Kia Ora and Welcome Back
It is time again for some more gorgeous inspiration at Heartfelt Creations and you can see all the lovely projects here: https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/blog/652/elegant-new-inspiration-christmas-savings-for-you
Today I have a layout that I have done using the larger Camelia Carnation stamp and die set. I absolutely loved this paper and the larger carnations fitted well on it. The photo of Emma Lou and myself was taken when she visited New Zealand in February this year. We had such a magical day learning to make cards and an album.

To make the carnations stamp the images from the HCPC-3806 Small Carnation and the HCPC-3807 Large Carnation Stamp sets with the Cherry Pink and Black Cherry inks on Art Foam Paper and die cut with the coordinating images. Sponge the edges of the petals with the Carmine 3D stamp paint using a damp sponge. Add Frosting Powder with Dries Clear glue using a damp sponge on the petals. Heat and shape before assembling with a hot glue gun. Poke a hole in the centre of the flowers and then take some white fluffy stamens and white rock candy stamens, fold them in half and pull them through the centre of the flowers with a piece of lightweight wire. Add glue to the back and trim the ends. Adhere to the paper as shown.
To make the single carnations stamp the images from the HCPC-3806 Small Carnation stamp set using Black Cherry and Pink Cherry inks on Art Foam Paper and die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges lightly with Carmine 3D stamp paint. Heat and shape lightly. Take two dark pink rock candy stamens and fold in half and pull them through the centres of the flowers with a piece of lightweight wire. Add glue to the back and trim the ends before adhering around the flowers as shown.
To make the leaves stamp the leaf images from the Small Carnation stamp set on Art Foam Paper in Forest Green ink. Sponge the leaves with Lime Pastel ink and die cut using the coordinating dies. Sponge the edges with Grass Green stamp paint, heat and shape lightly. Adhere around the flowers as shown with a hot glue gun.
To make the leaves on the front stamp the leaf images from the HCPC3753 Classic Rose Vines Cling Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink. Sponge the leaves with Bamboo Leaves and die cut with the coordinating die. Shape, and adhere around the top of the flowers as shown.
To make the smaller flowers stamp the images from the HCPC-3651 Botanical Rose Stamp set in Black Cherry ink on Art Foam Paper. Sponge the centres with Canteloupe ink, add Frosting Powder with Dries Clear glue and die cut with the coordinating die. Heat and shape using the tools from the Deluxe Flower Shaping tools. Trim the dark yellow stamens and add to the centres of the flowers using Dries Clear Glue. Adhere around the top of the paper as shown.
Die Cut the eyelet hearts out of dark pink paper using the second and third largest eyelet dies from the HCD1-7162 Eyelet Hearts Die sets. Then die cut a heart using the coordinating plain edge die for the larger heart and adhere to that heart. Stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3813 Today’s Quotes Stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink on the light green patterned paper. Die cut this from the coordinating plain edge die for the smaller pink eyelet heart and then adhere to this heart. Adhere to the layout as shown.
Cut the decorative strip from the patterned paper and adhere to the bottom of the page as shown. Cut a strip of ½” x 12” from the light green patterned paper and adhere below the decorative strip. Cut 2 lace edges from the HCD1-7161 Sweetheart Borders Die set in white cardstock, trim and adhere under the green strip. Add a string of pearls along this border and finish with a small white satin ribbon bow in the centre.
