Elegant Anniversary Card in Cream, Gold & Soft Florals

Kia ora Koutou Crafty Friends

There’s something timeless about a soft cream and gold colour palette, and today’s anniversary card embraces that elegance beautifully. Layered with cream cardstock, sparkling cream glitter, and luxurious gold accents, this design has a rich and sophisticated feel—perfect for celebrating a special milestone.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

Design Inspiration

The background features delicate embossed detail, adding subtle texture and depth without overwhelming the design. A decorative flourish die and a label die create intricate layers and frame the focal point, giving the card a graceful and romantic look.

The handcrafted pink flowers bring a lovely softness to the design, with gentle shades that complement the warm cream tones perfectly. Paired with fresh green foliage, they create a beautiful contrast and add a natural touch of colour.

To finish, I added pearl accents for a hint of classic elegance and a cream silk ribbon bow for that final luxurious detail. The hot foiled sentiment adds just the right amount of shine, tying all the gold elements together for a cohesive finish.

This card would be perfect for celebrating weddings, anniversaries, or any occasion that calls for something extra special.

Design Details:

  • Layered cream, cream glitter, and gold cardstock
  • Embossed background for texture
  • Decorative die-cut elements that bring the focus to the sentiment
  • Handcrafted pink flowers for the special personal touch
  • Green foliage accents that help make the flowers pop
  • Hot foiled sentiment to add a touch of classic elegance
  • Pearl embellishments for classic elegance
  • Cream silk ribbon bow for a touch of luxury

Final Thoughts

I love how soft and elegant this card feels while still having plenty of detail and sparkle. The combination of texture, florals, and metallic accents makes it a beautiful keepsake for such a meaningful occasion.

Amazing Paper Grace Snip It Flowers Anniversary Card

Kia ora Koutou

I have been a huge fan of Becca Feeken since she first started Amazing Paper Grace and I have absolutely loved her intricate and decorative designs that can be used in so many ways. The Amazing Paper Grace September 2019 Die of the Month – Snip It Flowers is one of these dies that can be used in so many ways and I know that I will be using this die a LOT! I love the floral motifs that can be snipped to create lots of different designs and here I have created a small square with the die and framed them with the newer Picot Petite Square and Fluted Classic Square dies for an elegant, timeless and classic design. Of course I had to add some flowers, butterflies and pearls to finish the card.

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card I have made a 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ top folding card base out of heavy white cardstock. I then added a layer of gold, ivory and blue cardstock. I cut another piece of ivory and blue cardstock and layered them together and added this to the front of the card with fun foam. I die cut two panels of the Snip It Flowers out of ivory cardstock and trimmed one die to 9 flowers. I then trimmed the flowers only of the second die and adhered them to the complete die for a little more dimension. This was then added to the front of the blue square. I die cut the larger floral motif out of blue cardstock and the smaller floral motif out of ivory cardstock and layered them to the centre of the flowers.

I die cut the large square frame from the Picot Petite Square dies out of gold cardstock and then added the large square frame die cut from the large Fluted Classic Square dies out of ivory cardstock. The whole frame was then added to the front of the decorative dies with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the All Occasions Sentiments Stamp in Wow embossing ink on vellum and heat embossed it with fine detail gold embossing powder. I die cut this out using the banner die from the Just a Note Sentiments Tag Clear Stamp and Die Set and adhered this to the centre of the card at each end only and added a pearl to each end to hide the glue.

I die cut the leaf flourish from the My Sweet Friend die set out of light green cardstock, trimmed it and added it around the right side of the sentiment. I die cut small flowers using the dies from the Petite Floral Potpourri die set and coloured them with pink, yellow and blue inks. These were shaped and I added some wire pollen stamens to the centre. I trimmed the wires and added the flowers over the leaves and around the sentiment as shown.

To finish I added two butterflies from the Butterfly Garden Shutter set made from ivory, blue, black and gold cardstocks and white pearls to the centre of the flowers on the background die.

Amazing Paper Grace Happy Anniversary

Kia ora Koutou

Today I have combined three of my favourite techniques – flower making, die cutting and hot foiling in this anniversary card. I have been toying with an idea about hot foiling on acetate and finally managed to do a card with this idea. I still have other others in my head with hot foiling on acetate so watch this space… I have made a beautiful panel embossing rose coloured pearl card and hot foiling acetate with the same plate using the Amazing Paper Grace Diamonetta Background Hot Foil Plate and I was very pleased with how this card turned out. Add some beautiful borders from the Amazing Paper Grace Graceful Brackets and hand made Layered Cherry Blossoms finished with a very elegant hot foiled sentiment and the card is so elegant and very pretty

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

For my card I have created a top folding 6″ x 6″ card base out of white cardstock. I layered the front with gold and Rose Glow card. I scored double lines down each side of the Rose Gold card to create some interest in the background.

I cut a piece of Rose Glow card 2 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ and embossed it with the Diamonetta Background Hot Foil Plate and added it across the front the card in the centre. I then hot foiled a piece of acetate 3″ x 5 3/4″ using the same hot plate in gold foil and adhered it over the embossed panel with double sided tape.

I die cut two background borders out of gold cardstock and two decorative borders out of Ivory cardstock using the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Graceful Brackets. I adhered the decorative borders over the gold background slightly offsetting the dies to show some gold. These were then added either side of the centre panel. I die cut two scallop borders from the Amazing Paper Grace Graceful Brackets dies out of gold cardstock and adhered them to the borders as shown.

I hot foiled the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Occasions Sentiment Hot Foil Plate and Die in gold foil and die cut it with the coordinating die. I also die cut three plain dies and stacked them together and added the foil sentiment on top. This was then placed in the centre of the decorative panel.

I die cut the flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Cherry dies and coloured them and assembled them. These were adhered to the right and left of the sentiment. I die cut the leaves from green cardstock and added them around the flowers.

To finish I added clear Wink of Stella to the flowers and gold pearls to the centres of the lattice and to the centres of the flowers.
