Kia Ora Koutou
Welcome back to another video tutorial that I have made showing how I do my Classic Roses from Heartfelt Creations. We have had such a tragic event happen here in New Zealand and I have struggled with the enormity of what has happened. In order to cope with the the overwhelming news I had to get into my craft studio and so I finally managed to do a video on how I make my roses using golf tools and basic shaping.
And here is my video:
Materials Used:
Heartfelt Creations – Classic Rose Stamp and Die, Leafy Accents Stamp and Die, Rainboots and Blossoms Stamp and Die, Classic Border Basics, Lacy Diamond Die
Ranger Archival inks – Magenta Hue, Leaf Green, Fern Green
Couture Creations – Swiss Dots embossing folder
CTMH – Stripe embossing folder – now retired
Papericious Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear
Papericious Rajni Chawla’s Frosting Powder
Pearls
I hope that you have a go at making these roses and I look forward to seeing what you make.
Happy Crafting

Thank you Bev and I am so sorry to take so long making this video.
Thank you for sharing your video of your exceptionally gorgeous roses. I loved seeing all of the details and multiple times showing how you actually achieved the beautiful roses. Rachel
Thank you Rachel. I hope that this helps you make gorgeous roses.
They’re so beautiful, Patricia! And it’s really cool to hear your voice! 🙂
Evelyn
Thank you Evelyn – I must admit it took some courage and lots of practice to speak during this video.
Beautiful roses. Thanks for the inspirational video. My heart is saddened knowing of the tragic shooting and loss of life and many injured in your country.
Thank you for your kind words.
Where do you purchase the golf tools from ?
From Heartfelt Creations
This is an amazing video! thank you for the steps to make the rose flowers! beautiful card. What paper did you say you used? I am a little fearful of putting my paper in water like that.
Thank you Sharon. I have used iCraft flower shaping cardstock that is available in India. It is quite strong and robust. I am looking at new flower shaping cardstock so hoping to put this on my blog next week.
Wow..Just Wow. This is the very first time I have EVER seen anyone dip their paper in water. That is just amazing to me. I did not catch the name of the paper though because I am sure it is a special type of paper to be able to do that. This card is just over the top gorgeous and I love the HFC dies. I find them pretty expensive compared to the other brands but I love this so much I might have to splurge on myself. Thank you for such an amazing tutorial. If you can would you post the name of the paper and where you purchase it. I am in the United States so I am sure it will have to be an online purchase. Thank you again.
Thank you Sharman. iCraft cardstock is available from India but I am looking at a different range of flower shaping cardstock and I am in the midst of editing another video and will hopefully put it up next week.
Kia Ora Patricia,
It’s Bev here, the one who has “fat fingers” from card making
Australia & NZ.
I’m glad I looked up your website, so now I might figure
out what Im doing wrong.
Firstly, like you, I’m devastated over what has happened
In NZ. I’m from Gisborne, but have lived in Oz for
22 years.
I only got the Classic Rose last week, tried one flower & was so disappointed with the size of the flower, I almost
gave up. But will look and learn I’m sure from your
tutorial.
I’ll share it if I make it look ok.
I usually put anything I make on the other Aust NZ
(No rules) card sharing place.
Thank you for your kind thoughts. I hope that you are able to learn from my video and make some gorgeous roses. I haven’t heard of the other cardmaking group.
Thank you for the demo. You made your rose so pretty by just using your fingertips. I think I will start doing Heartfelt creations. Good luck and I will follow you. Peggy
Thank you Peggy – I am sure you will have a lot of fun with Heartfelt Creations products – they will take you to the next level!
