Graphic 45 Taste of Summer

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I have a card made from Graphic 45 papers with some help from Heartfelt Creations tag dies.

I had made this card along with the shadow box frame that I eventually used for the Graphic 45 audition.  I love the contrast of the purple cardstock with the vibrant and colourful paper from Graphic 45.

Materials Used:

Graphic 45 Seasons Collection

Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe Collection

Heartfelt Creations Album Tags & Accents Dies

Creative expressions Iris Cardstock

Hemp Twine

Metal Embellishments

Scissors

Foam Tape

Instructions:

Cut a piece of cardstock 10″ x 7″, score at 5″ along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5″ x 7″.  Cut a piece of Iris cardstock 5″ x 7″ and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut the 4″ x 6″ panel from the Seasons Collection and adhere to the front over the Iris card.  Cut another piece of Iris cardstock 5″ x 7″ and piece of green stripped paper from the Floral Shoppe collection 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ and adhere to the middle of this card.  Die cut the tag out of the centre using the inner die from the Album Tag & Accents Die.  Die cut a narrow frame out of the Iris cardstock and adhere to the previously cut frame.  Adhere the outer frame to the card front using foam tape.

Fussy cut the floral images and hummingbird out from another panel on the same sheet of paper and adhere to the outer frame just over the sunflowers on the bottom right.  Fussy cut a small floral image from the paper with the small hummingbird and adhere to the bottom frame just to the left of the sunflowers.

Add narrow hemp cord on the bottom right corner.

Fussy cut the sunflowers out and adhere to the bottom right with double foam layers over the inner frame and single layer on the outer frame.

Cut the sentiment from the paper and adhere to the left as shown.

To finish add the small gold leaves around the flowers.

I would like to thank my friend Sue Hart for inspiring me to apply for the Graphic 45 team.

Graphic 45 2019 Brand Ambassador Audition

Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I am auditioning to become a Brand Ambassador for Graphic 45.  I have a shadow box that I have used Floral Shoppe patterned paper.  This paper is quite busy and I have tried to recreate the effect of cascading flowers over the tag in the shadow box.

Materials Used:

Graphic 45 Floral Shoppe Collection

iCraft Shadow Box – Kraft

iCraft corner wooden embellishments

Scissors

Art Glitter Dries Clear glue

Foam tape

Nuvo Embellishment Mousse – Seaspray, Indian Gold

Finnabair Mechanicals Tin Hearts

Finnabair Vintage Mechanicals – Flowers Small

Rosie’s Studio Metal Trinkets

Instructions:

Assemble the shadow box.  Colour with the Nuvo Embellishments Seaspray Green and Indian gold to create the shiny patina effect.

Cut a piece of patterned paper 3 1/2″ x 5″ and adhere to the centre of the box.  Add the tag to the bottom right as shown with foam tape.  Add a half flower and heart embellishment to the bottom left of the tag.  Add a metal flower to the top left.

Colour with the wooden corner embellishments with Nuvo Embellishments Seaspray Green and Indian gold to create the shiny patina effect.  Adhere to the top left and the bottom right corners.  Add a small metal dragonfly to the bottom right as shown.

Fussy cut the flowers and sprays from the patterned paper and layer inside the shadow box cascading down over the tag as shown.  I have used 2 layers of foam to create the dimension.

Fussy cut the large spray of flowers and adhere to the top left with foam tape over the corner embellishment.  Fussy cut another couple of sprays of flowers and adhere to the frame under the large spray as shown with Dries Clear glue.

Add the wooden ‘Inspire’ word to the top right under the large spray.

To finish off add the bee on the bottom left and the heart on the top right under the word.
