🌸 Elegant Easter Table Décor with Spring Florals & Fancy Fold Design

Kia ora Koutou

There’s something so special about creating handmade pieces for the Easter table, and today’s project is all about celebrating the beauty of spring with soft florals, delicate details, and a touch of Easter charm.

For this design, I combined a fancy fold structure with a sweet Copic coloured basket of eggs, surrounded by tulips, cherry blossoms, and daisies to create a piece that feels fresh, elegant, and full of seasonal joy.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

🌷 Design Inspiration

I was inspired by the soft colours and textures of spring gardens—think blooming tulips, airy cherry blossoms, and cheerful daisies. I wanted this piece to feel light and graceful, while still having that special “wow” factor when displayed on an Easter table.

The fancy fold design adds dimension and interest, making it perfect as both décor and a thoughtful handmade gift.

💡 Design Tips

  • Stick to a soft pastel colour palette for a cohesive spring feel
  • Use dimension sparingly to keep the design elegant, not bulky
  • Mix different florals for visual interest while keeping colours harmonious
  • Add embellishments in small amounts for a polished finish

✂️ Step-by-Step

1. Create the Base
Start by constructing your fancy fold card base using heavyweight cardstock. Choose a fold that allows for dimension while still folding flat if needed. A soft white or cream base keeps the overall look elegant. Add an elegant oval die cut frame to the front to adhere the embellishments to.

2. Add Background Layers
Layer your panels using coordinating pastel tones and embossed cardstock for subtle texture. Soft dry embossing works beautifully to enhance the delicate spring theme without overpowering the design.

3. Create the Basket of Eggs
Stamp and colour your basket and eggs using Copic markers. Use soft pastel shades for the eggs to tie in with the spring palette, and add gentle shading to the basket for depth and dimension.

4. Create the Flowers and Foliage
Die cut your florals, colour them in cheerful spring colours and then assemble them. Mix and match the greens of the foliage to add more interest and depth.

5. Assemble the Design
Adhere the basket as your focal point and arrange the tulips, cherry blossoms, and daisies around the focal area and as a backdrop to the focal point. Use foam tape for more depth and dimension. Keep the composition balanced and airy, allowing each flower to stand out while working harmoniously together.Use foam adhesive to lift certain pieces and create dimension.

6. Finishing Touches
Complete your project with a die cut Easter greeting in coordinating colours and adhere to the top of the decor piece. Add clear Wink of Stella to the eggs and bow on the basket for some subtle sparkle. These little details elevate the overall elegance and tie everything together beautifully.

✨ Finishing Touches

The final piece is soft, dimensional, and full of delicate detail. I love how the Copic coloured basket becomes the focal point, while the surrounding florals gently frame the design.

The addition of subtle sparkle gives it that signature elegant finish—perfect for a refined Easter table setting.

🌼 Final Thoughts

This project is such a lovely way to bring handmade beauty to your Easter celebrations. Whether displayed on your table or gifted to someone special, it captures the freshness and joy of the season perfectly.

I hope this inspires you to create your own spring-inspired Easter décor with florals, soft colours, and a little creative flair!

Share the Joy

And don’t forget to pin this project for later inspiration — you’ll definitely want to revisit it when you are in the mood for making your own Easter displays.

With Love Amazing Paper Grace

Kia ora Koutou

Today’s card features some layering with the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Sampler and Candlewick Classics collection by Becca Feeken. These collections are among my all time favourite collections because they work so well together and create beautiful designs and textures that are timeless and classic. I have added some soft pink handmade flowers and very pale lemon flowers on green leaves to continue the romantic feel to this card. Who wouldn’t want to receive this card!

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

The base card is a side folding 5″ x 7″ card made from Alabaster cardstock. To create the base for the layered dies I have matted gold and Alabaster card to the front of the card and for extra interest I have scored a border using my scoreboard on the top Alabaster layer. I then matted gold cardstock with some ivory embossed paper from my stash and added it to the card front.

I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Rectangle and Square Candlewick Classics dies to create frames out of the Alabaster cardstock. I have added a medium rectangle frame on the card front and added the plain centre. I then added a square frame to the front of the rectangle frame. but turning it around 90 degrees with foam tape. I die cut two of the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Canopy Etched Dies – one from gold cardstock and one from Alabaster card. I stacked these together with the gold frame on top and then wrapped the Canopy frame around a small rectangle frame to the top of the previous frames with foam tape. To finish the layering I have added the plain insert for placing the sentiment on the card.

I die cut four ‘With Love’ sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace With Love Regalia Card Builder Etched Dies – three from Alabaster cardstock and one from gold cardstock. These were stacked together with the gold sentiment on top and then added to the middle of the layered frames.

I have die cut the leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers III Etched Dies and Cinch and Go Five Etched Dies out of two shades of green cardstock. I added some Mowed Lawn inks to the leaves and then added them around the top left of the frame.

The flowers have been made using the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Five Etched Dies and Grand Cinch And Go Flowers Etched Dies using some soft flower shaping paper. For a harmonious colour palatte I have coloured the big flowers with pinks and light green/yellow inks and then used the same light green/yellow ink on the smaller flowers. I have added flowers over the leaves and added Crystal Stickles to the larger flowers and Frosted Lace for the smaller flowers and pearls to the centre of the small flowers.

To finish the card I have added pearls to the Candlewick Canopy die, the square and rectangle dies and some pearl trim from my stash around the top matted layer and a single pearl flower inside the frame by the sentiment.

Save the Date Wedding Invitation Using Amazing Paper Grace Dies

Kia ora Koutou

We are in the middle of the summer wedding season here in New Zealand and today I have a special card that is also a Save the Date invitation that can be kept as a special memento for the wedding album. Most wedding planning etc is done online and I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Classic Elegance Tall Pocket to create a pocket for an Save the Date invitation using the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month June 2020 Snip it grid and Calendar Creator with the dates on the back. I have used sweet blush and pink tones for the card front and the invitation. The flowers are from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month June 2020 Snip it grid and Calendar Creator and the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms. I absolutely love the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Sampler Collection dies and the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Edged Corners Etched Dies was perfect for the top of the invitation.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

My card base is 5″ x 7″ and I have matted gold and Barely Peach card on the card front. I then cut another piece of Barely Peach card slightly smaller and embossed it with the Amazing Paper Grace Orange Peel 3D Embossing Folder. I then ink blended the edges with Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar oxide inks. I die cut the pocket from the Classic Elegance Tall Pocket Etched Dies out of Barely Peach card. I also die cut a pocket out of acetate and trimmed it to fit behind the pocket before adding this to the card front. The acetate backing allowed me to add the flowers to the pocket.

To make the invitation I cut a piece of Barely Peach card 4″ x 5″ and using the bottom edge die from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Edged Corners Etched Dies die cut the edge from one short end. then cut another peice of gold cardstock 3″ x 4″ and matted it with a smaller blush card which had two lines scored around each end and has been ink blended with Kitsch Flamingo and Spun Sugar inks. This was then placed on the front of the invitation. I die cut the ‘Save the Date’ words from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month June 2020 Snip it grid and Calendar Creator Etched Dies out of gold cardstock and two layers of blush card. These were stacked together on added to the front of the envelope.

For the back of the envelope I repeated the same process with the matted layers and then added the grid and the Date and the numbers from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month June 2020 Snip it grid and Calendar Creator Etched Dies.

I die cut two flourishes from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Edged Corners Edged Corner Dies and added them to the base of the matted layers and also die cut two edges from the same die set out of gold cardstock and added them to the top front and back of the invitation.

I have die cut the flowers using the flower dies from the Die of the Month June 2020 Snip it grid and Calendar Creator Etched Dies out of Barely Peach Cardstock. I added some Kitsch Flamingo ink to the centre of the flowers, shaped the petals with my fingers and then assembled the flowers with two petals. I die cut the large and medium sized stamens using the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Etched Dies out of flower shaping paper. I coloured the stamens with Lemon Whip ink and then shaped them with a ball stylus. I adhered two of each sized together making sure they overlapped and then added the larger and smaller stamens to the centre of the flower. I then added a pink iridescent jewel to the centre of the flower. I added the flowers to the bottom left of the pocket and also to the decorative edge and the top of the pull out invitation.

I die cut the leaves out of green cardstock using the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month June 2020 Snip it grid and Calendar Creator Etched Die and the leaf dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Edged Corners Edged Corner Dies. I coloured the edges with Mowed Lawn ink, shaped them with my fingers and spritzed the with some Glimmer Mist before adding them around the flowers.

I die cut the small flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Etched Dies out of flower shaping paper. I coloured them with Lemon Whip ink and spritzed them with water before shaping them. Once they were dry I added them around the larger flowers and leaves and added a yellow iridescent gem to the centre of the flowers.

An Amazing Paper Grace Rose and Filigree Birthday Card

Kia Ora Koutou

One of my favourite colour combinations when making cards is pink and gold and today I have a gorgeous birthday card just full of pink and gold with a touch of ivory. In June of this year I made a totally different card (for me that is) using the Amazing Paper Grace Rose and Filigree Duo Slip in Card Etched Dies that was full of drama with a black and red colour combination and yet was very easy to make using the ‘slip in’ component of the dies. You can see the card here. For today’s card I have used the rose filigree decorative dies to create a beautiful background for some layered dies, some cherry blossoms and a lovely birthday sentiment finished with a coordinating pink and gold silk ribbon bow.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my project today I have created a top folding 5″ x 6 card out of white cardstock. I trimmed a piece of pink and cream striped paper from Mintay and added added a strip of pink and gold ribbon down the centre of the paper before adding it to the front of the card.

I die cut four decorative rose filigree dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Rose and Filigree Duo Slip in Card Etched Dies – two from pink cardstock and two from gold cardstock. The gold dies were adhered behind the pink dies slightly offset for a hint of gold. These dies were then added to the front of the card.

I die cut a piece of pink cardstock using the base die from the same die set and used my trimmer to cut a frame 1/4 wide out of the paper. I then added the frame to the front of the card with some foam strips.

For the oval frames in the centre of the card I used cream and gold cardstocks using the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Twist Oval Etched dies, pink cardstock for the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Picot Etched Dies and cream cardstock for the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Oval Etched Dies on top.

I made some cherry blossoms using the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Cherry Blossoms Etched Dies out of pink cardstock, the leaves from green cardstock and the branch from brown cardstock. I added some Cherry Blossom inks to the centre of the pinks flowers before assembling them. The flowers were draped over the top right of the oval frames.

The sentiment is from the Amazing Paper Grace Make a Scene Celebration Scene Etched Dies and I have die cut three layers – two from pink cardstock and one from gold cardstock. This was then added to the centre of the oval frames on an angle.

To finish the card I have added a pink and gold silk ribbon bow to the top of the card and added some gold pearls to the bow, the centres of the flowers and to highlight the sentiment.

Hello Rainbow Unicorn Baby Card

Kia ora Koutou

I have another baby card to share with you that I made for my daughter’s friend who loves unicorns and rainbows. I have used a mix of Amazing Paper Grace and Pink Fresh Studio dies to make this card and the unicorn, rainbow and bow images I purchased off Etsy to create this gender neutral card which the recipient loved.

To keep with the rainbow theme I ink blended the background with rainbow colour inks using a cloud stencil. I then partially embossed it with the Spellbinders 3D Tufted Embossing Folder. I also made the flowers with the same ink colours to create further harmony with the colours.

The Amazing Paper Grace Grand Cabinet Dies were the perfect frame for the sweet unicorn and the rainbow and reminds me of beautiful draping of a baby cradle.

Sparkle was added with lots of stickles on the flowers and images, iridescent gems on the frame and the holographic card for the large letter dies from Lawn Fawn.

Amazing Paper Grace With Love Fleur de Lis Grandeur

Kia ora Koutou

I have another Amazing Paper Grace beautiful, timeless, and elegant shaped card to share with you today using the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month May 2020 Fleur de Lis Grandeur Foldover Die set. This die set is a quintessentially Becca Feeken design with the decorative inlays, the ability to layer dies in many ways and even to be able to make beautiful boxes to create a stunning ensemble. You can also make a shaped card, a 6″ x 6″ card or an envelope, and also use the inner square dies to make a note card. What more can you want from a die set! There is even a flower die to help you complete your project. For my card I have made a shaped 6″ x 6″ card and used the inner square decorative frame dies to create a very pretty aperture for my sentiment. And I love this sentiment as it can be used in so many different settings such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc.

You can watch Becca creating a notecard with matching decorative envelope here.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

To make my card I made a top folding shaped card out of blue cardstock by diecutting the card using the large shadow die and leaving one side of the die slightly over the edge of the fold. I then die cut two decorative large square dies using the four decorative corners out of ivory pearl cardstock. These dies were stacked together and then added to the front of the card. I then die cut one small plain square die out of blue cardstock and four small decorative dies with the centres removed. I stacked two of the decorative dies together and then added it to the plain blue square and added it to the centre of the card front. I then stacked the remaining two small decorative square dies together and rotated them around 90 degrees and added it to the front of the card using foam strips.

I die cut three sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace With Love Regalia dies – two from ivor pearl card and one from gold glitter card. I stacked these together with the gold die on top and then added it to the centre of the frame.

I die cut some foliage from the Amazing Paper Grace My Sweet Friends Dies out of light green cardstock, trimmed and added it to the top right and bottom left of the frame.

I die cut the leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch & Go IV Dies out of green cardstock and shaped them using my fingers and added them over the light green foliage.

To make the flowers I used the flower die from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month May 2020 Fleur de Lis Grandeur Foldover Die set and die cut the petals out of flower shaping paper. I coloured the petals with yellow and pink inks, spritzed them and shaped them using a medium ball stylus. Once the petals were dry I then assembled them with two layers per flower. I then die cut the small stamens out of the same paper using the die from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Dies, coloured them with yellow ink and shaped them before adding them to the centre of the flowers. I added three flowers to the top right and bottom left over the leaves.

To complete the floral bouquets I added some leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motif Dies out of gold glitter paper and added them around the leaves and flowers.

I die cut the butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motif Dies out of cream and yellow pearl cardstock and the body out of gold glitter cardstock. I assembled the butterfly and added it to the card as shown.

To complete the card I added yellow gems to the centres of the flowers and pearls highlighting the background dies and some Star Dust Stickles to the flowers and butterfly.

Kia ora Koutou

Welcome back for another Amazing Paper Grace post. Today I have gone back to my favourite style – ivory and gold classic and elegant card featuring the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month July 2020 Fanfare Elegant Rectangles Etched Dies. I so love the lacy and delicate dies that are perfect to add pretty handcrafted flowers made with the flower dies that came in the same set. This would be the perfect wedding card that will make a wonderful keepsake for the wedding album.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card I have made a top folding 5″ x 7″ base card out of white cardstock. I then added some gold cardstock to the front and layered some ivory pearl card over it after scoring two lines on each side 1/8″ apart.

I die cut to outer decorative frames from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month July 2020 Fanfare Elegant Rectangles Etched Dies – one from ivory pearl card and one from gold card. I trimmed the gold frame in half and added it behind the ivory frame and then adhered it to the front of the card.

I die cut 8 medallions from the same die set out of ivory pearl card and trimmed 6 of them in half. These motifs are designed to be trimmed and can be slotted on to edges for a decorative finish. I added four flourishes to each corner of the card and then added a lacy decorative edge to each side of the inner cut out and I then added the 6 lacy edges around the inner cut out and adhered the pretty lace edged inner cut out to the centre of the frame with foam tape.

I die cut an oval frame out of ivory pearl card using the small oval dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Oval Etched Dies and added the frame to the centre of the inner panel with foam tape and the inner oval to the centre of the frame.

I die cut the leaves out of light green cardstock using the leaf dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers III Etched Dies and trimmed them to add to the top left and bottom right of the oval frames. I die cut small leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Spring Label Motif Etched Dies out of gold glitter cardstock and added them around the green leaves.

I die cut the flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month July 2020 Fanfare Elegant Rectangles Etched Dies out of soft flower shaping paper. These were coloured with pink, yellow and blue inks, shaped and assembled with wire pollens. The wires were trimmed and the flowers were added over the tleaves.

I die cut the butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Summer Label Motif Etched Dies using the ivory pearl card and yellow pearl card with the body made from gold glitter cardstock. The butterfly was assembled and added to the bottom of the fluted classic frame.

I die cut four sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month March 2020 Elegant Infinity Etched Dies – three from ivory pearl card and one from gold cardstock. These were stacked together with the gold die on top and then added to the centre of the oval fluted classic frame.

To complete the card I added pearls to the decorative frame and the corner motifs.

Kia ora Koutou

I love the versatility of the Amazing Paper Grace dies and how you can make an interactive card with one set of dies and yet make a quick and simple card with the same set. Today I have a very quick and easy card using just the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month February 2020 – Elegant Reveal Shutter Card Card Dies. This die makes the most amazing reveal shutter when you open the card up but here I have kept it simple and used some pretty papers and a lovely sentiments topped with some gorgeous flowers from the same die set. What more could you want from a single die set.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card I have made a top folding 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card out of white cardstock. I layered some gold card and pretty pearl paper for the front of the card. I then die cut the decorative small panel out of gold cardstock and the shadow panel out of cream pearl card from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month February 2020 – Elegant Reveal Shutter Card Card. I adhered the decorative panels to the cream shadows and then added them to the front of the card. I cut a piece of gold cardstock 5/8″ x 4 5/8″ and adhered it over the gap in the middle between the decorative panels.

I stamped the birthday sentiment to a piece of cream pearl cardstock with Wow Embossing ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. I then die cut the sentiment out using the medium label die that comes in the Elegant Reveal Shutter Card Dies. I die cut a frame out of gold cardstock using the medium and small label dies and adhered it to the sentiment frame. This label was then added to the front of the card with foam tape.

I made a full bow out of pink and gold silk ribbon and adhered it to the base of the label slightly to the right.

I die cut the flowers out of pink and yellow cardstock and added some extra yellow ink to the centre of the yellow flowers and pink ink to the centre of the pink flowers. Amazing Paper Grace Lacework Finery Slip-In Congrats Card

Kia Ora Koutou

I loved the Amazing Paper Grace dies by Becca Feeken since I first discovered them several years ago for their timeless, romantic and classic look which will never date. Today I have made a card using one of Becca’s earlier designs for the Die of the Month series – Lacework Finery Slip In Card. Here is a video on how Becca has made a card using the ‘slip-in’ feature of the dies. I have still used the ‘slip-in’ feature but in a different way. And I love that there are some flower dies in this set so I could create beautiful flowers for the card. This is such a pretty and feminine card that would be great for special birthdays, weddings or any celebration.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card I have made a 5″ x 7″ card base out of pink Centura Pearl cardstock. I used the outside die and the inner ‘slip’ decorative die and the two corner dies to die cut the card front. I then cut a piece of ivory cardstock 4 3/4″ x 6 3/4″ and a piece of pink pattern paper 4 5/8″ x 6 5/8″ and adhered it to the front of the ivory cardstock before slipping in inside the decorative frame. I then die cut another single decorative panel and added it to the the front of the card crossing over the other decorative panel. To hide the join I cut a strip of 1″ wide pink cardstock and adhered a strip of 5/7″ ivory cardstock and a strand of ribbon which was then added over the centre of the dies and the edges were folded over the sides of the card. I then added this front panel to the base card.

I die cut a shadow die from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Oval dies out of ivory cardstock and a decorative frame out of pink cardstock and adhered them together. This was then added over the centre of the dies with foam tape.

I die cut three ‘Congrats’ sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Infinity dies out of pink cardstock, stacked them together and added it to the centre of the oval as shown.

I die cut leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch & Go Flowers III out of light green cardstock and adhered them to the right of the oval and over the ribbon on the left side.

I die cut the flowers from the Lacework Finery Slip-In die set out of flower shaping cardstock. The petals were coloured with pink and yellow inks and then shaped before assembling with two petals of each size. I then added pearls to the centres of the flowers and added them over the leaves on the right side and the leaves and bow on the left side.

To finish the card I added pearls to the ovals in the centre of the card and to the decorative dies and edges of the card front as shown.

I recently purchased the gorgeous Honey Bee Stamps: Lovely Layers – Amaryllis Honey Cuts and my goodness this is a fabulous flower set to get. I had very few get well cards and this set was perfect for one. Here I have coloured the bowl, flowers and leaves with Copic markers and assembled them using foam squares for more dimension. Because the flowers are so dramatic I just added a white on white background by die cutting the Honey Bee Stamps Burlap Honey Cuts out of white cardstock and adding it to the front of the card. Add a sentiment and some iridescent rhinestone and the card was made very quickly.
