🌸 Elegant Easter Table Décor with Spring Florals & Fancy Fold Design

Kia ora Koutou

There’s something so special about creating handmade pieces for the Easter table, and today’s project is all about celebrating the beauty of spring with soft florals, delicate details, and a touch of Easter charm.

For this design, I combined a fancy fold structure with a sweet Copic coloured basket of eggs, surrounded by tulips, cherry blossoms, and daisies to create a piece that feels fresh, elegant, and full of seasonal joy.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

🌷 Design Inspiration

I was inspired by the soft colours and textures of spring gardens—think blooming tulips, airy cherry blossoms, and cheerful daisies. I wanted this piece to feel light and graceful, while still having that special “wow” factor when displayed on an Easter table.

The fancy fold design adds dimension and interest, making it perfect as both décor and a thoughtful handmade gift.

💡 Design Tips

  • Stick to a soft pastel colour palette for a cohesive spring feel
  • Use dimension sparingly to keep the design elegant, not bulky
  • Mix different florals for visual interest while keeping colours harmonious
  • Add embellishments in small amounts for a polished finish

✂️ Step-by-Step

1. Create the Base
Start by constructing your fancy fold card base using heavyweight cardstock. Choose a fold that allows for dimension while still folding flat if needed. A soft white or cream base keeps the overall look elegant. Add an elegant oval die cut frame to the front to adhere the embellishments to.

2. Add Background Layers
Layer your panels using coordinating pastel tones and embossed cardstock for subtle texture. Soft dry embossing works beautifully to enhance the delicate spring theme without overpowering the design.

3. Create the Basket of Eggs
Stamp and colour your basket and eggs using Copic markers. Use soft pastel shades for the eggs to tie in with the spring palette, and add gentle shading to the basket for depth and dimension.

4. Create the Flowers and Foliage
Die cut your florals, colour them in cheerful spring colours and then assemble them. Mix and match the greens of the foliage to add more interest and depth.

5. Assemble the Design
Adhere the basket as your focal point and arrange the tulips, cherry blossoms, and daisies around the focal area and as a backdrop to the focal point. Use foam tape for more depth and dimension. Keep the composition balanced and airy, allowing each flower to stand out while working harmoniously together.Use foam adhesive to lift certain pieces and create dimension.

6. Finishing Touches
Complete your project with a die cut Easter greeting in coordinating colours and adhere to the top of the decor piece. Add clear Wink of Stella to the eggs and bow on the basket for some subtle sparkle. These little details elevate the overall elegance and tie everything together beautifully.

✨ Finishing Touches

The final piece is soft, dimensional, and full of delicate detail. I love how the Copic coloured basket becomes the focal point, while the surrounding florals gently frame the design.

The addition of subtle sparkle gives it that signature elegant finish—perfect for a refined Easter table setting.

🌼 Final Thoughts

This project is such a lovely way to bring handmade beauty to your Easter celebrations. Whether displayed on your table or gifted to someone special, it captures the freshness and joy of the season perfectly.

I hope this inspires you to create your own spring-inspired Easter décor with florals, soft colours, and a little creative flair!

Amazing Paper Grace October 2022 Die of the Month

Christmas is fast approaching and for my projects today I have created an ensemble that is perfect as a gift for Christmas. The beautiful Amazing Paper Grace October 2022 Die of the Month – 3D Poinsettia Surprise Envelope is so versatile and can be used in a number of different ways. The dimensional envelope is perfect as home decor or as a dimensional card. For my card cI have added the envelope to a card base and added some dimension with foam tape to pop in a gift card, money or a gift tag. The gift tag is made using the label motifs from the Amazing Paper Grace Winter Label Motifs Etched Dies from Seasonal Label Motifs Collection by Becca Feeken and can be taken out to use as a tag on a gift. The different blues on the background go well with silver accents and traditional reds and greens with the poinsettias. I love how the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Flourish 2D Embossing Folder from the Christmas Flourish Collection by Becca Feeken coordinates so well with the flourishes in the Amazing Paper Grace October 2022 Die of the Month – 3D Poinsettia Surprise Envelope.

Today’s projects were created with the dies supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 22 cutting dies included in the 3D Poinsettia Surprise Envelope.

This envelope is perfect as home decor to add the Christmas touch to your home or fold and pop in an envelope as a Christmas card.

I have used Nuvo Red Berry drops on the decorative dies to connect with the red poinsettias and add a little dimension.

For my card I have created a dimensional envelope that easily fits a money, gift card or a tag.

The tag has an ink blended front as a base for the coordinating flowers and a sweet holiday sentiment.
