Kia Ora Koutou

Welcome back and today I thought I would share some cards that I made during our lockdown. Just prior to going into lockdown I had ordered the Simon Says Stamp kit of the month set for something different to try. In this kit was these three images to colour in and I have tried three different colouring techniques.

First up is these lovely daisy images that I have coloured in with the watercolour pencils that I got with the kit. I love the soft tones of the colouring and I was very happy with the outcome.

My second card I coloured with the watercolour pencils but this time I did not use water to soften the colouring. This was good practice for me to get the folds but I still need lots more practice.

My final card is some dogwoods that I have coloured with Prismacolour pencils. I will always remember colouring these in while watching all the news briefings on the Covid19 cases in New Zealand.

I really enjoyed practising my colouring but this is still a work in progress.
