❄️ Elegant and Amazing 3D Vignette Christmas Card in White and Blue

Kia ora Koutou

I am still in Christmas card making mode and continuing with my obsession with Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignette Christmas dies and this 3D Vignette card is one of my favourites .

💙🤍 With layered white die-cuts, frosty blue highlights, and a few festive accents, it’s elegant, dimensional, and full of Christmas magic. ✨

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

The Inspiration

I wanted to make something that felt peaceful and sparkly — like a snow-kissed Christmas morning. The 3D vignette style gave me the perfect way to add depth and interest while keeping the design clean and elegant.

Blue and white always feel so fresh together, and when you add a few little Christmas touches — tiny stars, snowflakes, or silver accents — it turns into something really special.

The Design

I built the vignette using several layers of crisp white cardstock, die-cut with intricate arches, gorgeous cut out scenes and a sentiment. Each layer was then assembled using the special side panels to create a beautiful tunnel-style effect.

To add that winter glow, I ink blended the bottom layer with blue inks to create an ombre effect and then added some pearl snowflakes with a stencil and added some sparkle with glitter.

The finished 3D Vignette feels almost like looking through a window into a peaceful Christmas scene — delicate, dimensional, and so elegant.

Finishing Touches

To bring it all together, I added a soft blue sparkly poinsettia and some Christmas foliage with a pair of sweet birds in white and silver to complete the look.

It’s one of those cards that you keep turning in the light — every angle reveals something new! 💫

Elegant Blue, White and Gold Nativity Christmas Card Idea

Kia ora Koutou

There’s something so peaceful about a blue, white and gold Christmas card — calm, classic, and timeless. This week, I wanted to capture that feeling in a handmade design that celebrates the true meaning of Christmas — the Nativity. 💙🤍

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

The Inspiration

When I think of Christmas, I always come back to that serene image of the Nativity — quiet, simple, and full of light. I decided to create a card that reflected that sense of peace using cool winter blues, crisp white, and a touch of gold shimmer and sparkle. The result is an elegant, spiritual design that feels both traditional and modern.

💡 How I Made It:

This simply elegant card has been created using just three die sets. Two die sets were designed to work together to create a stunning nativity scene that can be used to create a 3D vignette or just add dimension and depth to a simple card base. Here I have created a nativity vignette using a combination of gold ombre card and white card and then used foam tape for dimension before adding it to the coordinating background frame. Add some pearl poinsettias, sparkly leaves and pearl accents on a embossed vellum background and you have a very elegant Christmas card. 💙💙

Share the Joy

If you love Nativity-themed cards or elegant blue and white designs, I’d love to know! 💬

👻 m. Halloween Ghost Shaker Card – “Boo!” Card Tutorial

Kia ora Koutou

Looking for a fun and spooky Halloween card idea? This adorable ghost shaker card is the perfect mix of cute and creepy! 🎃 This Halloween shaker card is quick, fun, and easy to personalize. Mix and match Amazing Paper Grace die sets to change the mood and theme easily to suit the image you use.

I love how the shaker element adds that playful hocus pocus rattle — perfect for sending a bit of Halloween cheer (and maybe a little scare 😉).

Have you made your Halloween cards yet? Drop a 👻 in the comments if you’re feeling spooky too!

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creation.

💡 How I Made It:

I started by colouring the ghostly image with Copic markers and then cut the image to create the base of the shaker element. The shaker element is the star of the card — I die cut a frame out of white cardstock, added an ombre purple/blue glittery shadow before adding a clear acetate layer to the back of the frame. I filled this with some hocus pocus Halloween shaker mixes before sealing it up with foam tape onto the coloured image.

I finished it off with a fun Halloween sentiment and embellished with autumn leaves and a pumpkin as well as a sparkly spider web complete with dangling spiders.

This ghost shaker card is packed with Halloween fun, dimension and layers, and a playful “Boo!” sentiment — perfect for sending a little Halloween cheer.

Elegant Blue & White Birthday Card Design

Kia Ora Koutou

💙✨Blue and white never looked this elegant 💙✨

A blue and white decorative lacy birthday card with accents of silver featuring pretty lemon and white daisies with soft green leaves is always a classic and timeless look. Add an elegant “Happy Birthday” die in the center surrounded by a soft pastel background and gentle shadows for depth completes the overall aesthetic which is refined, feminine, and sophisticated.

Create elegant backgrounds to your cards with just three dies. Use one die for the background by trimming the dies in half to create the corners for the base. Add the remaining trimmed dies to the second layer and with some pretty accents with a medallion die and then add the third layer with a statement die that highlights the birthday sentiment. Amazing Paper Grace dies work so well together to create an infinite range of designs.

And we must not forget the layered daisy flowers that add the feminine touch! These daisies are incredibly easy to create quickly and can be coloured so many different combinations to suit all designs.

And of course any card made using Amazing Paper Grace dies has to have pearls to complete the card.

Kia ora Koutou

I have another Christmas card to share with you today and this time I have mixed and matched different white and cream cardstock to create a card with so many different layers and textures using Amazing Paper Grace products. There is a hint of pearl card, pearlescent vellum, glitter card and mirror card to highlight the different layers and dies and to finish the card I have added some matte metallic gold card accents and gold pearls to bring this design together. And to keep to the festive occasion I have added a lovely Christmas embossed layer behind the decorative die cuts.

Pro tip – I should have added some acetate behind the top sentiment die and added it to the front with some more foam strips for more dimension and depth to the Christmas scene.

‘Tis the Season with Amazing Paper Grace

Kia ora Koutou

I was asked recently to make some New Zealand Christmas themed Christmas cards and I thought it would be a great opportunity to use the Amazing Paper Grace Graceful Borders – Graceful Frame Maker Etched Die to create a frame for this cute kiwi on a beach scene. I was really happy with how this card turned out. And I love the cute Santa kiwi too!

Dies were provided by Amazing Paper Grace for today’s creations.

My Project

I am so amazed at the ingenuity of this die to create so many different frame combinations and for this card I have used the Amazing Paper Grace Graceful Borders – Graceful Fans Etched Dies to make a fan border for the image. I have also used the Amazing Paper Grace Classic Fluted Square Etched Dies to complete the frame. I have added some poinsettias and foliage from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month November 2020 Pop up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh Etched Dies and the I have mounted the foiled sentiment from the Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month November 2020 Pop up 3D Vignette Poinsettia Sleigh Etched Dies on the banner from the Amazing Paper Grace Vintage Pierced Banners Etched Dies. To finish the card I have added some sparkle on the sea and the flowers using some Diamond Stickles and to the hat with Stickles Frosted Lace and some gold pearls to the corners and flower centres.

Pink Fresh Studio Monthly Challenge – Monochromatic Magic

Kia ora Koutou

This month’s Pink Fresh Studio Challenge theme is Tone-on-Tone & Monochrome Magic. ✨ Pick a single color and bring it to life by layering different tones and shades—or explore the tone-on-tone technique for added depth and dimension. To spark your creativity, we’ve provided a color palette to choose from—just pick one hue as your star and let it shine!

Our monthly challenge is an Anything Goes Challenge: While the theme and colors are here to inspire you, feel free to enter any NEW project that primarily uses Pinkfresh Studio products. Whether you use the theme, the colors, both or none—it’s up to you. At the end of the day, we just want you to get crafty and have fun!

My card today would fit into the Anything Goes Challenge but I feel it can also fit into the Monochromatic Magic theme as I have used purples and grey colours with a touch of silver for a soft and subtle colour palette.

My Project

My card is a standard side folding 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card with a twist. I have trimmed the front panel down and added a lace border and a grey plaid strip tone on tone card to the front panel. I have hot foiled the Magnificent Magnolia image on white cardstock and coloured it with purple and grey inks. I added some purple inks to the leaves to keep with the tone on tone theme and then added it over the front edge.

For the inside back of the card I have used the Magnificent Magnolia Press Plate to add some interest on the panel by using grey ink on the grey card to tie in with the plaid front and floral image.

I added silver accents with the lace on the front panel and also with the base layer of the sentiment panel on the inside back panel. The sentiment has been reverse hot foiled as well to allow it to stand out on the white background.

Finally, I have added silver pearls to the front and back of the card as shown.
