I have another Christmas card to share with you today for my Christmas in July collection. I am really in love with this colour combination and I couldn’t stop playing with the Amazing Paper Grace Christmas collections. This card features the gorgeous classic Amazing Paper Grace Joy Flourish Doily from the Christmas Flourishes Collection by Becca Feeken. This set has everything needed to make a stunning card and all I have done is added some handmade poinsettias and leaves.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my card I have made a base card of 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ out of white cardstock. I have layered gold and white cardstock to the front of the card and embossed the top white layer using the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Flourish Embossing Folder. I die cut the base of the Amazing Paper Grace Joy Flourish Doily out of gold cardstock and then die cut the edge using the base and the decorative die and adhered it to the edge of the base. I die cut three decorative dies out of white cardstock using the decorative die and the inner plain die to make a frame and stacked them together. I adhered them to the front of the base and added a single layer of the inner to the centre of the frame as shown. I die cut two ‘joy’ sentiments – one from gold cardstock and one from white cardstock and stacked them together with the gold sentiment on top. This was then added to the centre of the doily. I die cut the ‘TO THE WORLD’ sentiment out of a strip of 1/4″ strip of white cardstock and then matted it with gold cardstock and adhered it over the ‘joy’ sentiment.
I die cut several leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – November 2020- 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh out of green cardstock and added them to the bottom left and top right of the decorative doily. I handcrafted pink and green poinsettias from the same set and added them over the leaves. To finish I added some holly leaves from the Amazing Paper Grace Joy Flourish Doily in a different green cardstock around the flowers and other leaves.
To finish I added some gold pearls to the centres of the flowers, around the flowers and on the doily.
Today I am sharing a quick and easy Thank You card featuring the Pink Fresh Studio Anemone Magic washi tape flowers and dies. These flowers were left over from card kits I made for my friend Meetu at Krafters Cart where I will be teaching some classes at SENZ in Auckland next weekend. I love the Pink Fresh studio Stained Glass die and here I have die cut two dies and adhered one upside down to create a new look for my background. The round Stitched Scallop dies created a frame for the pretty flowers and I have finished the card with a hot foiled sentiment and vellum butterflies.
My Project
For my card I have made a tent fold 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base out of white cardstock. I have die cut two dies using the Pink Fresh Studio Stained Glass die and adhered them together by putting one the opposite way to the other to make a wonderful textured background. I then die cut the circle die using the Pink Fresh Studio Essentials Stitched Scallop Circles die and adhered it to the front of the card. I added some flowers around the circle and added a hot foiled sentiment to the centre of the circle from the Pink Fresh Studio Perfect Sentiments set. To finish the card I added a couple of vellum hot foiled butterflies from the Pink Fresh Studio Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate and Die sets.
This card was so quick and easy to put together.

Today I am continuing my theme of gold, white, pink and green Christmas cards by going back in time and using the stunning November 2020 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh with the Amazing Paper Grace Pinstripe Bracket Card Builder hot foil plate and the Amazing Paper Grace Mosaic Bracket Card Builder die set from the Amazing Paper Grace Holiday Medley Collection by Becca Feeken for a beautiful Christmas card. I love how easy it is to mix and match Amazing Paper Grace Christmas collections and I know that my friends and family will love their Christmas cards.

My Project
For my card today I have made a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ base card. I have cut a piece of white cardstock 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and hot foiled one side using the Amazing Paper Grace Pinstripe Bracket Card Builder hot foil plate in gold foil. I adhered this to the front of the card with the foiled side at the top of the card. I then die cut two decorative brackets from the Amazing Paper Grace Mosaic Bracket Card Builder die set – one from gold card and one from white card. I adhered the two brackets together with the white bracket on top of the gold bracket which is slightly offset. I then created a base for the brackets by cutting a piece of white cardstock 5 1/2″ long and using one of the edge dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Mosaic Bracket Card Builder die set I die cut the edge to fit the mosaic brackets on. This bracket was then added to the bottom of the card – I had to trim the sides of the bracket. I then hot foiled the trim from the Amazing Paper Grace Pinstripe Bracket Card Builder hot foil plate set and die cut using the dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Mosaic Bracket Card Builder die set. This was then added to the top of the brackets to neaten the edge.
The sleigh ha been die cut out using gold and white cardstock using the November 2020 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh. I added this to the front of the card using foam squares and then added pink and green poinsettias to the sleigh over green leaves.
To finish the card I used the sentiment die from the November 2020 Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – Pop Up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh and added it to the top left of the card.

I have a sweet and simple card to share with you today. I am really loving the intricate and detailed layering flower dies that are being released by Honey Bee Stamps and so I took the plunge and purchased the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers – Dogwood Honey Cuts and had a play. I prefer soft pastel shades and for this card I have used soft pink and green inks to make dogwood flowers that pop on a white framed embossed background with a simple foiled sentiment.
My Project
For my card today I have made a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ tent card and embossed a piece of white cardstock using the stunning Honey Bee Stamps Daisy Field 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the front. I die cut a frame using the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scallop Rectangle dies and added it to the front of the card with foam strips for more dimension.
I die cut two base layers of the Dogwood dies and adhered them together. I then coloured the stems with brown copic markers to create the branches. The flowers and leaves were die cut separately and coloured using Pink Fresh Studio inks – Grassy Knoll, Key Lime and Bubble Gum. These were added to the branches and I then added the branches and flowers to the front of the card as shown.
To finish I added a sentiment from the Spellbinders Be Bold Glimmer Sentiments that had been hot foiled with Matte Gold.

Wow it is hard to believe that it is just 6 months until Christmas! Where has the year gone… Anyway I have officially started making my Christmas cards and I was rummaging through all the Amazing Paper Grace Christmas dies and there was so much to choose from and I should have a lovely range of cards by the end of the year. This year I have decided to go with a pink, green, gold and white theme for my Christmas cards. I started with making lots of pretty pink and green poinsettias from the Amazing Paper Grace November 2020 Die of the Month – 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh die set and then for this card I have added them to card made using the Amazing Paper Grace Noel Mini Slimline Dies, Silent Night Make A Scene Dies and Elegant Holiday Sentiments. Once the flowers were made this was a super quick and easy card and super elegant Christmas card.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
For my Christmas card I have made a 5″ x 7″ base card and layered the front with gold and white cardstock – with the top layer embossed using the Amazing Paper Grace Holly Flourish Embossing Folder to add some texture to the background. I then die cut the frame from the Amazing Paper Grace Noel Mini Slimline Dies – the base out of gold cardstock and the top out of white cardstock. After adhering the frame together I added it to the card front with foam tape. I then hot foiled the sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Holiday Sentiments in gold foil and then die cut the sentiment using the inner die from the frame and then inserted it inside the frame.
I die cut three Santa sleighs using the die from the Amazing Paper Grace Silent Night Make A Scene Dies – two from white cardstock and one from gold cardstock. I stacked these together and adhered them to the top of the frame as shown.
I have made the poinsettias using the poinsettia dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – November 2020- 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh out of flower shaping paper. I have assembled them with two petals of one size and one petal of the next size down. I added a gold gem to the centre of the flowers and then added them over the coordinating leaves from the same die set die cut from green cardstock in two different shades.
To finish I have added some gold gems around the flowers.
I have been teaching myself how to colour with Copic markers and I have started taking classes through Kit and Clowder. I have coloured for many years and recently I have been using Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers but I have got arthritis in my hands and holding the pens are getting harder for me. So I decided that this year I would look into learning how to colour with Copics as the pens are much easier for me to grip and I have more control. I will post pictures of the classes I have taken so as to show my journey in coming posts.
For my card today I have used a Woodware Craft Collection stamp called Anemone. It is a fairly simple stamp to colour in and good to practice my techniques. I have used a colour combination from one of the classes I have taken which is so pretty. I am still working on my ‘flicks’ and control and it will be interesting to colour this stamp again some time in the future to see how I progress in my colouring journey. However, I am pleased with how I am going and have to set a timer for me to colour in as I enjoy it so much.
For my card base I have used a fabulous embossing folder from Altenew called ‘Wicker Texture’ and then I have added a small frame from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rectangles to create some interest in the background and also to ground the flower. The sentiment is from the Amazing Paper Grace Lyrical Layered Florals Clear Stamp and Die set. I have kept the background clean and simple to allow the vibrant coloured flower to be the hero.
I often take a lot of inspiration for my flowers and cards from nature and today’s card is no exception. We are in the midst of winter here in New Zealand and it is so lovely to see the gorgeous pops of colour from camellias in the gardens. I often take my phone out with me when I go on my walk with my cat in the mornings. This sweet camellia took my eye and it inspired my flowers today. I am not really a gardener and I am unsure of the camellia’s name but it is a very pretty little flower with just a hint of pink in it’s petals with dark green leaves to set them off. I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud dies to create these flowers and they were so quick and easy to make and the branch from the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Cherry Blossoms was perfect to go with the leaves and flowers. And of course I cannot forget the stunning Amazing Paper Grace Picot Petite Collection that I have used to create a very decorative base for this card.
Here is a photo I took of these flowers.
Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.
My Project
I have created a 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ card base and layered gold and white cardstock to create the base for the decorative dies. I have die cut the base from the Amazing Paper Grace Filigree Quartet dies and then die cut the four decorative panels out of gold and white cardstock. I have adhered the white panels over the gold cardstock and slightly overlapped the for a hint of gold. These were adhered over the base and then added to the front of the card. I die cut two small circles from the Amazing Paper Grace Round Picot Petite Dies – one from white cardstock and one from gold cardstock. These were adhered together with the gold under the white circle slightly offset again and I have adhered them to the front of the card. I made the branches using the branch dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Layered Cherry dies and coloured them with copic markers I added them to the card front and then added the foiled sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Elegant Occasions Sentiments Hot Foil Plate.
To make the flowers I have used the flower dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud dies and added them to the branches. To make the buds I have used small pointed styrofoam buds to create the shape and added the sepals from the Amazing Paper Grace Cinch and Go III flower dies. These were added on the branches as well. The leaves have been die cut out of green cardstock using the leaf dies from the Amazing Paper Grace Candlewick Rosebud dies. I have added 3D Crytal Lacquer to the leaves to make them shiny like the camellia leaves and these were trimmed and added to the branches around the flowers.
To finish the card I have added a butterfly from the Amazing Paper Grace Butterfly Bliss Garden Shutter Dies made out of vellum and gold cardstock and some pink gems.
