A Blue Happy Birthday

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I want to share a birthday card made with Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms. I have shaped these flowers using the Oakberry Lane 3D Flower Shaping mold and they came out really well except for the largest flower.  The new flower shaping card is just so easy to use in the mold as well.

A Heartfelt Love Wedding Card

Kia Ora and Welcome Back

Today I have a card that has taken some time to make as I was looking for the right embellishments on it.  This is a gatefold card that was inspired by Emma Lou Beechy from Heartfelt Creations when the Heartfelt Love collection was released last November.  I have embellished the card with Arianna Blooms and Wildwood Floral flowers and the leaves are from the Classic Leaf stamp and die set.  I have used iCraft flower making cardstock which is amazing to use for creating flowers and even making leaves.  I love the Ranger Archival inks and have used them to colour all the embellishments here.

I hope you have enjoyed this card.  Watch out for another beautiful Butterfly Dreams card on Wednesday.

Welcome back

I have just received the new Border Basics die set from Heartfelt Creations along with their new fold out cards and I think the dies are beautiful and will add a new dimension to my paper crafting.  There are so many things you can do with them and here are my first efforts.

First up is a fold out card featuring paper from the Cut Mat Create Collection which is no longer available unfortunately,  However, I had a lot of fun with the papers and also adding the glitter to the flowers.

Here is the inside of the card:

My next card:

With this card I ended up gluing the folds together to make a single fold card but it still came together well.  Here is the inside of the card.

For this next card I have used one of the inserts from the Flip Fold Albums – Insert B

This made a lovely pop up card and featured the border dies very nicely.

And finally here is a very simple but elegant card using the Classic Border Basics dies and a single rose from the Classic Rose set.

A Touch of Glamour with Arianna Blooms

Welcome back.

I was supposed to be making some masculine cards yesterday but I had to get an idea out of my head and sometimes you just have to let your creativity have a free rein.  I belong to a couple of Facebook groups for cardmaking and this particular embossing folder from All Occasions is a very sought after piece of cardmaking tools.  I managed to get one last year but haven’t had much time to play around with it.  I had seen some gorgeous cards made from it and just had to have a go.

20160619_180410

I have used the Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms stamp and die set to make the flowers.

Tutorial for making the flowers.

  1. I have stamped the images onto vellum using the Stampendous Aged Ivory embossing powder which is just gorgeous.  I then turned the images over and using a sponge dauber I have used Memento Toffee Crunch and sponged the colour lightly on the back.  This is what it looks like on the front of the flowers.

20160619_155145

2. I then die cut the flowers and using my fingers I squeezed the petals together to create some shape in the flowers.

20160619_155930

3.  Using my Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit I pressed down on the centres of each layer and then adhered them together using the Art Glitter Designers Dries Clear glue to put them together.  Some have four layers some have two layers and some are just single.

These flowers look lovely on the Arianna Lace die.

As you can see these are very easy to make and add a lovely touch of glamour to your projects.

Materials used:

Stamps – Arianna Blooms

Dies – Arianna Blooms, Ariana Lace Die

Embossing Folder – All Occasions

Cardstock – Pearlised from Rosies Studio

Paper – Christina Re

Pearls – Stampin Up

Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit

Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Adhesive

These flowers look fabulous but are so easy to make.  I hope you have a lot of fun making them.

Have a great week and Happy Crafting.
