I have a very pretty feminine card to share with you today. I love my roses and I just had to get the Pink Fresh Garden Roses set including the stamp, die, and stencils. It is just stunning!! My inspiration has come from Yasmin Diaz who is an influencer for Pink Fresh Studio. I follow Yasmin Diaz on Instagram and on her blog and she shared the instructions on how to make a step card without complicated scoring and cutting. It is so easy to make and can be decorated in so many ways.
My Project
I have created the base card using the instructions from here out of white cardstock. I die cut a plain circle die from my stash out of white cardstock and then the circle out using the Stitched Circle dies. I die cut one inner circle and three outer circles and added them to the base circle and added them to the front of the card. I then just stenciled the roses using Gina K inks – Light Carnation, Medium Carnation and Dark Carnations for the roses and Light Spruce and Medium Spruce for the leaves. I die cut them out using the coordinating die and I then cut out another plain die and stacked the two dies together with the coloured image on top. I then trimmed the flowers and added them to the top right of the circle and bottom left of the circle. In the middle of the circle I added a hot foiled sentiment that could be personalised for many occasions.
To finish I hot foiled the small butterflies from the Small Butterfly Hot Foil Plate with gold foil and then coloured the butterflies with the inks from the Fairy Dust ink collection. I die cut the butterflies and added one to the top right and one to the bottom left. To finish I added some gold pearls for decoration.

I so love the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette collection from Becca Feeken. Becca has an impeccable eye for detail and this 3D Vignette Hot Air Balloon is no exception. I love all the festoons and the little basket which looks so realistic. And of course I had to add some sweet little handcrafted flowers to finish this card. These cards are so quick and easy to put together once you have everything die cut and ready to go.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my project I have followed the instructions that come with this die set and created a pink and white striped balloon. I have added silver details with the festoons, ribbons and the wires for the basket out of silver cardstock. I added small clouds to the base of the balloon that have been lightly inked with blue ink and finished the card with some handcrafted flowers made using flowers from the Cinch and Go Flowers III and Petite Floral Potpourri dies. The leaves are from the Cinch and Go IV Flower dies.
Now that Easter is behind us it is not far until Mother’s Day. Every year I like to make a Mother’s Day card for myself and this year I have made another pillar card featuring Susan’s Garden Floribunda Rose dies, Ferns & Ivy dies and Forget-Me-Knot & Ladybugs Dies. I finished off the card with a sweet butterfly from the Spellbinders Glimmering Butterflies that I had hot foiled onto acetate. The sentiment is from the Amazing Paper Grace Merry Everything Dies by Becca Feeken. The embossed finish is from the Amazing Paper Grace 3D Orange Peel Embossing Folder by Becca Feeken – one of my go to embossing folders.
For the flowers I have used Rajni Chawla’s Flower Shaping Paper. I absolutely love using this paper as it is so easy to colour and shape and when dry is very robust. For more information on this paper please contact Rajni on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/rajni.chawla.121.
The little ladybirds are so sweet and very easy to make. I die cut them out of red cardstock, shaped them and added the black marks with a fine tip black pen.

This collection features dimensional flowers and and a stunning image that is just perfect to colour. Today I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring some older Amazing Paper Grace dies with new flowers and a gorgeous butterfly. I really love the Amazing Paper Grace dies that you can die cut and emboss and the finish is so elegant and beautiful! I have made a card base using the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rectangles, Hemstitch Rectangles and Isadora Trinkets dies to show how easy it is to get this gorgeous finish. I added some pretty handcrafted flowers and a sweet butterfly to embellish this card.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my card I have created a base card of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ out of white cardstock. I have layered die cut and embossed Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rectangles, Hemstitch Rectangles and Isadora Trinkets dies with gold for a classic and elegant finish.
I have made the flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms and Petite Floral Potpourri dies and added them to leaves made from the Amazing Paper Grace Sweet Cottage Flowers and the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – Aug22 – Peekaboo Trellis and cut out of green cardstock. To finish the flowers I have added micro polystyrene balls that I have dyed with some pale lavender alcohol ink and added them to the leaves for more dimension and interest.
The sentiment is from the Amazing Paper Grace With Love Regalia Card Builder – another one of my favourite dies. To complete the card I have created a butterfly out of vellum and cardstock and added it to the card.
The sentiment has been die cut three times – two from white cardstock and one from gold cardstock and stacked together with the gold on top and added to the middle of the card.
The Amazing Paper Grace Isadora Trinkets dies embossed so nicely.
The pink lily flowers have been inspired by a tutorial on the Amazing Paper Grace Encouragement Community Group on Facebook by Anita Kejriwal where she made some Alstromeras from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go Blossoms.
I would like to wish you all a happy Easter. I hope you all have a lovely weekend celebrating this occasion with family and friends.
Mother’s Day is not far away and I have a sweet Mother’s Day card to share with you. I fell in love with the Altenew Vintage Lace Embossing Folder and the coordinating stencils because the honeycomb background is just gorgeous and I just love roses! I tend to gravitate to roses all the time… I have made a step card using a retired die from Spellbinders – Decorated Birthday Pop Up die and decorated the front with strips made from die cutting white card with the Lawn Fawn Quilted Background die. I then embossed a piece of white cardstock and coloured the roses with the coordinating stencil. I trimmed this down and added a frame using the Amazing Paper Grace Oval Fluted Classics with foam tape to put the focus on the roses.
I reverse hot foiled the Mother’s Day sentiment from Spellbinders Happy Parents hot foil plate and die cut it with the coordinating die.
To finish I have added pink jewels to the intersections of the quilted background.

While I am headed for autumn and winter here in New Zealand spring is on its welcome way to the Northern Hemisphere and Easter is just around the corner. Today I have another Easter card featuring gorgeous Amazing Paper Grace flowers to share with you. My inspiration was a picture in my mind of a little bunny rabbit in amongst all the pretty spring flowers with birds singing and Easter eggs strewn around the flowers. For my card I have used two Amazing Paper Grace flower dies for this card – Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go V flowers and the ever so useful Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies to create a carpet of flowers with the rabbit sitting in them and some birds singing around it on a background of a gorgeous frame using the Amazing Paper Grace Romantic Chargeour by Becca Feeken.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my card today I have made a 5″ x 7″ card base and layered a mix of pink papers and white cardstock to create the base for the card front. I have die cut three large decorative frames from the Amazing Paper Grace Romantic Chargeour out of white cardstock and stacked them together and then adhered it to the card front. I die cut one of the inner cuts using the smaller decorative die and adhered it to the middle of the frame. Another pink patterned paper was cut out using the smallest die from the same set and adhered it to the centre of the frame. I then added the rabbit and other ephemera to create the base for the flowers.
I have used soft pastel shades to colour the flowers from the Amazing Paper Grace Petite Floral Potpourri Etched Dies and the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go V Etched Dies once I had shaped and assembled them I added them to the base of the rabbit as shown. I then added the leaves cut out from green cardstock from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go V Flowers die set and added them around the flowers. I died some small polystyrene balls purple and added them on the nest and around the flowers.
I have die cut three Happy Easter sentiments from the Amazing Paper Grace Merry Everything Etched Dies – two from white cardstock and one from blue pattern paper, stacked them together with the blue sentiment on top and then adhered the words to the top of the card as shown.
Today I am sharing another gorgeous floral Easter card inspiration that is a slight departure from my usual style of cards. It is always good to stretch and challenge oneself! I have just purchased some beautiful Mintay papers – Elodie and I just love the soft pastel shades and designs of this collection. I have combined these papers and die cuts with some cute Easter themed Mintay Chippies and Heartfelt Creations flowers and dies for a sweet one of a kind Easter card. The florals remind us that for many around the world spring is on the way and it is time to ‘celebrate new beginnings’.
My project for today
I have created a 5″ x 7″ card base and layered different blue pattern papers and white cardstock to create the base. I die cut the decorative die from the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Circle Frames three times from white cardstock and then adhered to the front of the card. I die cut the eyelet edge circle from another contrasting pattern from the Elodie papers and adhere to the front of the decorative die. I have then added a mix of die cuts and chippies to the card front to create the background scene for the card. I have made lilies and small clematis flowers out of Rajni Chawla’s Flower Shaping Paper and adhered them around the images and chippies. I then stamped and die cut the leaves from the Garden Lilies stamp and die set and the Holly Berry Spray stamp and die set. I shaped these leaves and then added them around the flowers as shown.
The pink filler flowers have been created adding the pink Prills to some floral wire with a hot glue gun. These make great fillers and the pink toned really well with the Elodie papers.
To complete the card I have stamped the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Seasonal Motif Sentiments Clear Stamp Set in Altenew Obisidian Pigment ink on white cardstock and then die cut it out with the tag die from the Amazing Paper Grace Just a Note Sentiments. This was adhered to the top right of the card and to finish I added a small blue jewel.
