Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month

The Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock is so elegant and reminded me of the beautiful and ornate French Ormulu clocks that often had beautiful hand painted floral images and sometimes flowers. For my projects today I have used pearlised cardstock and a pretty floral image in the centre of the clock combined with handcrafted flowers to replicate the look of a porcelain china antique clock.

Today’s creations were created with the dies supplied by Amazing Paper Grace.

There are 21 cutting dies included in the Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock.

My Projects Today:

Today I have a card and a 3D vignette using the Amazing Paper Grace November 2022 Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Alarm Clock. I have paired the clock with Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Rectangles Etched Dies Picot Petite Collection from Amazing Paper Grace by Becca Feeken and the Amazing Paper Grace Fluted Classics Rectangles Etched Dies from the Fluted Classics Collection by Becca Feeken for an elegant card. Both projects have handcrafted flower embellishments.

I have used a transfer sheet with a pretty floral spray for the centre of the clocks and have coloured the flowers and leaves to coordinated with the floral image. To complete the porcelain china look I have painted the flowers with clear gloss gel and sprinkled some ultrafine crystal glitter over for a pretty shiny and sparkly finish.

The flowers have been created using the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms Etched Dies from the Classically Becca Collection by Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken, Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Flowers III and the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud.

I have die cut two layers of the clock hands to help create some dimension and allow the clock hands to stand out.

I have added a gold gem to the middle of the clock.

Amazing Paper Grace – 3D Hot Air Balloon

As soon as I saw the new Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Hot Air Balloon Etched Dies from 3D Vignette Collection by Becca Feeken from the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Collection I instantly thought of creating a sweet baby card. This design would be perfect done in so many colour combinations to suit all tastes. I used this as an opportunity to make some gorgeous flowers to decorate the balloon for a pretty and feminine finish to the card.

Dies provided by Amazing Paper Grace were used in today’s creations.

My Projects for Today

For my 4″ x 6″ card I have added a pretty embossed base for my hot air balloon. I have added a pink and white balloon with silver trims to the card front and popped some clouds behind the balloon. The sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace My Sweet Friend Etched Dies from the Right Words Collection by Becca Feeken. I have handcrafted roses from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud die and the small flowers are from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies from Beautiful Sentiment Vignettes Collection by Becca Feeken. To finish the baby card I have added a foiled sentiment from a Spellbinders Sentiments for Everyday Glimmer Plate and Die set.

This sentiment from the Spellbinders Sentiments for Everyday Glimmer Plate and Die set is perfect for this card.

I have die cut three ‘Baby Girl’ sentiment out of pink cardstock three times and stacked them together to create more dimension and help the sentiment to pop from the background.

I sponged the basket with Sepia ink for a more dimensional look.

The roses have been coloured with pink and yellow inks to create a two toned effect.

I have angled the balloon on the card to enable me to add the sentiment to the base of the card.

I have used the same yellow in the rose for the smaller flowers and the small blue flowers are the same colour as the clouds to help create a harmonious colour palette.

The flowers have been painted with a clear gloss medium and sprinkled lightly with ultrafine crystal glitter for some sparkle.

Charming Classic Roses

I have a simple card to share with you today featuring the beautiful new Filigree Frames & Border Dies and the Elegant Rose Frames collection from Heartfelt Creations. Sometimes less is more and I have kept the background and flowers to a minimum to really showcase the beautiful border dies and let the floral images and sentiment shine.

Today’s project was created with products provided by Heartfelt Creations.

Instructions:

Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 10” x 7”, score at 5” along the long side and fold to create a base card of 5” x 7”.  Cut a piece of gold cardstock 5” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut a piece of dark purple pattern paper 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” and adhere to the front of the gold cardstock.  Cut a piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper 4 5/8” x 6 5/8” and adhere to the front of the green pattern paper.  Cut a piece of light green pattern paper 4 1/2” x 6 1/2” and adhere to the front of the white cardstock.

Cut four edges using the decorative edge die from the HCD2-7425 Filigree Border & Accents Die – two from Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and two from gold cardstock.  Adhere the gold decorative edges behind the white edges slightly offsetting the edges.  Cut  a piece of gold cardstock 1 5/8” x 7” and adhere to the front of the card.  Cut a piece of yellow pattern paper 1 1/2” x 7” and adhere to the gold band.  Adhere the decorative edges to both long sides of the band and then adhere the band to the front of the card.

Stamp the straight rose spray from the HCPC-31003 Stylish Rose Frame Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black ink on Iris cardstock.  Colour the images with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die.  Adhere to the centre of the band.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3959 Holly Berry Spray using English Ivy ink on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and die cut with the coordinating die. Add Crystal Clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium and adhere to leaves to the top right and two leaves to the bottom left.

Stamp the leaf images from the HCPC-3752 Classic Rose Cling Stamp set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper  in English Ivy ink.  Colour the leaves with Leaf Green and Violet ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour the back of the leaves with Leaf Green ink and shape using the coordinating mold.  Add Crystal Clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium with a paint brush and adhere a leaf over the other leaves on the top right and the top left of the card.

Stamp the rose petal images from the HCPC-3752 Classic Rose Cling Stamp set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper in Deep Purple ink.  Colour from the centre of the petals to the outer petals in Violet ink and then stamp the centres with Majestic Violet ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour the backs of the petals with Violet ink.  Shape the petals with a groove golf tool and then assemble the roses using three of one size petal and two of the next size petal down.  Add Crystal Clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium with a paintbrush and then adhere the roses over the leaves as shown.

To create the rose buds, stamp the second smallest rose petal images from the HCPC-3752 Classic Rose Cling Stamp set in Deep Purple ink.  Colour from the centre of the petals to the outer petals in Violet ink and then stamp the centres with Majestic Violet ink and die cut with the coordinating dies.  Colour the backs of the petals with Violet ink.  Shape the petals with a groove golf tool and assemble using two of the petals.  Stamp the sepal image from the HCPC-3980 Sweet Pea Cling Stamp set on Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using English Ivy ink.  Colour the images with Leaf Green ink and Violet ink and die cut with the coordinating die.  Colour the sepals on the backs with Leaf Green ink and shape using a golf tool.  Adhere the small rose bud to the centre of the sepal, add Crystal clear glitter using clear gloss gel medium with a paint brush and adhere to the top right and bottom left as shown.

Add Crystal Clear glitter using Dries Clear glue on a sponge around the card base for some sparkle.

To finish add some clear iridescent gems to the centre of the frame.

Inside card

Cut a piece of gold cardstock 4 15/16” x 7” and adhere to the inside back of the card.  Cut a piece of dark purple pattern paper  4 13/16” x 6 7/8”” and adhere to the front of the gold cardstock.  Cut a piece of gold cardstock 4 11/16” x 6 5/8:”  and adhere to the front of the purple paper.  Cut a piece of light green pattern paper 4 7/16” x 6 1/2” and adhere to the gold cardstock.

Stamp the Have a Wonderful Day sentiment from the HCPC-31004 Elegant Rose Sentiments Cling Stamp Set in Jet Black  ink on Iris cardstock.  Colour the roses on the image with Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers and die cut with the coordinating die.  Die cut the background die out of vellum and adhere the sentiment to this.  Adhere the sentiment to the centre of the inside back of the card.
