative Oval, Eyelet Oval, Sue Wilson Lattice Frame
Cardstock – Sullivans Pearlescent Cardstock, CTMH White Daisy
Vellum from my stash
Inks – Versamark, Memento Lulu Lavender, New Sprout
Ranger embossing powder – white

Pearls from the local $2 shop.
This card and most of the products used for making this card are for sale at Gift Hutt.
I hope this inspires you to use the Stick It sheets for more than die cutting.
Have a great week and Happy Crafting
