One of my photos of the day. I managed to get outside to play with my camera in between showers and I was really pleased with the softness and yet clarity of the leaves in this image.

Two days ago I went to Petone Beach to take photographs of the Queen Mary II in Wellington Harbour. I took the opportunity of trying out taking photos of different subjects to have a change from flower photos. Here are a few shots that I took.

Another favourite photo of mine. You can just see the bee peeping out of the snapdragon flower. I have had a good day with the camera today. Some days are better than other and it is worth waiting for them.
